In this paper, exploiting repetitive properties, a constrained digital regulation technique for first order hyperbolic PDE systems is proposed that guarantees the stability and performance of the closed loop system.
In 2011, in the Olympus advertisement appeared a copy of 'Writing of Picture'. Usually, the verb of 'Shoot' is commonly attached behind the picture, but a new sentence was made connecting 'writing' into the picture in the advertisement. With entrance of the digital era, the digital devices became popular, and the behaviors people post messages and pictures together on the internet site also became popular. Whether we first take a picture and then make a writing later, or whether we first make a writing and then take a picture later, the meaning of 'writing' and 'shooting' is actually alike in the digital era. People now use various images and writings, at the same time, of the pictures in expressing their own selves positively. This soon means not only that the pictures are helpful for writings, but also that the delivery of the meaning is not carried out only by characters. To the digital natives who have grown within many images, this atmosphere is a natural thing. In the field of Korean language education, the study of making use of the pictures and media for writings is in progress.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of the inter-arch relationship of digital models generated using two types of intraoral scanners. Methods: In total, 34 plaster model samples were used. Two corresponding digital models were created using two types of intraoral scanners. A total of 15 variables were measured. The plaster model was directly measured using a digital caliper, while the digital models were measured using a software. The accuracy of the measurements was evaluated using repeated measures analysis of variance and the Friedman test. Results: Among the 15 measurements, 6 measurements[Overjet, Overbite, DZ_11-41 (Distance between the gingival zenith of maxillary right central incisor and mandibular right central incisor), DZ_16-46 (Distance between the gingival zenith of maxillary right first molar and mandibular right first molar), DZ_13-33 (Distance between the gingival zenith of maxillary right canine and mandibular left canine), and DZ_23-43 (Distance between the gingival zenith of maxillary left canine and mandibular right canine)]showed statistically significant differences, with DZ_23-43 showing the largest difference of 0.18 mm. The other measurements showed no statistically significant differences. Conclusions: Regardless of the type of scanner used for preparation, digital models can be used as clinically acceptable alternatives to conventional plaster models.

The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare observer performance between conventional radiographs and their digitized images for the detection of bone loss in the bifurcation of mandiblar first molar. One dried human mandible with minimal periodontal bone loss around the first molar was selected and serially enlarged 17 step defects were prepared in the bifurcation area. The mandible was radiographed with exposure time of 0.12, 0.20, 0.25, 0.32, 0.40, 0.64 seconds, after each successive step in the preperation and all radiographs were digitized with IBM-PC/32 bit-Dx compatible, video camera (VM-S8200, Hitachi Co., Japan), and color monitor(Multisync 3D, NEC, Japan). Sylvia Image Capture Board for the ADC(analog to digital converter) was used. The obtained results were as follows: 1. In the conventional radiographs, the mean score of the readability was higher at the condition of exposure time with 0.32 second. Also, as the size of artificial lesion was increased, the readability of radiographs was elevated (P<0.05). 2. In the digital images, the mean score of the readability was higher at the condition of exposure time with 0.40 second. Also, as the size of artificial lesion was increased, the readability of digital images was elevated(P<0.05). 3. At the same exposure time, the mean scores of readibility were mostly higher in the digitized images. As the exposure time was increased, the digital images were superior to radiographs in readability. 4. As the size of lesion was changed, the digital images were superior to radiographs in detecting small lesion. 5. The coefficient of variation of mean score has no significant difference between digital images and radiographs.
With increasing of utilization of 1/1,000 Digital-Map being constructed with NGIS project, it is entering upon the stage that problem as the inspection of position accuracy of Digital-Map before its use. This paper evaluated position accuracy of Digital-Map being based on the construction of college facility management system into small area and presented modification/renovation of Digital-Map on area being occurred position error. With a view to evaluation of position error to building using RTK survey, position error was shown more than 0.5mm that is prescribed in survey-law. In order to acquire good position accuracy, first we carried out Static survey to college and selected control point. And, we evaluated coordinate value to important building from control point and compared these results with RTK survey results. Second, we carried out Affine transform based on the control point of building being surveyed with RTK, transformed pre-constructed Digital-Map and compared these results with RTK Survey results. We analyzed first and second method and presented improvement method of position accuracy of Digital-Map suited on small area.
This paper describes our design of a contents distribution framework that supports transparent distribution of digital contents on the Internet as well as copyright protection of participants in the contents distribution value chain. Copyright protection must ensure that participants in the distribution channel get the royalties due to them and that purchasers use the contents according to usage rules. It must also prevent illegal draining of digital contents. To design a contents distribution framework satisfying the above requirements, we first present four digital contents distribution models. On the basis of the suggested distribution models, we designed a contract system for distribution of royalties among participants in the contents distribution channel, a license mechanism for enforcement of contents usage to purchasers, and both a packaging mechanism and a secure client system for prevention of illegal draining of digital contents.
This paper proposes a novel and efficient intelligent digital redesign technique for a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy system. The term of intelligent digital redesign involves converting an existing analog fuzzy-model-based controller into an equivalent digital counterpart in the sense of state matching. In this paper, we suggest the discretization method based on the dual-rate sampling approximation is first proposed, and then attempt to globally match the states of the overall closed-loop TS fuzzy system with the pre-designed analog fuzzy-model-based controller and those with the digitally redesigned fuzzy-model-based controller. To show the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed method, a computer simulation is provided.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the case of leading company in digital contents to promote industrial competitiveness of Korea. Analysis of this case study focuses on function and roles of leading company in digital contents industry. The main results of the paper are as follows: First, the government should prepare, main, and improve required technological and legal infrastructure for digital contents as quickly as possible. Second, the diffusion of the new digital contents companies can be promoted by ensuring fare competition and reliable market. For the inducing of this results, brainstorming methodology of related expert and survey research with leading company were applied to this paper.

This paper proposes a digital forensic method by an evaluation function based on timestamp changing patterns. Operations on file or folder leave changed timestamps, which give the ways to know what operations were executed. Changes of timestamps of ten operations of a file and eight operations of a folder were examined. Analyses on the changes on the eight folder operations are newly added in this paper, which are not performed in the previous works. Based on the timestamps changes of the file and the folder, two evaluation functions are proposed. The first evaluation function checks whether timestamps are changed by file and folder operations, and the second evaluation function checks whether timestamps are originated from a source file or other attribute field. By the two output values from these evaluation functions, a digital forensic investigation on the file or the folder is performed. With some cases, i. e. file copy and folder creation operations, the proposed forensic method is tested for its usefulness.
The purpose of this study is to show the implications of the term "digital architecture," which are realized in the current architecture. To do this, I first observe its theoretical background and then analyze the works of Marcos Novak, Kas Oosterhuis, and Lars Spuybroek, all of whom are called the typical digital architects. In particular, this study tries to show that the digital architects are introducing the non-Euclidean multi-dimensions and the cyberspace and applying the notions of liquid architecture, transarchitecture, body-building, and body-building, and body-motorized system into their works. Finally, I conclude that the digital architecture anticipates the direction of the future architecture, in which the virtual world is merged with the real world, the digital space is realized in the real space, and the human is completely harmonized with nature.th nature.
