Attitude of librarian's Job satisfaction was shown differently by individual characteristic, personality, and cognitive structure in the same circumstance. This means that it is related to the personal psychological difference and subjective thinking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the psychological difference of libraians, especially their Cognitive style and to know what acts the difference and effect in Job satisfaction. The methodology of the study is a suvey of 160 librarians in 11 academic libraries at Pusan. The results are as fellows. In General, they were satisfied with ph than the normal level ane the most dissatisfied with promotion. They had no difference of Cognitive style with a demographic characteristics, had a similar difference with job satisfation, and the older and the higher position peoples were satisfied with thou ph. Cognitive style firly effect at the ph satisfation. Field dependence librarians are more satisfied with their job than field independence librarians. Field independence librarians are oppropriate to technical Services and field dependence librarians are more oppropriate for public services. In conclusion, they demonstrated that it Is very important to consider each psychological difference with cognitive style.
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Dietary behavior and life stress in adolescence is related to growth rate and learning ability. This study was conducted to identify the relations between dietary habits, dietary attitude nutritional knowledge and life stress among high school girls in Korea and China. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The subjects of this study were 221 high school girls in Korea and 227 high school girls in China. The questionnaire were about dietary habits, dietary attitude, nutritional knowledge and life stress. RESULTS: The dietary habits of chinese girls were healthier than those of Korean girls with a significant difference (P < .001). There was no significant difference in dietary attitude between Korean girls and Chinese girls. Korean girls had more nutritional knowledge than Chinese girls with a significant difference (P < .001). Korean girls did less physical exercise but spent more time watching TV and using PCs, compared to Chinese girls. Korean girls' degree of confidence in nutrition information that they had learned and their performance in their real lives were low. Also, they had a low level of awareness of the need for nutritional education. There was no significant difference in life stress between the two groups. Dietary habits had a significantly negative correlation with life stress in both Korean and Chinese girls (P < .01, P < .001). As for Chinese students, dietary attitude had a negative correlation with life stress with a significant difference (P < .05). As for Korean girls, nutritional knowledge had a negative correlation with life stress with a significant difference (P < .05), which means as life stress was less, dietary habits were better. CONCLUSIONS: This study shows that effective nutrition education programs should include components that encourage application of learned nutrition information to real life, increase physical exercise and reduce life stress.
This study was implemented for 84 students of dental hygiene to show the correlation between dental caries experience and improved caries activity test. Dental caries experience for the sample groups was examined and stimulative saliva secreted for 5 minutes was collected into the tube to check saliva secretion rate. Dentocult LB test was executed to observe Lactobacilli colonies after 96 hour cultivation of culture slides moistened with stimulative saliva. Dentocult SM test(screening strip, site strip) was done to measure SM colonies distribution after 48 hour cultivation of culture strips applied with collected saliva and dental plaque respectively, and salivary buffering capacity was checked by means of Dentobuff strip kit. Following conclusions are obtained after examining the relation between Dentocult LB, Dentocult SM, Dentobuff strip test results and DMFT index, salivary secretion rate. 1. Showed no significant difference between Dentocult LB test results and DMFT index, salivary secretion rate. 2. Showed no significant difference between Dentocult SM(screening strip) test results and DMFT index, salivary secretion rate. 3. Showed significant difference between Dentocult SM(site strip) test results and DMFT index(pE0.05), but showed no significant difference between Dentocult SM(site strip) test results and salivary secretion rate. 4. Showed no significant difference between Dentobuff strip test results and DMFT index, but showed a very wide difference between Dentobuff strip test results and salivary secretion rate(pE0.01).
This study analyzed difference in national pension receipt on life satisfaction and successful aging in people aged 60 or over, and then analyzed influence factors on them. As a result, The difference of receipt affected life satisfaction and successful aging. This means a large receipt is related to high life satisfaction and successful aging. The regression analysis result also showed the difference of receipt was significant in life satisfaction, but wasn't significant in successful aging. National pension receipt can increase life satisfaction by providing financial security, but for successful aging, social supports like good use of spare time are needed. Also, currently satisfaction with national pension receipt was low and receipt wasn't enough to stabilize their lives. Therefore, a political plan for improving receipt satisfaction and living a stable life through good use of spare time will be required in future.

Background: This study aims to examine the effects of sling exercise and common exercise on the pain level of various body parts. Methods: This study divided the subjects into a sling-exercise group and a common exercise group to for each group across the measurement times after practicing exercises twice per week for 8 weeks (total 16times). To compare the means of the experimental group and the control group on each variable, the ANOVA for repeated measure was used and if there was any significant difference across the measurement times, post-hoc comparisons were conducted for the difference. The T-tests for group difference according to exercise type on each of the variables showed the results as follows. Results: The results of this study suggest that there were significant difference in pain in shoulder pain, but no significant difference could be found in the Thoracic pain & Knee joint pain. There was no significant difference to distinguish between the sling exercise and the common exercise. Conclusions: Currently the sling exercise is not spread out widely in Korea, so that the recognition and studies of the sling exercise is still lacking. Hence, this study can hopefully facilitate popularity of the sling exercise and systematic prospect studies on it in the near future.
Purpose : The research which sees width for a wide gain and loss is about brush qualitative management of the child about dental hygiene of the child is investigated the brush qualitative actual condition. In the knowledge-based society, a nation's national power depends on IT industry. Also, literacy and application of IT technology can make a person live in comfortable circumstances. Currently, a few outstanding people lead entire IT industry and academy. In this sense, it is necessary to identify and nurture the gifted children in IT as early as we can. The purpose of this paper is to investigate gender difference of the gifted students in IT. Especially we are interested in their grade difference so that we select programming ability and logical thinking ability as academic performance evaluation. For this purpose, the gifted children in gifted science education center attached to a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area are selected. Their grades for 8 years were collected and analyzed. The analysis results show that there is no significant difference between male students and female students for programming ability and logical thinking ability. This also means that there is no academic difference between male and female students for the gifted children in IT.

An experimental study has been performed on vortex pairing under fundamental and subharmonic forcing with controlled initial phase differences through hot-wire measurements and a multi-smoke wire flow visualization. For the range of St$_{D}$ < 0.6, vortex pairing was controlled by means of fundamental and subharmonic forcing with varying initial phase differences. Much larger mixing rate was achieved by two-frequency forcing with a proper phase difference than one frequency forcing. As St$_{D}$ decreased, vortex pairing was limited to a narrow region of the initial phase difference between two disturbances and higher amplitudes of the fundamental and its subharmonic at the nozzle exit were required for more stable pairing. As the amplitude of the subharmonic at the nozzle exit increased for fixed St$_{D}$ and fundamental amplitude, the distribution of the subharmonic mode against the variation of the initial phase difference changed from a sine function form into a cusp-like form. Thus, vortex pairing can be controlled more precisely for the former case. For St$_{D}$ > 0.6, non-pairing advection of vortices due to the improper phase difference was sometimes observed in several fundamental forcing amplitudes when only the fundamental was applied. However, when its subharmonic was added, vortex pairing readily occurred. As the initial amplitude of this subharmonic increased, the position of vortex pairing moved upstream. This was thought to be due to the fact that the variation of the initial phase difference between the fundamental and its subharmonic has less effects on vortex pairing in the region of fundamental-only vortex pairing.pairing.
This study was purposed to find out the difference of the accounting of practical cost between the ABC system and the traditional costing system applied in a hospital, to verified general effect of ABC. Methods: This case study deals with the method of calculation, the cost information that is produced at K hospital in Busan. To examine ABC system and traditional costing system, applying them to the clinical pathology, radiology, physics in K hospital. Results: As a result of costing analysis, it is showed maximum difference of 50% between ABC and traditional cost. compared in revenue center, it occurs the difference of 15% of them. considering the result, it is confirmed that ABC could be used as a means to offer more precise information. therefore, ABC makes possible to produce precise costing information and grasp the driver of cost, and it is possible to reduce cost effectively. Conclusion: ABC provide six benefits: (1) more accurate of service delivered (2) inproved pricing and contracting strategies (3) improved management decision making capability (4) greater ease of determining relevant costs (5) reduced nonvalue added costs.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of a workbook program on percieved stress levels, maternal role confidence and breastfeeding practices of mothers of premature infants. Method: This study employed a quasi-experimental non-equivalent pre-and-post test to compare the two groups. Data was collected from 32 subjects from March 10. to September 5, 2003 at an NICU located in S. city. In the sample, fifteen mothers were in the experimental group and seventeen were in the control group. A workbook program was provided twice during a period from two-three days after the baby's admission to one week after the first intervention. The instruments used were the PSS and self confidence scale. Data was analyzed by means of frequency, SD, $x^2-test$, Fisher's exact test, Mann-Whitney test, and the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Result: There was a significant difference in perceived stress levels between the experimental and control group (U=2.366, p=.018). There was not a significant difference in maternal role confidence between the two groups (U=1.002, p=.316). There was a significant difference in breastfeeding practice between the two groups ($x^2=4.910$, p=.035). Conclusion: It is concluded that a program using a workbook has a positive effect on decreasing the perceived stress level and increasing breastfeeding practice.
