Implementation of SDR Platform for LTE using GNU Radio and NDK of TI DSP (GNU Radio와 TI DSP의 NDK를 이용한 LTE SDR 플랫폼 구현)

  • This paper presents an implementation method using NDK (Network Developer's Kit) of GNU (GNU is Not Unix) Radio and Multicore DSP (Digital Signal Processor) to implement LTE (Long Term Evolution) SDR (Software Defined Radio) Platform. In order to satisfy 1.4MHz, 3MHz, 5MHz and 10MHz of the bandwidth supported by LTE, USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) X series which is an RF (Radio Frequency) transceiver of Ettus Research was used. To control this, GNU Radio which is an open source software radio toolkit was used. We also used NDK from TI (Texas Instruments) DSP to transfer data between USRP and DSP. Experimental results show throughput results according to each bandwidth, thus confirming the feasibility of implementing LTE SDR Platform using GNU Radio and NDK of TI DSP.

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm, an optimized architecture, and an implementation for an improved performance of image downscaler. The proposed downscaler uses two-dimensional digital filters for horizontal and vertical scalings, respectively. It also improves scaling precisions and decreases the loss of data, compared with the 1/32 scaler 〔1〕. In order to achieve the optimization, the digital filters are implemented by the multiplexer -adder type scheme 〔2〕. The scaler is designed by using the Verilog-HDL. It is synthesized into gates by using the Samsung 0.35 um STD90 TLM library.

  • A digital platform government without boundaries between the public and private sectors and between government ministries is impossible without national data management. Logical verification was carried out in this study following the definition of the national data management system's purpose, elements, and mode of implementation. Specifically, it was broken down into three dimensions in an effort to review different aspects: the management subject, the management method, and the designation target of national data. Finally, a description of the national master data management system and organization was given. The direction for the implementation of the digital platform government will be presented by this study.

  • In this paper, we investigate the time-sampling effects on the digital implementation of singular perturbation based STT autopilot with excellent performance and propose a compensation method for the time-sampling effects. In digitization of analog STT autopilot, it is found that the stability margin of the fast dynamics is mostly affected to lead to rapid decrease. Under the this analysis, a composite digital controller with additional compensator for fast dynamics is proposed to improve the time-sampling effect and a simulation verifies the result.

  • This paper has been studied about designed digital-pen using PIC and Accelerometer and about calculated acceleration by the measure analog signal from accelerometer Finally, we calculate the coordinates and the tilt about the acceleration and discuss the possibility of using the digital-pen from cellular phone. And we discuss about the full-duplex communication of input data that displayed in cellular phone.

  • A fuzzy digital controller is combined an autopilot system for compensating the cross coupling effect of the induced roll due to the dynamic characteristic of three fin torpedo. However the utilization of fuzzy chip has many interfacing problems with typical microprocessors of the guidance and control unit. Since a fuzzy digital controller on a microprocessor uses a finite word length A/D converters arul D/A converters, ADC and DAC may generate nonlinear effects such as deadband and limit cycle phenomena. In this paper, the robustness of fuzzy digital controller is tested with ADC a finite word length.

  • A uniformly sampled digital pulse-width modulation adopting a pre-compensation filter scheme for applications in high-resolution digital-to-analog data conversion is described. It is shown that linearization of the intrinsic distortion resulting in uniformly sampled pulse-width modulation can be achieved by using a non-integer delay digital filter embedded within a noise shaping re-quantizer.
