  • In the digital business environment, digital trust has became a key element of business compete. With the Internet of Things(IoT) development, the success of businesses that participate in the world of connected devices depends on the level of digital trust consumers have in them. This paper introduced the definition and elements of digital trust, analyzed status of digital trust in IoT era, then puts forward the countermeasure of strengthening digital trust.

  • The process and change of convergence in the economy and industry with the development of digital technology and combining with new technologies is called Digital Transformation. Specifically, it refers to innovating existing businesses and services by utilizing information and communication technologies such as big data analysis, Internet of Things, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Digital transformation is changing the shape of business and has a wide impact on businesses and consumers in all industries. Among them, the big data and analytics market is emerging as one of the most important growth drivers of digital transformation. Integrating intelligent data into an existing business is one of the key tasks of digital transformation, and it is important to collect and monitor data and learn from the collected data in order to efficiently operate a data-based business. In developed countries overseas, research on new business models using various data accumulated at the level of government and private companies is being actively conducted. However, although the trade and import/export data collected in the domestic public sector is being accumulated in various types and ranges, the establishment of an analysis and utilization model is still in its infancy. Currently, we are living in an era of massive amounts of big data. We intend to discuss the value of trade big data possessed from the past to the present, and suggest a strategy to activate trade big data for trade digital transformation and a new direction for future trade big data research.

The Antecedents of Need for Self-Presentation and the Effect on Digital Item Purchase Intention in an Online Community (온라인 커뮤니티에서 자기표현욕구의 영향요인과 디지털 아이템 구매의도에 미치는 효과)

  • Lots of virtual communities and online businesses presently derive their primary sources of revenues through advertising, but nevertheless are plagued with marginal profitability though they might possess a significant user base. In the light of the need for an efficacious business model, there have been recent insights of an online community in particular reaping profits through an innovative and lucrative revenue generation method that earns by selling digital items. There have been some obvious evidences (e.g., Cyworld, SecondLife, Habo Hotel, etc.) that online communities can be profitable through their unique business model of selling digital items. However, there is lack of understanding about the motivation of purchasing digital items. This study tries to identify the main motivators of digital item purchases based on social/individual identity theory and self-presentation theory. "Digital items", otherwise known as "virtual assets", may include online avatars, accessories for the avatars, decorative ornaments like furniture, digital wallpapers, skins, background music and virtual weapons used for Internet games. These digital items are employed by users for representation and articulation in the online space, especially to create and enhance their online profiles in web pages and games. Prices for digital items typically range from a few cents to a few dollars each. Based on the theoretical framework like social identity theory and self-presentation theory, we developed the research model and proposed seven hypotheses. An analysis of 225 members of Cyworld found that digital item purchase intention in virtual world is affected by both members' need for self-presentation and need for affiliation. We also found that the need for self-presentation is significantly increased by innovativeness of members, community group norm, and community involvement. We concluded that the need for self-presentation could be a key variable for profitable business model in online community service industry. However, neither individual self-efficacy nor the need for affiliation significantly influenced the need for self-presentation which triggers purchase intention of digital items. In term of the theoretical and practical contribution, this study can be a pioneering empirical research that investigates the purchase intention of digital items based on social identity theory and self-presentation theory in the online context. Also, the findings of our study are valuable and practical for practitioners in the market who wish to adopt or improve the business model of selling digital items in an online community. From the findings, it can be seen that innovativeness of users, community group norm, and community involvement are three significant factors that influence need for self-presentation of users which ultimately leads to their intentions to buy digital items. These findings put forth that virtual community providers and online businesses selling digital items should prioritize their efforts and focus on these three factors if they want to increase the sales of these digital items and generate greater revenues. This study provides important implications for academic researchers and practitioners to understand why the community members pay money for their digital items in virtual world and how the practitioners can increase the sales of digital items in an online community. A couple of limitations of the study and future research directions are also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a strategic approach to improve firms competitive advantages by selecting main business body and business sector at the same time. In this study the strategy of an efficient business model for joint logistics is suggested by means of searching for a joint program. The methods applied to this study were literature survey, questionnaire and internet information as well as case studies on advanced domestics and foreign logistics enterprises. The research scope of this study has focused on the joint logistics of SMEs being in the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry sector. The results of this study are shown as follows ; first, in short terms, main business operating body has, second, in long terms, logistics operating enterprise has a direct effect on the joint logistics operation strategy of the DVD(Digital Video Disk) industry in Korea. The conclusion of this study shows that this method as a model of consequence to increase the joint logistics implementation successfully.

  • The main purpose of the study is to analyze the main aspects of state regulation of the banking business in the context of social and digital transformation. One of the key elements of the functioning of the economy of any country are banks that ensure the redistribution of financial resources and stimulate economic growth. However, the banking sector, like other activities, is dynamic and depends on the pace of development and forms of technological progress that affect the forms and types of information and digital technologies, as well as the globalization and remoteness of banking services. Accordingly, the need for effective implementation of the latest technologies becomes relevant, which will not only help increase consumer satisfaction with the banking product, but also ensure the development of the country's financial sector. As a result of the study, trends in the development of state regulation of the banking sector in the digital economy were identified.

  • E-Business part is activated to base on contents for supports various constomer's desire. That is, techniqueses for efficient business transaction processing are studied and Web-Based component technology such as EJB is applied. Thus, this research designed Wokeflow for efficient E-Business contents supervision and processing that apply Web-Based EJB component technology. Accordingly, 1 used web server component model EJB for handling of various contents. Components of function module can improve system development efficiency of reusability, maintenance etc.. to process various contents.

  • Managing of local government public service business is innovation strategy of local government public service business using choice and competition principle.   • The ecosystem for digital payments in India has expanded quickly during the last decade. A synthesis of technical advancements and progressive governmental laws and regulations has fuelled this expansion. Particularly, the UPI system has assisted India in transitioning from a nation heavily reliant on cash for daily transactions to one with fewer cash transactions. The study attempted to determine how Financial Inclusion (FI) through a socio-techno-ecosystem impacts digital payment systems. FI involves ensuring financial services, products, and an adequate amount of credit without discrimination against the weaker section of society. The study has established that FI impacts the UPI. The finance infrastructure thus helps to develop an ecosystem where financial access and the awareness level help people to transit to new channels of payment. We have used secondary data of 27 banks for sixteen quarters and four years, i.e., for the financial years 2016-17 to 2019-20. It is observed from the current study that the offsite_ATM plays a significant role in the value creation of the UPI. Our study implies that it will help retailers, individuals, and business houses to use UPI platforms for swift payments without hassle. Also helpful for industries that are still not digitally disrupted and industry-specific UPI transactions.
