난반사 표면의 3D 스캐닝을 위한 정전분말코팅 연구 (A Study on Electrostatic Powder Coating for 3D Scanning of Diffused Surfaces)

  • Using an optical 3D scanning device to collect data from a diffused reflection surface is very difficult. To solve this problem, there are many applications including a spray-type developer and silicon molds. However, using a developer can cause chemical reactions between objects and particles of the developer and uneven surfaces on the object. To overcome these problems, we suggest an electrostatic powder coating method for even coating of particles onto surfaces for collecting 3D shape data. We have developed an automatic, electrostatic powder-coating machine and performed three different experiments to compare this system with a laser interferometer and a T-scan 3D scanner. As a result, we could ascertain the various characteristics of this new method, including good sensitivity for the various surface states of the bare surface, developer, and electrostatic powder coating. Finally, we verified the outstanding scanning performance and were able to demonstrate that this method achieves quality than traditional methods.

  • 멀티터치 관련 연구는 전반사 장애 현상(FTIR: Frustrated Total Internal Reflection)의 원리를 기반으로 기존 방법을 이용하여 단지 구현하는 것이 대부분이다. 또한 멀티 터치점(Blob-Points) 검출이나 사용자 제스쳐 인식에 있어서 성능 향상을 위한 소프트웨어적 해법에 관한 연구는 드문 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 확산 투광(DI: Diffused Illumination) 방식을 기반으로 개선된 터치점 검출과 사용자 제스쳐 인식에 의한 멀티터치 테이블-탑 디스플레이를 구현한다. 제안된 방법은 실행 중인 어플리케이션 내의 객체들을 위한 동시 변형 멀티터치 명령을 지원하며, 제안한 사전 테스팅(Pre-Testing) 방법에 의해서 멀티 터치점 검출 과정에서 시스템 지연 시간의 감소가 가능하다. 구현된 멀티터치 테이블-탑 디스플레이 장치는 OSC(Open Sound Control) 프로토콜을 기반으로 하는 TUIO(Tangib1e User Interface Object) 환경에서 Flash AS3 어플리케이션을 제작하여 시뮬레이션 한 결과 최대 37% 시스템 지연 시간의 감소와 멀티터치 제스쳐 인식에서 성공적인 결과를 보였다.

  • There is no overall understanding about the road marking situation in Korean national highway nowadays. In addition road marking increases risk in traffic accidents especially while it's raining at night because of diffused reflection. So administrator has a lot of problems to maintain and make a decision about the road marking. In this paper, literature review and field investigation about the road marking are carried out from the viewpoint of road safe and the propriety in retroreflective performance of the road marking is grasped. Also, improvement methods about retroreflective performance of the road marking are proposed on the basis of the result in field investigation.

  • As the demand of large and high-resolution display panels is increased, the black light units (BLU) of the display devices play an important roles. In this study we'll deal with various defects of BLUs. Patterns of defects can be classified by the scratches, the non-uniform misprinting for the diffused reflection, the surface stains, spots and etc. Due to these distorted patterns the high-resolution and high-precision could be impeded. We'll propose the visual inspection system to detect various defects by pattern-matching.

90년대초 복식에 나타난 가벼움에 관한 고찰 (A Study On the Concept of Lightness in Fashion of the Early 1990's)

  • It has been representing the delicate changes which express new sentiments through the floating, fluid, free look with the transparent, sheer material in fashion during the early 1990's. The concept of lightness is selected to describe the phenomenon of recent fashion. The purpose of this study is to identify the distinctive characteristics of lightness as external forms and internal meaning in fashion of the early 1990's. The data were collected from fashion magazines such as American Vogue, Italian Vogue from 1987 to 1994. The characteristics of lightness of fashion in the early 1990's are as follows; The external forms are consisted of the material such as the transparent, sheer, soft material, of slim and bell silhouette which occupying the more space in bottom, of the drapery, pleats to shape the unfitted look and is identified as the open, whole, indeterminate and planar intergration form according to the category of clothing form suggested by Belong. It is also the reflection of the social changes which is getting out of the modernity. It is the results of the dominant social state which are diffused the sensual pleasures, transitoriness.

Si(111)$7{\times}7$ 표면에서 Mg 성장양상 연구 (Growth Mode Study of Mg on the Si(111)$7 {\times}7$ Surface)

  • Si(111)7 $\times$ 7 위에 Mg를 흡착시켜 표면구조의 변화를 RHEED(Reflection High Energy Electron diffraction) 와 XPS(X-ray PhotoelectronSpectroscopy)를 이용하여 연구하였다. RT ~20$0^{\circ}C$까지의 기판온도에서 증착량의 증가에 따라 표면구조는 (7$\times$7)에서 diffused (1$\times$1) 그리고 (2 3 3 $\times$2√3√3-R30$^{\circ}$) 구조로 변화하였다. 또한, 기판온도를 증가시킴에 따라 (1$\times$1), three domain(3$\times$1) 등의 구조를 볼 수 있었고, 특히 , $450^{\circ}C$의 기판온도에서는 single domain (3$\times$1) 구조를 최초로 관측하였다. 이렇게 형성된 각 구조에 대한 Mg KLL과 Si2p의 XPS peak intensity ratio를 증착량의 증가에 따라 측정하여 각기 다른 온도에서의 Mg 성장에 대한 메카니즘을 제시하였다.

자외선 수직형 LED 제작을 위한 Indium Tin Oxide 기반 반사전극 (Indium Tin Oxide Based Reflector for Vertical UV LEDs)

  • In this paper, we studied a p-type reflector based on indium tin oxide (ITO) for vertical-type ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (UV LEDs). We investigated the reflectance properties with different deposition methods. An ITO layer with a thickness of 50 nm was deposited by two different methods, sputtering and e-beam evaporation. From the measurement of the optical reflection, we obtained 70% reflectance at a wavelength of 382 nm by means of sputtering, while only 30% reflectance resulted when using the e-beam evaporation method. Also, the light output power of a $1mm{\times}1mm$ vertical chip created with the sputtering method recorded a twofold increase over a chip created with e-beam evaporation method. From the measurement of the root mean square (RMS), we obtained a RMS value 1.3 nm for the ITO layer using the sputtering method, while this value was 5.6 nm for the ITO layer when using the e-beam evaporation method. These decreases in the reflectance and light output power when using the e-beam evaporation method are thought to stem from the rough surface morphology of the ITO layer, which leads to diffused reflection and the absorption of light. However, the turn-on voltage and operation voltage of the two samples showed identical results of 2.42 V and 3.5 V, respectively. Given these results, we conclude that the two ITO layers created by different deposition methods showed no differences in the electric properties of the ohmic contact and series resistance.

차량용 사각지대 감지시스템의 개발 (Development of the Blind Spot Detecting System for Vehicle)

  • The latest vehicle yields a superior safety and reduction of driving burden by monitoring the driving state of vehicle and its environment with various sensors. To detect other vehicles and objects of the rear left and right-side blind spot area of driver, provide the information about a existence of objects inside the blind spot, and give a signal to avoid collision, this study proposes the intelligent outside rear-view mirror system. This task has substantially complicated several factors. For example, the size, geometry and features of the various vehicles which might enter the monitored zone is varied widely and therefore present various reflective characteristics. This study proposes the optimal specification and configuration of optical system and IR array sensor of blind spot detection system, and shows the results of the performance evaluation of developed system.

알바 알토 도서관 건축의 자연광 사용 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Using Natural Light in Alvar Aalto's Library)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze Alva Aalto's libraries for understanding his efficient induction of natural light. To fulfill this purpose, Alvar Aalto's thought about library and natural light are examined through his working years and building types. The comparison of his libraries on usage of natural light shows different ways of natural light induction based on different locations and programs of libraries. Similarities and differences of Alvar Aalto's library architecture have strong relationship to the usage of natural light in libraries because Alvar Aalto himself regard reading as the core function of library and the efficient use of natural light is the main key of reading. In his natural light planning, regional characteristics including environmental factors and programmatic differences act as a basic standard for natural light plan. Especially, altitude of sun and its path, seasonal features affect the induction way of natural light. While conical skylights used at Viipuri library shows the characteristics of universality in Modernism architecture, later libraries presents not only various kinds of pan-shape plan but different ways of inducing natural light in according to appropriate function. From conical skylight to monitor with curved reflection wall make it possible shed diffused light to reading space and this affects to form Alvar Aalto's organic architecture. As a result, using natural light in Alvar Aalto's library architecture act as the core of forming library concepts and their development.

PERL (passivated emitter and rear locally-diffused cell) 방식을 이용한 고효율 Si 태양전지의 제작 및 특성 (Fabrication and Characteristics of High Efficiency Silicon PERL (passivated emitter and rear locally-diffused cell) Solar Cells)

  • 본 연구에서는 고효율 단결정 실리콘 태양전지의 제작방법인 PERL방식을 사용하여 비저항이 $0.1{\sim}2{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$을 갖는 (100)면의 p형실리콘 기판으로 $n^+/p/p^+$ 접합의 태양전지를 제작하였다. 이를 위해 웨이퍼의 절단, KOH을 사용한 역피라미드 모양으로의 에칭, 인과붕소의 도핑, 반사방지막과 전극의 증착 및 열처리 등의 공정을 행하였다. 이때 소자표면의 광학적인 특성과 도핑농도가 저항값에 미치는 영향을 조사하고, Silvaco로 $n^+$도핑에 대한 확산 깊이와 도핑농도를 시뮬레이션하여 측정치와 비교하였다. AM(air mass) 1.5 조건하에서 입사되는 빛의 세기가 $100\;mW/cm^2$인 경우의 단락전류는 43 mA, 개방전압은 0.6 V, 그리고 충실도는 0.62였다. 이때 제작된 태양전지의 광전변환효율은 16%였다.
