The Study for Idol Music as New Korean Wave and Ecosystem Equilibrium of Korean Popular Music Market 2000-2014 (신한류 아이돌 음악과 한국대중음악시장의 생태계 균형에 관한 연구 2000-2014)

  • This research studied how idol music popularity influences on equilibrium of ecosystem in Korean popular music market. Because most of media & press reported that idol music caused unbalance of whole market so this research issued it. Research method is borrowed production of cultural perspective of Peterson and subject of analysis is selected idol music from Melon weekly music chart(2000-2014), which is No. 1 digital music distributor. The result showed idol music did not bring unbalance of ecosystem structure in Korean polular music market and found it contributed diversity of music genre in music market by introducing various musical style all the more. This kind of untested information should not cause idol music production leading new Korean Wave to shrink. Government related organization has to do policy making based on verified fact in future and it should be handled as important matter for sustainable and expansive reproduction of Korean wave.

Studies on the Viability of Frozen Removed Seminal Plasma by Saline(RSP-S) and Tris-buffer(RSP-T) Semen of Small Spcies Dogs

  • This study was carried out to investigate the general characteristics such as volume, sperm concentration, sperm motility, sperm abnormality on whole semen, RSP-S and RSP-T semen and fractional semen of small size dogs, and the effect of temperature and preservation time and cryoproservation on motility of whole and RSP-S and RSP- T semen. Multiple ejaculates were collected from small dogs by the digital manipulation of penis. 1. The volume per ejaculate semen, sperm of concentration and motility and abnormal sperm rate of 1st fractional semen were 0.65±0.09㎖, 4.52±0.35×10/sup 6/ cells/㎖, 15.64±3.85% and 5.50±0.62%. Also, 2nd fractional semen were 1.25±0.20㎖, 3.35±0.48×10/sup 6/cells/㎖, 96.25±4.65% and 4.24±0.46%. And 3rd fractional semen were 1.45±0.21㎖, 3.85±0.52×10/sup 6/cell/㎖, 92.82±4.24% and 4.66±0.58%, respectively. 2. The sperm of concentration and motility and abnormal sperm rates of whole, RSP-S and RSP-T semen were 5.45±0.82×10/sup 6/ cells/㎖, 95.55±4.65%, 4.58±0.45% and 4.82±0.36×10/sup 6/cells/㎖, 90.10±3.42%, 6.48±0.68% and 4.55±0.45× 10/sup 6/cells/㎖, 93.25±3.85%, 4.82±0.58%, respectively. 3. The motility of whole, RSP-S and RSP-T semen were higher at 4℃ than at 38℃. When preservation temperature was at 4℃, survival rates of RSP-S and RSP-T sperm were 97.54%-6.25% at 1-72 hrs, 97.40%-5.62% at 1-100 hrs, respectively. 4. The survival rates of slow and rapid frozen 2nd fraction, RSP-S and RSP-T semen were 67.3±4.45%, 88.8±4.46% and 46.4±3.84%, 74.4±4.20%, respectively. Survival rates was significantly higher in frozen RSP-S and RSP-T semen than that in control group(8.5±2.12%).

  • Since eco friendly and power saving products recently got into the limelight for the protection of environment, LED light technology has caught much of attention as the next generation broadcasting lighting. The newly introduced light source has such advantages as higher efficiency, longer life and its slim and compact forms leading to conveniency in installations. When combined with digital light control it gives more dynamic and various features to lighting. In this paper, used CIE standard for measuring light sources by their purposes and forms to make a comparative analysis of spectral distribution and color rendition of LED light source to those of existing lighting systems. By means of the cast shadowing and color reproduction tests I also tried to figure out the effects of LED lighting design on TV visuals where higher quality is crucial with the audience's increasing demands for quality image.

  • U-City has been promoted nation-wide by development of recent IT technology. This paper studied the concept of 3D-virtual city in order to realize the current Ubiquitous City(U-City) efficiently, and to manage all the RFID/USN monitoring data in the real U-City. 3D-Virtual City is the concept of the reproduction of real world U-City, for embodying Ubiquitous technology while using Digital map, satellite image, VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language). U&V-City is the four-dimensional future city that real-time wire/wireless communication network and 3D-web GIS shall be connected that massive database, intelligent service be perceived through employing EAI(External Authoring Interface) that provides HTML&JAVA, and interface for efficient removal/process of massive information/ service and also by employing GPS/LBS/Navigation in support of world-wide orientation concept, and RTLS(Real Time Location System).

Design of robust Watermarking Algorithm against the Geometric Transformation for Medical Image Security (의료 영상보안을 위한 기하학적 변형에 견고한 워터마킹 알고리즘 설계)

  • A digital watermarking technique used as a protection and certifying mechanism of copyrighted creations including music, still images, and videos in terms of finding any loss in data, reproduction and pursuit. This study suggests using a selected geometric invariant point through the whole processing procedure of an image and inserting and extracting based on the invariant point so that it will be robust in a geometric transformation attack. The introduced algorithm here is based on a watershed splitting method in order to make medical images strong against RST(Rotation Scale, Translation) transformation and other processing. It also helps to maintain the watermark in images that are compressed and stored for a period of time. This algorithm also proved that is has robustness against not only JPEG compression attack, but also RST attack and filtering attack.

An Analysis on the Results of the Operation for Library Remuneration System (도서관보상금제도의 운영성과에 대한 분석)

  • This study analyzed the contracts for library remuneration, amount of the remuneration, average amount of the remuneration in relation to kinds of libraries, distribution of the remuneration, and types and publication year of the works to be collected remuneration based on the data during 2004~2014 from the KORRA. As results, current library remuneration system has limitations for libraries to digitize and transmit to the public their collections, Also, there are some limitations to the protection for copyright holders because the amount of the remuneration collected from libraries has declined and non distribution remuneration has been so high. This study suggested that the library remuneration system needs to be revised considering the scope of library materials to be digitized and predicted frequency of use. Also, the better practical solution to protect copyright holders is not a raise of the library remuneration but the efficient use of the non distribution remuneration.

  • With the expansion of the medical field worldwide, interest in medical devices is also increasing. However, since the field of the special nature of the medical device, is utilized in accordance with the respective devices is determined, the amount depending on the fields, to purchase a medical device is increased. Function digital parts (such as ECG, SpO2) are similar to each other, but there is a disadvantage by applying the method of designing separate each product, the reproduction of the program is difficult, Each product, each product the various OS is used, so that either can not be reused even if a program for the same function, it takes time to develop additional. In this paper, I would like to propose a study of the implementation of the platform of the biological signal of medical equipment to try solve the problems of the medical equipment of these.

  • Currently many people are concerned about 'Amusement With Prize(AWP)', together with the starting of Game Rating and Administration Committee (hereafter 'GRAC'). The mature-rated arcade games reproduced in reel game like the sea story in addition to main game and sub-game, causing social confusion in 2006, are waited for the reviewing of 'GRAC'. Although the game is reproduced in poker style as game system, in reel method as game graphic like 'AWP', the Supreme Court's decision is considered as a poker game May 23, 2013 in the past. Moreover, the Supreme Court said that it is not illegal because they decide that game users do not make a great loss in their possessions, without money change. The research tries to find the direction of the reviewing the mature-rated arcade game for guarantee of objectivity and reliability.

Imbalanced Data Improvement Techniques Based on SMOTE and Light GBM (SMOTE와 Light GBM 기반의 불균형 데이터 개선 기법)

  • Class distribution of unbalanced data is an important part of the digital world and is a significant part of cybersecurity. Abnormal activity of unbalanced data should be found and problems solved. Although a system capable of tracking patterns in all transactions is needed, machine learning with disproportionate data, which typically has abnormal patterns, can ignore and degrade performance for minority layers, and predictive models can be inaccurately biased. In this paper, we predict target variables and improve accuracy by combining estimates using Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) and Light GBM algorithms as an approach to address unbalanced datasets. Experimental results were compared with logistic regression, decision tree, KNN, Random Forest, and XGBoost algorithms. The performance was similar in accuracy and reproduction rate, but in precision, two algorithms performed at Random Forest 80.76% and Light GBM 97.16%, and in F1-score, Random Forest 84.67% and Light GBM 91.96%. As a result of this experiment, it was confirmed that Light GBM's performance was similar without deviation or improved by up to 16% compared to five algorithms.

Exploration of Factors that Improve Realism of Virtual Windows for Implementation of Virtual Environments (가상환경의 구현을 위한 가상창문의 현실감 향상 요소 탐색)

  • Windows are essential and important architectural elements for the organization of architectural spaces, and they give character to the space and have a great impact on the reaction of users. Virtual windows are installed to activate architectural spaces such as underground spaces where windows cannot be installed, and to provide a sense of psychological security to users in hospital clinics, etc. In this study, we reviewed the literature and collected and analyzed the precedents of virtual windows to discuss the factors necessary to improve the realism of virtual windows. The factors that affect the realism of virtual windows are further grouped into five categories: 1. Use of reproduced images or videos for views, 2. Representation of temporality, 3. Responsiveness to changes in the observer's perspective, 4. Realistic reproduction of sunlight, and 5. Provision of non-visual sensory elements. Virtual windows are not just a replacement for traditional windows, but a way to realize a virtual environment using digital media, and it is necessary to expand the discussion to the realization of the virtual environment and the relationship with architectural elements.
