현재와 미래 외식공간에 대한 노인의 이용행태와 요구에 관한 연구 (The Needs and Behaviors of the Elderly in Existing and Future Restaurants)

  • The world is changing drastically by digital information technology and ubiquitous networking. Meanwhile, with the demographic avalanche, South Korea officially became an 'ultra-aging society' in 2026. Simultaneously, this demographic change will also stimulate a cultural climate which facilitates the formation and dissemination of 'slow culture' from the existent urban 'fast culture' which has been weakening the retirement living. One of the fundamental connections with the slow movement appears in the cooking and dining area. With this point of view, this study aims to identify the needs and behaviors of the elderly in current restaurants and a digitally planned multi-purpose one for the future. Small group workshop was employed for this study. In order to elicit detailed information from the elderly group members, scenarios were developed. A group facilitator kept the discussion on track by asking a series of open-ended questions meant to stimulate discussion. As the results, it was revealed that the elderly were interested in digitally planned restaurant which provides one-stop service including entertainment activities, health related contents and socializing with family. Even though this study took restaurant scenarios, the ideas in them also provide holistic perspectives on the direction of marketing and planning strategies on various future environments and services.

  • 한국은 빠르게 고령사회로 변화하고 있으므로 노인들의 주거안정문제에 대비가 시급한 상황이다. 이렇게 고령화에 따른 문제의 해결을 위해서 한국정부는 공공실버주택의 공급을 추진하고 있다. 공공실버주택의 공급이 성공적으로 정착하기 위해서는 적절한 입지선정과 재무적 타당성 분석이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 지리적 정보와 인구통계정보, 사회복지비용에 대한 정보를 활용한 통합데이터베이스 구축의 필요성을 제기하였다. 또한 이들 정보를 활용하여 최적입지 및 타당성분석을 실행할 수 있는 시스템의 개념을 제시하였다.

디지틀 카메라를 이용한 치아색상 측정 (NEW EVALUATION TECHNIQUE IN TEETH COLOR USING DIGITAL CAMERA)

  • In addition to their function, there is growing interest in esthetics of restorations for teeth from fracture and loss. Because the perception of color depends on a lot of factors such as light source, object, observer and so on. It is difficult to make an objective expression. Therefore the using of mechanical equipment is recommended to exclude these variables and observer's vias. This study was carried out to evaluate the teeth color with a newly developed digital camera and to suggest a way to solve its flaws. After photo-taking and storaging the images of normal teeth into a computer, color spaces were examined with an image analysis system, Adobe Photoshop 3.04 and a statistical significance was determined between groups in term of teeth positions and ages. Results were as follow ; 1. Central incisor looked darker than lateral incisor(p<0.05), but lateral incisor and canine showed a similar lightness. 2. Central incisor showed more greenish color than lateral incisor and canine(p<0.05). 3. Canine showed higher yellowish value than central and lateral incisors(p<0.05). 4. Central incisor and canine showed no difference with aging. But in lateral incisor, teeth in fifth decade were lighter than those of third(p<0.05) and teeth in third decade were more reddish and yellowish than those of fourth decade(p<0.05).

  • 농업용 기계는 농촌의 노동인구 감소와 고령화에 따른 노동력 부족에 대응하고 높은 노동 부담과 생산비용을 줄이기 위해 매우 중요한 요소로 작용하고 있다. 최근 이러한 농업용 기계에 첨단 전자기술이 폭넓게 응용되면서 정보통신, 차세대 전지, 반도체, 무선통신, 콘텐츠, 디스플레이 등 첨단 산업과의 융합이 갈수록 증대되고 있는 산업분야로 발전하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그동안 기계식에 의존해 온 농업용 파종기에 정보통신 기술을 적용하여 신속하고 정교하며, 작업 상태의 모니터링이 가능한 ICT 융합형 파종기를 설계하였다.

지역사회 거주 노인의 주관적 연령 관련 요인 (Factors associated with Subjective Age among Community Dwelling Older Adults)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국 지역사회 거주 노인의 주관적 연령과 관련된 요인을 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구는 2017년도 노인실태조사에 참여한 65세 이상 노인 8,040명을 대상으로 이차 분석한 횡단 연구이다. 노인의 주관적 연령과 관련된 요인을 규명하기 위해 단변량 로지스틱 회귀분석에서 유의한 변수만 추출하여 다변량 로지스틱 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 성별, 학력, 거주형태, IADL 제한, 만성질환 수, 지각된 건강 상태, 우울 및 현재 경제활동 여부가 노인의 주관적 연령과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과에 근거하여 주관적 연령을 낮추기 위한 간호중재가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 노인들이 건강하고 성공적인 노후를 보내는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The aged population increasing rapidly, the population rate of over 65 years old was over 7.5% in 2000 in Korea. It means that Korea is aging society. But, the aged welfare accommodation are still insufficient and more facilities accommodating the aged should be built. This situations made a new concept of silver town of the welfare facility for the aged. The purpose of this study was to find the difference of preferences about silver town between elderly group and pre-elderly group in Chungseo province. Focused on housing type and space composition of silver town, the results of this study will provide some useful information for the development of silver town and for further studies. It is very important to refer to the preference about silver town of elderly group and pre-elderly group for planing the silver town. Main results of this study showed that silver town was the most preferable elderly housing alternative for elderly group. And silver town should be provided health care center for elderly group.

메타버스(가상·증강·혼합·확장현실)를 이용한 운동재활의 활용 방안 (Utilization Exercise Rehabilitation Using Metaverse (VR·AR·MR·XR))

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze domestic and foreign studies using virtual reality or metaverse for exercise rehabilitation in order to help the disabled or elderly patients with exercise rehabilitation, and suggest a method for using metaverse for exercise rehabilitation. Method: In this study, after analyzing and discussing various information related to the metaverse and exercise rehabilitation through electronic search of recently published papers, academic journals, books, and internet websites, the exercise rehabilitation plan using the metaverse was proposed. Results: In the case of domestic research, the diversity of virtual reality application technology for the rehabilitation of disabled and elderly patients was not secured, but recently, virtual reality or metaverse-related technologies were developed and specialized in a form suitable for exercise rehabilitation. In the case of overseas studies, it was analyzed that exercise rehabilitation using virtual reality and metaverse games for the rehabilitation of disabled and elderly patients can help improve brain, physical ability, and anti-aging by activating the body and mind. Conclusion: Smart metaverse health care is actively introduced to exercise rehabilitation, metaverse telemedicine business is applied to exercise rehabilitation programs, and digital twin games and exercise rehabilitation programs developed by metaverse related companies take into account the characteristics of disabled and elderly patients. If customized smart metaverse healthcare is used for exercise rehabilitation, it is analyzed that it can lead this field.

GS1을 활용한 빅데이터 분석 플랫폼 기반의 스마트 소화기구 모니터링 시스템 (Smart Fire Fighting Appliances Monitoring System using GS1 based on Big Data Analytics Platform)

  • This paper presents a smart firefighting appliances monitoring system based on big data analytics platform using GS1 for Smart City. Typical firefighting appliances are fire hydrant, fire extinguisher, fire alarm, sprinkler, fire engine, etc. for the fire of classes A/B/C/D/E. Among them, the dry chemical fire extinguisher have been widely supplied and 6 millions ones were replaced for the aging ones over 10 years in the past year. However, only 5% of them have been collected for recycling of chemical materials included the heavy metals of environment pollution. Therefore, we considered the trace of firefighting appliances from production to disposal for the public open service. In the paper, we suggest 1) a smart firefighting appliances system using GS1, 2) a big data analytics platform and 3) a public open service and visualization with the analyzed information, for fire extinguishers from production to disposal. It can give the information and the visualized diagrams with the analyzed data through the public open service and the free Apps.

Ball Grid Array Solder Void Inspection Using Mask R-CNN

  • The ball grid array is one of the packaging methods that used in high density printed circuit board. Solder void defects caused by voids in the solder ball during the BGA process do not directly affect the reliability of the product, but it may accelerate the aging of the device on the PCB layer or interface surface depending on its size or location. Void inspection is important because it is related in yields with products. The most important process in the optical inspection of solder void is the segmentation process of solder and void. However, there are several segmentation algorithms for the vision inspection, it is impossible to inspect all of images ideally. When X-Ray images with poor contrast and high level of noise become difficult to perform image processing for vision inspection in terms of software programming. This paper suggests the solution to deal with the suggested problem by means of using Mask R-CNN instead of digital image processing algorithm. Mask R-CNN model can be trained with images pre-processed to increase contrast or alleviate noises. With this process, it provides more efficient system about complex object segmentation than conventional system.

Multichannel Convolution Neural Network Classification for the Detection of Histological Pattern in Prostate Biopsy Images

  • The analysis of digital microscopy images plays a vital role in computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) and prognosis. The main purpose of this paper is to develop a machine learning technique to predict the histological grades in prostate biopsy. To perform a multiclass classification, an AI-based deep learning algorithm, a multichannel convolutional neural network (MCCNN) was developed by connecting layers with artificial neurons inspired by the human brain system. The histological grades that were used for the analysis are benign, grade 3, grade 4, and grade 5. The proposed approach aims to classify multiple patterns of images extracted from the whole slide image (WSI) of a prostate biopsy based on the Gleason grading system. The Multichannel Convolution Neural Network (MCCNN) model takes three input channels (Red, Green, and Blue) to extract the computational features from each channel and concatenate them for multiclass classification. Stain normalization was carried out for each histological grade to standardize the intensity and contrast level in the image. The proposed model has been trained, validated, and tested with the histopathological images and has achieved an average accuracy of 96.4%, 94.6%, and 95.1%, respectively.
