유동해석을 통한 소형 터보압축기 성능 개선 설계에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON IMPROVED DESIGN OF SMALL SIZE TURBO-COMPRESSOR USING COMPUTATIONAL FLUID ANALYSIS)

  • This study presents the design of small size turbo-compressor to increase the performance using computational fluid analysis. A three dimensional computation was conducted changing the main parameters of impeller blade and diffuser shape, respectively, and the design was performed on a basis analysis of result of that. As a result, the Improved shapes show the increase of efficiency in comparison with the existing shape. This study will be used as useful reference data to establish the design concept of the small size turbo-compressor and to improve its performance.

원심압축기의 공력소음에 관한 파라미터 연구 (A Parametric Study of Aerodynamic Noise in Centrifugal Compresso)

  • This paper describes the influence of geometric parameters on the noise generation from a centrifugal compressor. From the analysis of noise measurements, it is observed that Blade Passing Frequency noise related to the rotating impeller is more important, and it is focused on the comparison of this discrete frequency noise according to the shape change. Navier-Stokes solver is used to simulate the flow-field of the impeller and the vaned diffuser, and time-dependent pressure data are calculated and Fourier-transformed to perform the near-field noise prediction. The effects of various geometry design variables such as the gap between the impeller and the diffuser, impeller shape variations on the near-field noise distribution are investigated.

  • 본 연구에서는 반응기의 유입 확대부의 형상이 반응기 내의 유동 및 증착특성에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위하여 수평형 MOCVD 반응기에서 TMGa와 $AsH_3$로부터의 GaAs 증착에 관한 수치적 연구를 수행하였다. 두 개의 기하학적인자(확대각, 확대부 형상)가 증착률, 증착률 균일도. 유속 균일도, 압력강하에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다 웨이퍼 위에서의 증착률 균일도, 평균증착률, 유속 균일도를 고려한 결과, 직선형 확대부의 최적 확대각은 $50^{\circ}$$55^{\circ}$이며 포물선형 확대부의경우, $40^{\circ}$$45^{\circ}$이다. 또한 확대부의 확대각의 변화는 평균증착률 보다 증착률의 균일도에 큰 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있으며 직선확대부보다 포물선형의 확대부에서 더 민감하게 나타남을 알 수 있었다.

소형 원심압축기의 성능평가에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Performance Evaluation of a Small-Sized Centrifugal Compressor)

  • The performance database of small-sized centrifugal compressors is needed for the design of high performance machines and also for the verification of design tools and analysis software. An impeller is designed, manufactured and tested. The effects of several parameters on the evaluation of performance are investigated and the performance test of parallel diffuser is also carried out. The proper estimation of static pressure, total temperature and blockage at the impeller exit is important for performance evaluation. 4 method in cooperation with 3-D calculation is suggested. The measured performances are in a good agreement with the predicted results. However, there are some discrepancies in efficiency.

부패조와 모래트렌치를 이용한 소규모 오수 처리 (Small Sewage Treatment Using Septic Tank and Sand Trench)

  • This study was carried out to treat sewage using sand trench combined with septic tank process in rural areas. In order to find optimum parameters, design and operation mode was changed from Run 1 to Run 4. In order to facilitate nitrification and T-P removal, diffuser and iron plate was installed in the 3rd trench of Run 2 period. The septic tank played a role as pre-application process of sand trench system. The removal efficiencies of COD, NH$_4$-N, T-P at steady state were 94.6%, 87.9% and 54.5%, respectively. Addition of diffuser and iron plate in the 3rd trench has increased the removal efficiencies of the NIL-N and T-P. In this system, denitrification were not occurred because of the high DO.

수중폭기용 노즐형 산기관 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on the Development of Nozzle-Type Diffusers for Submersible Aeration Process)

  • Experimental study was conducted to increase the oxygen transfer efficiency of air diffusers in clean water. By measuring the bubble size from the bubbly two-phase flow visualization with several air diffusers, the size of air bubbles near the top surface of aeration tank seems to be independent on the diffuser types. Considering design parameters for the better break-up of larger bubbles around the air diffusers, advanced conceptual air diffusers using nozzle-type throat showing the higher oxygen transfer efficiencies were made.

반응표면법을 이용한 램제트 엔진 흡입구 설계인자 최적화 (Optimal Shape of a Ramjet Intake by using a Response Surface Method)

  • 전압력 회복률을 극대화시키기 위하여 램제트 엔진 흡입구 최적형상이 수치적으로 조사되었다. 각 설계인자의 설계영역에 대해 성능을 근사적으로 예측하기 위하여 반응표면법을 도입하였다. 설계인자로는 첫 번째 램프각, 목직경, 그리고 디퓨져 확대각이 선택되었다. 얻어진 반응표면의 신뢰성 검증을 위해서 ANOVA가 사용되었다. 얻어진 최적모델의 전압력 회복률은 기준모델에 비해 36% 향상되었다. 또한 디퓨져에서의 점성손실은 5% 미만인 것으로 조사되었다.

  • The effect of a scattering wall surfaces on sound diffusion can be assessed by determining the scattering and diffusion coefficients in the laboratory. However, the sound field in a concert hall including scattered reflections is different from the laboratory measurement condition. Therefore, there is a need for objective investigation of diffusion in real sound fields. In this paper, possible acoustical parameters of in-situ measurements are discussed.

SOFC-GT 혼합시스템용 원심압축기 공력설계 및 유동특성 연구 (A Study on Aerodynamic Design and Flow Characteristics of a Centrifugal Compressor for SOFC-Gas Turbine Hybrid System)

  • This study presents an aerodynamic design and numerical analysis of a centrifugal compressor in gas turbines for SOFC-gas turbine hybrid system application. Total-to-total pressure ratio of the compressor is 3.6:1 that could be used widely for small and large SOFC-gas turbine systems. The compressor consists of a centrifugal impeller and a wedge diffuser. Conceptual design and aerodynamic design with mean line analysis and quasi-3D analysis are performed, and aerodynamic parameters as well as design variables are discussed from the design results. A numerical analysis based on the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equation was performed for the flow analysis of the compressor. The results show that the centrifugal compressor designed meets the design target, and the aerodynamic parameters and results of the compressor can be used for the aerodynamic design of centrifugal compressors and the feasibility study of SOFC-gas turbine system design.

  • 1차 유동과 2차 유동이 일정 압력으로 혼합하는 초음속 이젝터의 설계 인자들에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 선정된 이젝터의 설계 인자는 1)질량유량비 2)면적비 3)1차유동의 마하수 이다. 이를 위해 이젝터 유동을 1차원으로 가정하였으며 손실이 있는 경우와 이상적인 경우에 대해 이적테의 성능을 압력비의 항으로 모사하였고 요구되는 이젝터의 수축률을 계산하였다. 또, 이젝터의 최적 설계를 위해 손실을 고려한 경우와 이상적인 경우를 비교하여 작동조건에 필요한 설계점을 도출하였다.
