  • This study was carried out to lead the scientific management of the urban forest by estimating the forest environment. Forest environmental information was constructed using IDRISI system based on survey data, soil, plant, and digital elevation data. Forest environmental information was consisted of soil depth, soil organic content, soil hardness and parent rock as a soil environmental factor, and forest community, tree age, crown density as a plant environmental factor. Plant activity and topographic environment also were analyzed by using remote sensing data and digital elevation data. Environmental function of urban forest was estimated based on results of soil conservation and forest productivity. 70% of urban forest is located in elevation of lower than 200m and 55% of forest area have the slope of lower than 15 degree. Analyzed soil conservation status and forest productivity were almost the same as the soil chemical properties of collected soil sample and the vegetation index estimated using remote sensing data, respectively. Thus, the constructed forest environmental information could be useful to give some ideas for management of urban forest ecosystem and establishment of environmental conservation planning, including forests, in Taejon. The best forest environmental function was appeared at the natural ecology preservation zone. Current natural parks and urban parks were appeared to establish the environmental conservation plan for further development. The worst forest environmental function was appeared at the forest near to the industrial area and an overall and systematic plan was required for the soil management and high forest productivity because these forest was developing a severe soil acidification and having a low forest productivity.

  • ESS is an essential requirement for resolving power shortages and power demand management and promoting renewable energy at a time when the energy paradigm changes. In this paper, we propose a cost-effective ESS Peak-Shaving operation plan through load and solar power generation forecast. For the ESS operation plan, electric load and solar power generation were predicted through RMS, which is a statistical measure, and a target load reduction guideline for one hour was set through the predicted electric load and solar power generation amount. The load and solar power generation amount from May 6th to 10th, 2019 was predicted by simulation of load and photovoltaic power generation using real data of the target customer for one year, and an hourly guideline was set. The average error rate for predicting load was 7.12%, and the average error rate for predicting solar power generation amount was 10.57%. Through the ESS operation plan, it was confirmed that the hourly guide-line suggested in this paper contributed to the peak-shaving maximization of customers.Through the results of this paper, it is expected that future energy problems can be reduced by minimizing environmental problems caused by fossil energy in connection with solar power and utilizing new and renewable energy to the maximum.

Based on the analyzed contents, the purpose of the study was to propose an appropriate use plan for performing arts and technology and a plan for future development of convergence performing arts. Looking at the analysis results according to the purpose of the study, as a first step, the use of video technology developed in the performing arts stage using video technology evolved into holograms, media art, and 3D techniques. In the second step, technology and art were fused using artificial intelligence and robots. Artificial intelligence composed music, choreographed dance, and wrote a play script. In addition, robots performed and played with humans on stage. Third, virtual space was also used in performing arts. It was possible to direct spaces in various places using virtual spaces rather than performance halls and stage spaces. In this way, performing arts using digital technology will become more diverse and professional, and things that are possible in imagination that cross boundaries will be developed into reality. This study proposes a convergence that appropriately utilizes various technologies of digital and computer while maintaining the area of creation that humans can do and the expressiveness and artistry they express. In preparation for these changes in the times, future convergence performing artists should be able to acquire a combination of artistry and technology of stage technology experts who can use digital technology, professional actors who can express artistry along with AI, and professionals who can create art by manipulating AI.

  • Modern museum, along with the basic roles of a museum that display to the public through the exhibition of physical evidences that collected, preserved and researched about human environment, it is changing in a way to appropriately fulfill the desire of new culture of the public and to fit the paradigm of the digital era. Diversification of expression method using multimedia played a big role in effective meaning delivery and technology development made possible for interaction-able of digital media build up and application to made possible of interactive communication for visitors. If the main purpose of the past museum exhibition was the delivery of information and knowledge, modern museum's exhibit has been identified as the purpose being diversified through the use of digital media. Exhibition planner, as for museum exhibition that used many characteristics of the digital media as mentioned above, should plan so that past unfamiliar relic can communicate with us living in the modern society. But obsessive usage of the digital media should not shade the interest of the visitors towards the relic in overall exhibition; and what is most important is that other than the exhibition and exhibit, enforcement of translation through systematic coherent approach and its appropriate digital technology and creative application and harmony are more important.
