  • In this paper, using tile concept of block digital filtering, and the design procedure of time-interleaved oversampling converter are presented. it is shown that arbitrary sigma-delta A/D converter can be converted into corresponding time-interleaved structure. The TIM structure of this paper is designed by the bilinear transform. To verify the simulation results, a second-order TIM structure A/D converter has been implemented and the design process as well as experimented results are presented.

  • An effective method is described for monitoring the ground impedance of intelligent building and power system. Most of grounding system of buildings are interconnected to extensive grounding network of power line, signal and control line, telecommunication line, and etc. Therefore, the residual voltages of power frequency and its harmonics may have an significant influence on the accurate measurement of ground impedance. For eliminating the influence of residual voltage, we developed a test power source for generating the 110[Hz] square wave and used digital filtering method in this research.

  • A new implementation of Block Adaptive filter in frequency domain is presented in this paper. Block digital filtering involves the calculation of a block or finite set of filter out put from a block of input values. A fast convergence algorithm of block adaptive filter is developed using Gordar theory and compared with the performance results of Satio algorithm and BLMS algorithm. Form the result we can be shown that the convergence state of given algorithm is not only faster than BLMS algorithm but also the resulting convergence error is less than the convergence error of Satio algorithm.

  • This paper introduce a millimeter-wave radar system. As Fig 1 shows, This system consists of millimeter-wave radar front-end and digital signal processing parts through receive waves regarding up-coming obstacles. The system works as follow process; (1) Generate regular tripodal waves using the FMCW pulse generator (2) Transmit/Receive waves regarding up-coming obstacles (3) Analog filtering (4) FIFO memory interface (5) FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) (6) Calculation of distance / speed between cars (7) Object display and calibration. We have progress to solve the problem like as increase of traffic accidents causing damage and injuries due to the increased number of motor vehicles and long distance driving, and Need for a device to help drivers who are in trouble due to bad weather conditions. We are expect to Take the lead as a core technology in the ITS industry and to develop circuit and signal processing technologies related to millimeter-wave bandwidth.

  • In this paper, the performance degradation caused by the band pass filter and the data sampling timing error which are generally considered ideal for the simplicity was analyzed. The well known intersymbol interference theory can be applicable to calculate only the upper bound of a system performance. Therefore to obtain the average error probability, a method average intersymbol interference was proposed. This method can be applicable to obtain average error probablity with a computer simulation and with a measured value in test lab. easily.

  • Digital Halftoning convert a continuous-tone images to a binary images. Inverse halftoning addresses the problem of recovering a continuous image from a halftoned binary image. Simple low pass filtering can remove the high frequency noise but it also removes the edge information. Thus the edge information should be separated from the halftoning noise. As a result, the edge of result image is blurring. This paper present that we obtain continuous-tone-image which using Anisotropic diffusion filter. To reduce noise without blurring the edges of reconstructed image use edge map. The experimental results show that proposed method gives a higher PSNR and better subjective quality than conventional methods. As a result, the edge information of reconstructed image reduce blurring.

  • A purpose of developing a sound source tracking system in this paper is to reduce the noise efficiently from the received signal by microphone array and measure the signal's time delay between the microphones. I have applied the wavelet analysis algorithm to the system and calculated the sound source's relative position For the performance evaluation, I have compared with the results of utilizing the digital filtering methods based on the FIR LPF using Kaiser window function and the inverse Chebyshev IIR LPF. As a result, I have confirmed the fact that 'time-scale' filter using inverse discrete wavelet transform was suitable for this system.

  • Deleting unsolicited email, popularly known as spam mail, is an annoying task for Internet users. Moreover, spam mail causes a variety of social problems. At present, legal restrictions cannot eradicate spam senders. As a result many technical methods to eliminate spam mail such as spam filtering and online stamps have been introduced. However, the process of blocking spam mail can inadvertently result in suspension of indispensable or beneficial communication. In this paper, we propose a certificate and agent based emailing architecture that can block spam mail, while at the same time approve certified mail. This architecture can be accelerated by synergistic utilization of digital signature and electronic document interchange.

  • Motion tracking and localization devices are an important building block of motion tracking systems in a virtual reality (VR) environment. This study is about improving the accuracy of motion and location for enhancing user immersion in experience type VR environment to position tracking technique. In this study, we propose and test a design of such a device. The module data test of the attitude and heading reference system shows that the implementation with the MPU-9250 sensor is successful and adequate to be used with short operation time. We consider various sensor hardware dependencies of VR, and compare various correction methods and filtering methods to lower the motion to photon (MTP) time that user movement is fully reflected on the display using sensor devices. The Kalman filter is used to combine the accelerometer with the gyroscope in the sensing unit.
