Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze the naming of 'A diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun six meridian patterns and provisions' and to suggest an alternative naming. Methods : 1. The meaning of 'Six meridian(六經)' was reviewed on existing theories and Shanghanlun provisions. 2. Comparing the name of diangostic system with the term in 'Korean Standard Classification of Diseases-6(KCD-6)' and term in 'WHO international standard terminologies on traditional medicine in the western pacific region' was done. Results : 'Six meridian' is customary used in the Shagnhanlun study but its meaning is not match with original Shanghanlun system and could possibly make misunderstanding. So 'Disease pattern identification' is suitable than 'Six meridian' for this diagnostic system. Conclusions : This study suggests that using 'A disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions.'is more appropriate instead of using the name of the six meridian diagnostic system.

Objective : This case report show the effect of Yonggyechulgam-tang on Panic disorder. Methods : The patient was diagnosed Panic disorder based on DSM-5. According to Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system, the patient treated with Yonggyechulgam-tang for 4 months. The level of panic disorder was evaluated by VAS and BAI. Results : After the treatment, VAS and BAI decreased $10{\rightarrow}2$, $42{\rightarrow}4$ each. Conclusions : Yonggyechulgam-tang improved the symptoms of Panic disorder on this study. Although Yonggyechulgam-tang is not an usual treatment for Panic disorder, we could prescribe the medicine due to Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system.

Objective : This case report show the effect of Dahuanghuanglianxiexin-tang on VulvoVaginal Candidiasis. Methods : According to disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on shanghanlun provisions, The author diagnosed Taeyang-byung kyeolhyung. The symptoms of VulvoVaginal Candidiasis were worsen when the patient had long sitting position and digestive problems. Therefore the patient treated with Dahuanghuanglianxiexin-tang for 3 months. The severity of Candida Vaginitis was evaluated by patient's subjective statements(Vaginal pruritus, Vaginal secretion, Burning sensation). Results : After the treatment, Level of syptoms decreased from Severe to Trace and Eliminated. Conclusions : Dahuanghuanglianxiexin-tang improved the symptoms of VulvoVaginal Candidiasis on this study. Although Dahuanghuanglianxiexin-tang is not an usual treatment for VulvoVaginal Candidiasis, the author could prescribe the medicine due to shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system.

Objective : This case report presents the effect of Soshiho-tang on Atopic Dermatitis. The patient was diagnosed with Yangmyung-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system, we dianosed the patient as Yangmyung-byung and he had trouble getting out of bed and nighttime itch. The patient was treated with Soshiho-tang. We evaluated the results of treatment by Objective SCORAD Index and pictures. Results : After the treatment, Objective SCORAD Index decreased from 61 to 21.5. And he became to have no trouble in getting up and also nighttime itch vanished. Conclusions : This case report sowed and effectiveness of using Soshiho-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on Atopic Dermatitis.

Objective : This case report presents the effect of Daecheongryong-tang on Impulse Control Disorder. The patient was diagnosed with Taeyang-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system, we diagnosed the patient as Taeyang-byung and she has been suffering from impulse control disorder. The patient was treated with Daecheongryong-tang. And it was provided for 60 days.The changing symptom was estimated by Global Assessment of Functioning and Visual Analogue Scale. Results : After the treatment, the patient's functioning got better from 65 to 85 on GAF. And the degree of pain was reduced from 10 to 2 on VAS. Conclusions :This case study shows an effectiveness of using Daecheongryong-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on Impulse Control Disorder.

Objective : This study reports the effect of Gamchosasim-tang on atopic dermatitis. Methods : According to shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system, We diagnosed Taeyang-byung kyeolhyung. The symptoms of atopic dermatitis were worsen when the patient had bad sleeping habits by stress(心煩不得安). So the patient treated with Gamchosasim-tang for 3 months. The severity of atopic dermatitis was evaluated by SCORAD index, EASI and pictures. Results : After the treatment, SCORAD index and EASI decreased $75.9{\rightarrow}27.9$, $19{\rightarrow}5.7$ each. And sleeping habits also improved. Conclusions : Gamchosasim-tang improved the symptoms of atopic dermatitis on this study. Although Gamchosasim-tang is not an usual treatment for atopic dermatitis, we could prescribe the medicine due to shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system. And Further research would be needed the relation between bad sleeping habits cased by stress(心煩不得安) and Gamchosasim-tang.
