  • Artificial Intelligence has stimulated every aspect of today's life. Human thinking quality is trying to be involved through digital tools in all research areas of the modern era. The education industry is also leveraging artificial intelligence magical power. Uses of digital technologies in pedagogical paradigms are being observed from the last century. The widespread involvement of artificial intelligence starts reshaping the educational landscape. Adaptive learning is an emerging pedagogical technique that uses computer-based algorithms, tools, and technologies for the learning process. These intelligent practices help at each learning curve stage, from content development to student's exam evaluation. The quality of information technology students and professionals training has also improved drastically with the involvement of artificial intelligence systems. In this paper, we will investigate adopted digital methods in the education sector so far. We will focus on intelligent techniques adopted for information technology students and professionals. Our literature review works on our proposed framework that entails four categories. These categories are communication between teacher and student, improved content design for computing course, evaluation of student's performance and intelligent agent. Our research will present the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping the educational process.

버추얼 인플루언서의 특성이 패션제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 모방욕구의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Impact of Virtual Influencers' Characteristics on Purchase Intentions Toward Fashion Products: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Mimetic Desire)

  • Virtual influencers, who are emerging as new players in digital marketing, impact consumers' purchase intentions. They promote positive perceptions and mimetic consumption of specific brands or products through interactions with followers. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of the characteristics of virtual influencers on the purchase intention for fashion products through the consumers' mimetic desire. As characteristics of virtual influencers, five factors were set: reality, attractiveness, professionalism, trustworthiness, and curiosity. Data for analysis were collected through an online questionnaire from the 8th to the 15th of August 2023, and 268 data points in total were analyzed using SPSS and Process Macro 4.3. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of virtual influencers all positively affected mimetic desire and purchase intention for fashion products. Moreover, it was found that mimetic desire has a mediating effect between the five characteristics of virtual influencers and the purchase intention for fashion products. Mimetic desire fully mediates the relationship between reality and the intention to purchase fashion products, and partially mediates the relationship between attractiveness, professionalism, trustworthiness, and curiosity and the purchase intention for fashion products. These findings further enhance the understanding of the relationship between virtual influencers and consumer behavior and identify the relationship between virtual influencers, mimetic desire, and fashion product purchase intentions. Consequently, leveraging virtual influencers strategically in digital marketing, the fashion industry can amplify positive brand perceptions, drive consumer engagement, and ultimately foster increased purchase intent.

  • 정보기술과 콘텐츠가 만난 전자책에 세계는 주목하고 있고 전자책 시장은 하나의 융합된 산업으로 급부상 중이다. 세계 각국이 전자책 산업의 가능성과 성장세에 주목하며 적극적으로 신(新)시장에 참여하고 있고, 국내 시장도 도약을 준비하는 상태라고 할 수 있다. 어떠한 시기에 가장 밀접한 관련이 있는 자료들을 디지털화된 형태로 바로 구할 수 있는 선택권이 없다는 사실은 급변하는 사회에서 문제가 될 수밖에 없다. 그러므로 이제는 콘텐츠의 수집, 활용 전략이 새롭게 바뀌어야 할 필요가 있다. 새로운 콘텐츠의 제공을 위해 전자도서관 또는 디지털도서관의 시행과 관련된 법제도적 쟁점 대해 생각해 보아야 한다. 해외에서의 디지털도서관 운영 대표적인 예로 미국의 구글북서치(Google Book Search)와 이에 대응하는 유럽연합(EU) 주도의 유로피아나(Europeana)가 있다. 그렇다면 한국에서는 디지털도서관을 어떻게 실현할 것인가? 디지털도서관은 분명 엄청난 사회적 후생과 경제적 파급효과를 가져올 수 있는 변화이다. 앞으로 현대사회에서 정보를 제공하고 공유하고 이용하는 방식을 크게 바꿔 놓을 수 있기에 이 주제에 대한 사회적 준비가 필요하다는 생각이다. 그러므로 이 글은 국내에서 디지털도서관의 구축을 위해 고려해야 할 사항과 법적, 경제적 문제 등을 살펴보고 그에 대한 제도적 대안을 제공하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는, 증폭 후 재전송하는 부분 릴레이 선택 방식의 듀얼홉 릴레이 시스템에 대한 성능을 분석한다. 증폭 후 재전송하는 릴레이 이득은 채널과 잡음을 동시에 고려한 이득이다. 수신 SNR 모델을 이용하여 닫힌형태의 end-to-end SNR 확률밀도함수와 누적분포함수를 유도한다. 또한, 부분 릴레이 선택 방식을 갖는 듀얼홉 릴레이 시스템의 정확한 닫힌 형태의 채널 용량을 분석한다. 마지막으로 본 논문의 이론적인 분석은 Monte-Carlo 시험을 통하여 검증한다.

A Study of Fronthaul Networks in CRANs - Requirements and Recent Advancements

  • One of the most innovative paradigms for the next-generation of wireless cellular networks is the cloud-radio access networks (C-RANs). In C-RANs, base station functions are distributed between the remote radio heads (RHHs) and base band unit (BBU) pool, and a communication link is defined between them which is referred as the fronthaul. This leveraging link is expected to reduce the CAPEX (capital expenditure) and OPEX (operating expense) of envisioned cellular architectures as well as improves the spectral and energy efficiencies, provides the high scalability, and efficient mobility management capabilities. The fronthaul link carries the baseband signals between the RRHs and BBU pool using the digital radio over fiber (RoF) based common public radio interface (CPRI). CPRI based optical links imposed stringent synchronization, latency and throughput requirements on the fronthaul. As a result, fronthaul becomes a hinder in commercial deployments of C-RANs and is seen as one of a major bottleneck for backbone networks. The optimization of fronthaul is still a challenging issue and requires further exploration at industrial and academic levels. This paper comprehensively summarized the current challenges and requirements of fronthaul networks, and discusses the recently proposed system architectures, virtualization techniques, key transport technologies and compression schemes to carry the time-sensitive traffic in fronthaul networks.

Product Adoption Maximization Leveraging Social Influence and User Interest Mining

  • A Social Networking Service (SNS) platform provides digital footprints to discover users' interests and track the social diffusion of product adoptions. How to identify a small set of seed users in a SNS who is potential to adopt a new promoting product with high probability, is a key question in social networks. Existing works approached this as a social influence maximization problem. However, these approaches relied heavily on text information for topic modeling and neglected the impact of seed users' relation in the model. To this end, in this paper, we first develop a general product adoption function integrating both users' interest and social influence, where the user interest model relies on historical user behavior and the seed users' evaluations without any text information. Accordingly, we formulate a product adoption maximization problem and prove NP-hardness of this problem. We then design an efficient algorithm to solve this problem. We further devise a method to automatically learn the parameter in the proposed adoption function from users' past behaviors. Finally, experimental results show the soundness of our proposed adoption decision function and the effectiveness of the proposed seed selection method for product adoption maximization.

An AI-Based Prevention Program to Protect Youth from Cybergrooming

  • The Digital Age calls for improvement of information literacy particularly among children and youth who are vulnerable to cybergrooming. Taking an interdisciplinary approach by leveraging our team's expertise including child and adolescent development, data analytics, and cybersecurity, this study proposes an interactive artificial intelligence (AI)-based preventive simulation program that raises youth knowledge and awareness about the risk of cybergrooming as well as increases resilient self-efficacy in their cybersecurity-relevant skills. The primary purpose of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the simulation program on preventing cybergrooming. More specifically, this study is designed to examine developmental changes in self-efficacy of cybersecurity-relevant skills among youth participants as a function of the preventive simulation program. Further, this study will identify risk and protective factors that explain interindividual differences in the ability of children and youth either to fall victim to advances from a cyber predator or to recognize and deter such threats. The preliminary data will help improve the effectiveness of the preventive simulation program as well as the methods of implementation to large groups of youth. The findings from the proposed study will contribute to making specific recommendations to parents, educators, practitioners, and policy makers for the prevention of cybergrooming.

도시의 지속가능성을 위한 기록 콘텐츠 개발 연구 (A Study on Developing Archival Contents for Urban Sustainability)

  • 이 연구는 거대도시화가 심화되며 지방 소멸이 현실화되고 있는 상황에서, 소멸 위기 도시의 지속가능성을 지원하기 위한 기록 콘텐츠 개발 방법론을 탐구한다. 장소성 이론 검토를 통해 기록 콘텐츠가 재현하는 장소성이 지역의 고유한 정체성 형성에 기여할 수 있음을 입증하고, 내러티브와 스토리텔링 방법론을 분석하여 기록 콘텐츠를 구성하는 전략을 제시한다. 이와 함께 디지털 기술을 활용하여 기록 콘텐츠와 이용자의 상호작용을 증진하는 서비스 방안을 모색한다. 이 연구에서 기록 콘텐츠가 장소성을 재현하고 지원하는 역할을 할 수 있음을 이론적으로 확인하였으며, 이를 기반으로 도시의 지속가능성을 지원하는 아카이브 전략에 활용할 수 있기를 바란다.

Privacy-preserving credential smart contracts using Zokrates

  • The need for secure user authentication in blockchain-based applications has been growing with the increased adoption of Decentralized Identity (DID) credentials in blockchain. Zokrates, a tool designed to protect user privacy within smart contracts, had a limitation in that it could not accept authenticated user information such as credentials, only allowing the use of manually inputted data. In this paper, we propose a smart contract system that securely validates DID credentials to overcome the limitations of traditional centralized authentication systems. This system ensures the safe identification of users within blockchain-based applications by authenticating their identities in a trusted manner within the blockchain. As the demand for user authentication in blockchain rises, this paper emphasizes the significance of a blockchain-based identity verification system that guarantees both privacy and security. Leveraging the Zero-Knowledge Proof method and utilizing the Zokrates tool, this innovative approach aims to provide solutions for the digital identity verification process, thereby expanding the scope of blockchain technology applications. Moreover, we also provide a CLI for each entity. We help anyone who wants to authenticate their identity using the tool to safely verify it on-chain.

공공기관 근무자의 스마트 모바일기기 사용과 업무성과의 관계에 관한 연구: TAM 모형을 활용한 업무성과와의 관계 검증을 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship Between Smart Mobile Devices Use and Work Performances of Public Agencies: Focused on verification of the relationship between performances using TAM)

  • 본 연구는 스마트 모바일 기기를 업무에 활용하는 공공기관 근로자 집단을 대상으로 사용자의 사용자요인과 수용요인이 업무성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하고, 스마트 모바일 기기 활용과 업무성과의 긍정적 관계를 확인함으로써 스마트 모바일 기기의 직무적합성을 향상하기 위한 전략적 제언을 하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구결과, 스마트 모바일 기기의 수용자 혁신성은 인지된 유용성에 B=.296, p=.000, 사용용이성에 B=.326, P=.000의 영향을 미치고, 직무적합성은 인지된 유용성에 B=.261, p=.001의 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 인지된 유용성 및 인지된 사용용이성은 각각 B=.382, 488, p=.000으로, 업무성과를 긍정적으로 개선하고 있었다. 또한 이러한 관계를 인지된 유용성과 사용용이성이 매개하고 있음을 결론적으로 확인할 수 있었다.
