  • This paper aims to examine the moderate effects of Client's Organizational Character on the relationships between Consulting Service Quality and Business Performance. To accomplish these purposes, The questionaries of 192 were inspected to the CEO or PM having consulting experience at the companies in Daegu and kyoung-buk. First, Consulting Service Quality presented a meaningful result(+) with the Business Performance. Second, Consulting Service Quality have differential influence on Business Performance by Client' s Organizational Character.

  • Logistics companies are worrying about securing of differential competitiveness so as to be competitive companies in keen logistics market. The ground is how users are satisfied by sell-established service system to respond not only economic feasibility of logistics costs but also diversity and advancement of logistics needs. The competitiveness of logistics companies is also caused by customer satisfaction of service and only companies finding and satisfying customer needs continuously may be more competitive. For the competitiveness, it's the most important to analyze demands of current and potential customers and their pursuing value properly. Therefore, this researcher grasped PSL for online logistics service users with 5-point Likert-scale and quality-level decision method that consider the weighted value based on Kano model, measured customer's potential Demand for service through PCDI, and suggested methodology for deciding the priority of the improvement with loss function of Taguchi.

Charisma: Trimble's Modernized Differential GPS Reference Station and Integrity Monitor Software

  • Around 2002, the United States Coast Guard (USCG) identified a need to re-capitalize their Reference Station (RS) and Integrity Monitor (IM) equipment used in the Nationwide Differential Global Position System (NDGPS). Commercially available off-the-shelf differential RS and IM equipment lacked the open architecture required to support long-term goals that include future system improvements such as use of new civil frequencies on L2 and L5 and realization of a higher rate NDGPS beacon data channel intended to support RTK. The first step in preparing for this future NDGPS was to port current RTCM SC-104 compatible RS and IM functionality onto an open architecture PC-based platform. Trimble's product Charisma is a PC-based RS and IM software designed to meet these USCG goals. In fact USCG engineers provided key designs and design insights throughout the development. We cannot overstate the contribution of the USCG engineers. Fundamental requirements for this effort were that it be sufficiently flexible in hardware and software design to support fluid growth and exploitation of new signals and technologies as they become available, yet remain backward compatible with legacy user receivers and existing site hardware and system architecture. These fundamental goals placed an implicit adaptability requirement on the design of the replacement RS and IM. Additionally, project engineers were to remain focused on sustaining the high level of differential GPS service that 1.5 million legacy users have come to depend on. This paper will present new hardware and software (i.e., Trimble's Charisma software) architecture for the next generation NDGPS RS and IM. This innovative approach to engineering on an open architecture PC-based platform allows the system to continue to fulfill legacy NDGPS system requirements and allows the USCG and others to pursue a scalable hardware re-capitalization strategy. We will use the USCG's recapitalization project to explain the essential role of the Charisma software.

  • When the GPS system was come to the operation, the U.S Coast Guard initiated development of differential GPS system based on a marine radiobeacon. It has rapidly been spread out to many countries. DGPS equals to P(Y) code in a positioning accuracy. USA has recently determined to expand the coverage of DGPS to inland in order to install a nationwide DGPS chain. Korea is under processing for improving the DGPS as a nationwide positioning system. Before expanding the service area inside Korea, we need to verify the relation between the field strength and DGPS accuracy for the service area. The Japanese DGPS data is received in the southern Part of the Korean peninsula. The Korean DGPS was not a complete system, so we selected the Japanese DGPS data as a model for the study. This paper investigate accuracy and reliability characteristics of RBN/DGPS over the effective service area. Through the experimental and simulation study, we obtained the reliable and stable positioning accuracy in the southern part of the Korean peninsula. In addition, the characteristics of RBN/DGPS were examined in the land over the effective coverage from Japan. The results would be a basic reference to research the RBN/NDGPS in Korea.

  • We propose a dynamic traffic management model which uses adaptive priority reassignment algorithm to deliver service differentiation in home networks, and implement adaptive priority reassignment algorithm using FPGA. The proposed architecture is designed to handle home network traffic without the need for signaling protocol. We categorize home network traffic into three kinds of traffic class: control data traffic class, the Internet data and non-real-time data traffic class, and multimedia data traffic class (include non-real-time and real-time multimedia data traffic). To support differential service about these kinds of traffic class, we designed and implemented a traffic management framework that dynamically change each traffic class priority depending on bandwidth utilization of each traffic class.

  • Diff-Serv is a mechanism by which network service providers can offer differing levels of network service to different traffic, in so providing quality of service (QoS) to their customers. Because this mechanism has been deployed just for fixed hosts with the Token Bucket mechanism, DiffServ have been suggested can not satisfy the mobility service or the differential serrlce for Individual traffics. In this paper, we suggest WFQ mechanism for traffic conditioner and scheduling method for monitoring the AggF(Aggregate Flow) which will be controlled in edge nodes and border routers. So it will control traffic rate dynamically and suggest efficient usability of bandwidth.

  • The Context-Aware system is the core technology in the Ubiquitous Computing Environment. Recently, the practical use of a sensor is magnified and the application fields of it are gradually extended in order to collect necessary context information. Context-Aware service integrates the context information which is collected by sensors, and then provides, a suitable service to a user through the process of analysis and reasoning. This service is studied in a variety of fields such as marketing, medical treatment, education and so on. In this paper, we analyze the method of recognizing surrounding context and the result of the awareness by using differential and structural property of multiple valued logic function; propose the model that provides appropriate service depending on the change of surrounding contort; confirm the applicability of the Context-aware system by showing the example of application.

  • On November 16th 2004, SK Telecom Co., Ltd. launched 'MelOn' , an ubiquitous music service, into the first time in the world. It, new business model in Korea, was a great success in domestic music industry. Its key success factors are not only differential features of service but also the superiority of technical know-how, customer-oriented spirit, and marketing mix activities compared to many competitors. The case shows how MelOn developed and then introduces what on-line music service is identifying the key success factors and presenting visible outcomes.   • In this paper, we investigate the methods to improve the position accuracy using DGNSS(Differential Global Navigation Satellite System). Then we configure the real-time DGNSS environment with use of GPS and MSAS as SBAS(Satellite Based Augmentation System) currently being in service by Japan. And we verify the improvement of position accuracy and the continuity of GPS correction data through the realtime DGNSS test in Joongang line, Kyungbu line, Honam line.

  • Pseudolite (PL) is a kind of signal generator, which transmits GPS-like signal at the ground. However our own made PL is different from a GPS satellite in clock accuracy. GPS satellites are synchronized by use of high precision atomic clocks. But because our PLs use low cost temperature controlled oscillators (TCXO), so it is very difficult to synchronize them. Hence, we should install reference station and use Differential GPS (DGPS) algorithm to calculate user position. By use of this method, we already developed indoor navigation system a few years ago.
