  • This paper present an efficient techniques for visual inspection of taped electronic parts, suitable for real time implementation. The main environments of developed system are IBM-compatible personal computer, frame grabber, digital input-output board. It is connected to the programmable logic controller unit of the taping machine in real time. Using a queuing structure, operator or extractor machine can remove easily the defect one from production line. Also, we design a new illumination system for sacquring shape and subface features of object. Therefore, it redue pre-processing step and processing time.

  • We acquired operating data to develop a digital control system adaptable to gas turbine power plant with about 50 to 100MW. We analyzed an existing analog control logic using these data. We developed control application programs for turbine automatic start up. We showed a similar result compared with an existing analog control system by computer simulation.

  • Elevator system requires position and speed control at the same time recently. The control device of existing Elevator system making hardware is simplified by using micro-processor that have been developed. In this papers, it consists of contactless logic circuit using miro-processor and digital components. This paper shows that as this system control voltage and frequency using PWM inverter at the same time, speed control is accurate, acceleration and deceleration is soft and passengers can be feel comfortably because speed change is a little during driving.

  • In the paper, a hybrid control approach for the swing-up control of a rotary type inverted pendulum is treated using one-chip microcomputer. The control approach is composed by a scheduling logic control for swing up control and the linear state feedback control to achieve the disired inverted-state of the pendulum. The experimental cystem has been implemented by a 16-bit one-chip microcomputer with 3096 opu as the digital controller incorporating the above mentioned control approach.

  • This paper presents a fast massively parallel automatic test pattern generator for digital combinational logic circuits using neural networks. Automatic test pattern generation neural network(ATPGNN) evolves its state to a stable local minima by exchanging messages among neural network modules. In preprocessing phase, we calculate the essential assignments for the stuck-at faults in fault list by adopting dominator concept. It makes more neurons be fixed and the system speed up. Consequently. fast test pattern generation is achieved. Test patterns for stuck-open faults are generated through getting initialization patterns for the obtained stuck-at faults in the corresponding ATPGNN.

  • This paper investigates the position sensorless control of switched reluctance motor. The system consists of the position detection circuit by the new phase detection algorithm, digital logic commutator, PLL for speed control and 4-phase inverter. The performances in the proposed system are verified through the experiment.

  • It is possible to perform the digital fuzzy logical high-speed and high-precision computation by the use of redundantly-represented binary positive-digit number arithmetic operation. In this paper, as basic operation circuits in the fuzzy logic new voltage-mode 4-valued binary parallel processing operation circuits using positive redundantly-expressed binary-coded numbers is discussed.

  • In this paper, we have space vector PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) circuits on the FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Arry) chip designed by VHDL(Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language). This circuit parts was required at controlling the AC servo motor system and should have been designed with many discrete digital logics. In the result of this study, peripheral circuits are to be simple and the designed logic terms are robust and precise. Because of it's easy verification and implementation, we could deduced that the customize FPGA chip show better performance than that of circuit modules parts constituted of discrete IC.
