Efficient Time Information Correction for Reusing Digital Broadcasting Contents (디지털방송 콘텐츠 재사용을 위한 효율적인 시간정보 보정 방법)

  • According to appearance of digital broadcasting media such as DTV, IPTV, DMB, and so on, the needs about digital contents have been increased. The cases reusing the producted contents happen frequently, in consideration of the production cost of digital contents and the early digital broadcasting market. In this case, the reused contents must adjust the transfer rate of the digital broadcasting system. The time information included in the contents is shifted in the adjusting process. This paper proposes the efficient method correcting the shifted time information.

  • 지식정보화의 사회적 발전에 따라 IT기술도 장소와 공간에 제약 받지 않는 이동성, 휴대성이 강조되고 있다. 이는 유비쿼터스 사회로의 급격한 진입이라는 시대적 상황과 맞물려 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에 적합한 컴퓨팅 디바이스의 등장이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 포터블기기(PMP, UMPC, MP3, 게임기)들의 기능과 콘텐츠를 조사, 분석하여 차세대 포터블 멀티미디어 시스템에서 요구되는 기능을 도출하였으며 또한 이를 기반으로 모듈화 된 포터블 멀티미디어 시스템의 구조를 설계했다. 본 연구의 결과는 점차 성숙해가고 있는 포터블 멀티미디어 시스템 산업의 하드웨어적 표준을 제시함으로써 효율적인 개발 방안을 모색할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper tries to solve the problems which previous methods have the model using smart card for protecting digital contents. This study provides a contents distribution model to protect the rights of author, distributor, and user as well as user's information by using technologies such as cryptography, DRM(Digital Right Management), access control, etc. The proposed system is evaluated as the most safety model compared with previous methods because it not only solves the problems which the previous methods have, but also protects four type of risks such as use of contents which other mobile devices download, the attack on the key to decode the message, the attack on leaking the contents, and the internal attack such as an illegal reproduction.

  • The digital contents distribution system via network provides comfortability, usability, and diversified functions to content's users. However, for the characteristic of easy access of digital contents, the copyright infringements and indiscreet contents distribution are realized in this days. In other words, any users with the authentication key can access to copyright contents with any restrictions. To solve this problems, we proposed a user authentication mechanism which prevent indiscreet access to the digital content by using user system information. Also, to provide safe distribution of digital content, we used user's unique content authentication key.

  • Digital contents such as image need both secure proving and publicly verification scheme on embedded digital watermark for contents distribution and copyright protection. Specially, we must provide publicly verification mechanism on digital watermark without revealing any of the secret information hidden on digital contents. In this paper, we review on the existing zero knowledge proofs and digital watermarking system, and propose advanced interactive zero knowledge proofs mechanism for enhancing the performance and security of watermark verification process. And it Provides a new watermark verification scheme without revealing any secret on the contents owner's copyright in formation.

  • A content recommendation according to users preferences comes up in the Internet application due to contents overwhelming. This paper newly proposes a method to predict contents preference using tags in conjunction with Content-Based Filtering. By implementing this method, this paper cleans up the contents sparsity problem in Content-Based Filtering, and shows the outstanding improvements.

  • In undeniable digital signature scheme, the signature can not be verified without the signer's cooperation. The undeniable signature scheme can be used to computerize many applications which can not be done by a conventional digital signature scheme. In this study, we propose the undeniable digital multi-signature scheme which requires many signers and designated verifier. The multi-signature can be verified only in cooperation with all signers. The proposed scheme satisfies undeniable property and it is secure against active attacks such as modification and denial of the multi-signature by signers. We also discuss practical applications such as joint copyright protection on digital contents.

  • In the era of Web 2.0, the digital contents are becoming major cultural subjects and the scope and added value of digital content technology industry keep increasing. In order to prevent thoughtless expansion of consumption oriented contents to the multimedia motion picture generation and promote the contents industry in educational, industrial or cultural aspect, educational contents should be specialized as strategic products with increased educational and entertaining meaning. As a result, this study analyzed characteristics of users regarding how educational game contents are distributed to consumers by both male and female group. Then, it extracted development factors for expansion of educational games and presented direction to educational game contents development by using educational games according to changes in users in order to secure mobile flat form contents for effective learning.

  • TV display which existed only in house started to show up out of house around us and now it found naturally its place in everywhere like street, bus, subway and elevator. It is called digital signage which showed up through digitalization of sign, that is, sign board and bulletin board. The distinction of digital sign from existing signs is that the latter one should go through physical process like removal after installation every time its contents are changed but the former one can produce its various outputs flexibly once it is installed. Also existing sign may be static image or 2 or 3 pieces of image to express simple motion while digital sign can contain multi media contents luxurious in design and motion. This paper confined the range of contents in digital signage in bus and subway. It needs to analyze characteristics of mass transportation-people of use, consumer by place and time, accommodation environment for consumer etc and arrange planned contents along with time and place. Developments of dedicated contents suitable to those digital signages will harmonize with place and time and promote the realm of digital signage which provides variety of experience to consumer and with which communication is possible and which is distinctive. Furthermore we may expect the birth of smart signage as a new media, in which fun and art are combined.

  • According to the development of the internet technology, many people can access many kind of digital contents. This approach can infringe the copyright and right owner-ship. Currently many people research the DRM(Digital Rights Management) for protect digital content after digital content downloaded. This paper propose the system that client player witch encrypted using PKI have symmetric key and CCI (copy control information), decrypt digital content witch encrypted when digital content created.
