LB법으로 제작한 MIM 구조 유기 박막의 전자특성 (Electronic Properties of MIM Structure Organic Thin-films that Manufacture by LB method)

  • 전기 전자 소자를 제작하는 방법으로 Langmuir-Boldgett(LB)법이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 수면위에 형성된 단분자막을 압축 또는 확장하면, 분자가 배향하는 과정에서 맥스웰 변위전류(MDC)가 흐른다. MDC는 전속밀도의 변화에 기인해서 흐르므로 MDC를 측정하는 것에 의해 분자의 동적 거동 관찰할 수 있다. 단분자막을 압축하는 속도와 분자면적은 서로 선형적인 관계를 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 압축속도를 30, 40, 50mm/min으로 달리하여 단분자막의 동적 거동을 관찰하였으며 LB법을 이용하여 Arachidic acid 단분자를 slide glass 위에 Y-type으로 9$\sim$21층의 다층막을 누적하여 Au/Arachidic acid/Al 소자를 제작하였다. 또한 Metal-Insulator-Metal(MIM) 소자의 I-V 특성을 측정하여 전극간의 거리가 커질수록 절연특성이 좋아짐을 확인하였다.

감각형 증강현실 기반 상호작용 대안들의 비교 (Comparison of User Interaction Alternatives in a Tangible Augmented Reality Environment)

  • In recent years, great attention has been paid to using simple physical objects as tangible objects to improve user interaction in augmented reality (AR) environments. In this paper, we address AR-based user interaction using tangible objects, which has been used as a key component for virtual design evaluation of engineered products including digital handheld products. We herein consider the use of two types (product-type and pointer-type) of tangible objects. The user creates input events by touching specified parts of the product-type object with the pointer-type object, and the virtual product reacts to the events by rendering its visual and auditory contents on the output devices. The product-type object is used to reflect the geometric shape of a product of interest and to determine its position and orientation in the AR environment. The pointer-type object is used to recognize the reference position of the pointer (or finger) in the same environment. The rapid prototype of the product is employed as a good alternative to the product-type object, but various alternatives to the pointer-type object can be considered according to fabrication process and touching mechanism. In this paper, we present four alternatives to the pointer-type object and investigate their strong and weak points by performing experimental comparison of their various aspects including interaction accuracy, task performance, and qualitative user experience.

텍스트마이닝을 활용한 도로분야 ITS 정책이슈 탐색기법 정립 (Establishment of ITS Policy Issues Investigation Method in the Road Section applied Textmining)

  • 본 연구는 빅데이터를 활용하여 감사 시 유의해서 살펴보아야 할 ITS 관련 정책이슈 탐색방법 개발 및 적용을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 William Dunn이 제안한 경계분석을 이론적 토대로 하여, 여기에 감사원 감사실무 프로세스를 접목한 감사이슈 분석 틀을 제안했다. 그리고 이 분석 틀을 전산으로 구현하기 위해 메타문제를 추정하는 개념이 경계분석과 유사한 텍스트마이닝 기법을 응용했다. 텍스트마이닝의 구체적 모형은 David Blei가 제안한 Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA) 모형을 기반으로 하는 비대칭-대칭 혼합 어휘소 기반 LDA를 응용했다. 사례분석 결과, 경찰청에서 운영하는 도시교통정보시스템의 교통정보 수집률 저조와 국토교통부의 첨단교통관리시스템과의 중복 문제, 디지털 운행기록계의 주행거리 조작 등이 주요 이슈로 도출됐다.

브레이크 캘리퍼 내부 검사를 위한 비전시스템 개발 (Development of the Vision System to Inspect the Inside of the Brake Calipers)

  • Development of vision system as a nondestructive evaluation system can be very useful in screening the defective mechanical parts before they are assembled into the final product. Since the tens of thousands of the mechanical parts are used in an automobile carefully inspecting the quality of the mechanical parts is very important to maximize the performance of the automobile. To sort out the defective mechanical parts before they are assembled, auto parts fabrication companies employ various inspection systems. Nondestructive evaluation systems are getting rapidly popular among various inspection systems. In this study, we have developed a vision system to inspect the inside of the brake caliper, a part that is used to compose a brake which is the most important to the safety of the drivers and the passengers. In a brake caliper, a piston is pushed against the brake disk by oil pressure, causing a friction to damp the rotation of the wheel. Inside the caliper, a groove is positioned to adopt an oil seal to prevent the oil leaks. Inspecting the groove with our vision system, we could examine the existence of the contaminants which are normally the residual tiny pieces from the machining process. We used a high resolution GigE camera, 360 degree lens to look in the inside view of the caliper at once, and a special illumination system in this vision system. We used the edge detection technique to successfully detect the contaminants which were in the form of small metal chips. Labview graphical program was used to process the digital data from the camera and to display the vision and the statistics of the contaminants. We were very successful in detecting the contaminants from the various size calipers. We think we are ready to employ this vision system to the caliper production factories.

  • 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널에서는 표현 가능한 회색 준위의 수를 향상시키기 위해 오차 확산 방법이 주로 사용되고 있다. 이 방법은 표현 가능한 회색 준위 수의 증가를 가져오나 오차 확산 과정에서 발생하는 웜라이크 패턴은 오차 확산 처리 이후의 여러 가지 영상 처리 과정을 거치면서 증가되어 화질저하의 요인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 화질저하를 일으키는 웜라이크 패턴의 증가를 막기 위하여 average picture level 특성을 고려한 화질개선 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법으로 모의실험을 한 결과, 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 표현 가능한 회색 준위의 수가 증가되었고, 웜라이크 패턴은 현저히 감소하였으며, 각 회색 준위의 상관 색온도 특성이 균일하게 됨을 확인하였다.

Fe 입자를 미세 분산 시킨 AlN 박막의 물리적 성질 (Physical Properties of Fe Particles Fine-dispersed in AlN Thin Films)

  • This paper describes the fabrication of AlN thin films containing iron and iron nitride particles, and the magnetic and electrical properties of such films. Fe-N-Al alloy films were deposited in Ar and $N_2$ mixtures at ambient temperature using Fe/Al composite targets in a two-facing-target DC sputtering system. X-ray diffraction results showed that the Fe-N-Al films were amorphous, and after annealing for 5 h both AlN and bcc-Fe/bct-$FeN_x$ phases appeared. Structure changes in the $FeN_x$ phases were explained in terms of occupied nitrogen atoms. Electron diffraction and transmission electron microscopy observations revealed that iron and iron nitride particles were randomly dispersed in annealed AlN films. The grain size of magnetic particles ranged from 5 to 20 nm in diameter depending on annealing conditions. The saturation magnetization as a function of the annealing time for the $Fe_{55}N_{20}Al_{25}$ films when annealed at 573, 773 and 873 K. At these temperatures, the amount of iron/iron nitride particles increased with increasing annealing time. An increase in the saturation magnetization is explained qualitatively in terms of the amount of such magnetic particles in the film. The resistivity increased monotonously with decreasing Fe content, being consistent with randomly dispersed iron/iron nitride particles in the AlN film. The coercive force was evaluated to be larger than $6.4{\times}10^3Am^{-1}$ (80 Oe). This large value is ascribed to a residual stress restrained in the ferromagnetic particles, which is considered to be related to the present preparation process.

새로운 구조의 큰 복 굴절을 가진 광자결정 광섬유의 제작에 관한 연구 (Study on the Novel Fabrication Method of Highly Birefringent Photonic Crystal Fiber)

  • Stack-and-draw 방법을 사용하여 새로운 구조의 높은 복굴절을 가진 광자 결정 광섬유(highly birefringent photonic crystal fiber, Hi-Bi PCF)를 제작하였다. 제작된 광섬유는 공기구멍으로 구성된 클래딩 외부에 큰 공기구멍을 추가함으로써 광섬유 인출 과정중에 코어와 공기층 클래딩 영역에 비대칭적인 압력이 인가되어 코어가 타원형으로 변형되어 복굴절이 유도된다. 제작된 Hi-Bi PCF의 복굴절은 1550 nm에서 $2.29{\times}10^{-4}$로 측정되었다.

  • Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is a useful rapid prototyping technique for the manufacture of three dimensional (3D) solid objects directly from a scanning data. A new approach called a Selective Multi-Laser Sintering (SMLS) system has been developed at Korea Institute Machinery & Materials (KIMM) as an industrial type SFFS. This SMLS machine is built with a frame, heaters, nitrogen supply part, laser system. This system uses the dual laser and 3D scanner made in $Solutionix^{TM}$ to improve the precision and speed for large objects. The three-dimensional solid objects are made of polyamide powder. The investigation on each part of SMLS system is performed to determine the proper theirs design and the effect of experimental parameters on making the 3D objects. The temperature of the system has a great influence on sintering the polymer. Because the stability of the powder temperature prevents the deformation of each layer, the controls of the temperature in both the system and the powders are very important during the process. Therefore, we simulated the temperature distribution of build room using the temperature analysis with ANSYS program. Selected radiant heater is used to raise temperature of powder to melting point temperature. The laser parameters such as scan spacing, scan speed, laser power and laser delay time affect the production the 3D objects too. The combination of the slow scan speed and the high laser power shows the good results without the layer curling. The work is under way to evaluate the effect of experimental parameters on process and to produce the various objects. We are going to experiment continuously to improve the size accuracy and surface roughness.

$HgI_2$ 방사선 검출기의 누설전류 저감에 관한 연구 (Study on the dark current reduction of $HgI_2$ radiation detector)

  • Analog film/screen systems have been being changed to a digital x-ray imaging device using direct conversion materials. Photocoductors for a direct detection flat-panel imager require high x-ray absorption, ionization and charge collection, low leakage current and large area deposition. In this work, $HgI_2$ films with excellent properties for x-ray detector were deposited by screen printing method. The thickness of $HgI_2$ film was about $150\;{\mu}m$. The passivation layer is fabricated using a-Se and parlyene, the both fabrication $HgI_2$ film were compared for analyzing the leakage current reduction. We measured electrical properties-leakage current, photosensitivity, SNR though I-V measurement, As the result, $HgI_2$ film using a-Se passivation layer had the greater

Effect of polymerization method and fabrication method on occlusal vertical dimension and occlusal contacts of complete-arch prosthesis

  • PURPOSE. This study evaluated the dimensional stability of a complete-arch prosthesis processed by conventional method in water bath or microwave energy and polymerized by two different curing cycles. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Forty maxillary complete-arch prostheses were randomly divided into four groups (n = 10): MW1 - acrylic resin cured by one microwave cycle; MW2 - acrylic resin cured by two microwave cycles: WB1 - conventional acrylic resin polymerized using one curing cycle in a water bath; WB2 - conventional acrylic resin polymerized using two curing cycles in a water bath. For evaluation of dimensional stability, occlusal vertical dimension (OVD) and area of contact points were measured in two different measurement times: before and after the polymerization method. A digital caliper was used for OVD measurement. Occlusal contact registration strips were used between maxillary and mandibular dentures to measure the contact points. The images were measured using the software IpWin32, and the differences before and after the polymerization methods were calculated. The data were statistically analyzed using the one-way ANOVA and Tukey test (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. The results demonstrated significant statistical differences for OVD between different measurement times for all groups. MW1 presented the highest OVD values, while WB2 had the lowest OVD values (P<.05). No statistical differences were found for area of contact points among the groups (P=.7150). CONCLUSION. The conventional acrylic resin polymerized using two curing cycles in a water bath led to less difference in OVD of complete-arch prosthesis.
