유럽의 새로운 의료기기 규제제도 MDR (New Medical Device Regulations (MDR) in Europe)

  • 2017년 새롭게 제정된 유럽의 새 의료기기 규제법인 MDR은 기존의 CE 적합성 인증을 받은 의료기기 제품들이 새로운 CE의 MDR규정에 맞춰 2024년 5월까지 인증을 받도록 요구하고 있다. 새로운 MDR 적합성 요구사항은 기존보다 강화된 의료기기 임상평가 및 임상 조사를 요구하며 또한 문서화된 시판후 임상 추적 자료의 제출을 요구한다. 한국의 의료기기 업체들도 새로운 MDR 요구사항을 맞춰 적합인정을 받아야 하나, 새로우 규정을 정확히 이해하지 못하여 산업계의 혼란은 계속 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국과 미국의 의료기기 관련 규정을 알아보고, 또한유럽의 의료기기법인 MDR을 기존의 유럽 의료기기 지침인 MDD와 비교함으로써 유럽 의료기기법의 요구 사항들을 이해하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

  • 이동 통신 기기의 발달과 확산에 따라 이동 통신을 이용한 인터넷의 사용의 요구가 증가하고 있다. 따라서 인터넷을 이동 통신기기에 적용하는 새로운 서비스가 요구되고 있다. 이에 많은 이동 통신 장치들을 위한 새로운 방법의 인터넷 접근 기술을 연구하고 있으며 WML과 WAP을 이용한 이동 통신 장치와 인터넷과의 연결이 모색되고 있다. 그러나 이동 통신 장치의 작은 디스플레이는 인터넷 사용에 제약점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 음성 지원을 지원하는 WML 브라우져를 설계하여 제약점을 극복하고자 한다.

ZnO-나노와이어/PVDF 복합체를 압전 활성층으로 한 나노발전기 소자 (Nanogenerator Device Based on Piezoelectric Active Layer of ZnO-Nanowires/PVDF Composite)

  • ZnO nanowires were grown by hydrothermal synthesis process and piezoelectric poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) was then coated on top of the ZnO-nanowires by spray-coating technique. The composite layer of ZnO-nanowires/PVDF was applied to an energy harvesting device based on piezoelectric-conversion mechanism. A defined mechanical force was given to the nanogenerator device to evaluate their electric power generation characteristics, where output current density and voltage were examined. Electric power generation property of the ZnO-nanowires/PVDF based nanogenerator device was compared to that of the nanogenerator device with ZnO-nanowires as single active layer. Effect of the ZnO-nanowires on improvement of power generation was discussed to examine its feasibility for the nanogenerator device.

  • Most of flated scanners and digital cameras in prepress process utilize CCD technology. Device calibration and characterization process is needed to transform the device dependent color to the device independent color. ICC profiles for digital input devices encapsulated information relating the device values to CIELAB or CIEXYZ coordinates. The main purposes of this article is to evaluate some of the transformation methods based on ICC proposed device profiles and to propose optimal color transformation method for accurate color imaging in printing process.

오프셋 마스크를 이용하지 않는 새로운 자기 정합 폴리 실리콘 박막 트랜지스터 (A novel self-aligned offset gated polysilicon thin film transistor without an additional offset mask)

  • We have proposed a novel self-aligned offset gated polysilicon TFTs device without an offset mask in order to reduce a leakage current and suppress a kink effect. The photolithographic process steps of the new TFTs device are identical to those of conventional non-offset structure TFTs and an additional mask to fabricate an offset structure is not required in our device due to the self-aligned process. The new device has demonstrated a lower leakage current and a better ON/OFF current ratio compared with the conventional non-offset device. The new TFT device also exhibits a considerable reduction of the kink effect because a very thin film TFT devices may be easily fabricated due to the elimination of contact over-etch problem.

베이지안 추정법에 의한 소자의 수명 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Lifetime Prediction of Device by the Method of Bayesian Estimate)

  • 본 논문은 일반적으로 채택하고 있는 소자(device)의 수명분포인 와이블(Weibull) 분포를 적용하여 소자의 가속(accelerated) 수명 테스트에서 얻은 데이터, 즉 소자의 고정 시간을 이용하여 소자의 수명을 예측(prediction)하는데 필요한 보수(parameter)들을 추정 하는데 베이지안(Bayesian) 추정법을 이용하였다. 베이지안 추정법에서 모수를 추정하기 위해서는 사전정보가 있어야 하는데 본 논문에서는 사전정보 없이 현재의 정보만을 이용하여 모수를 추정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 스트레스가 온도인 경우, Arrhenius 모델을 적용하여 소자의 정상동작 상태에서의 수명을 예측 하는데 선형 추정을 하였다.

공동주택에서의 화재 경보음 전달특성에 관한 연구 (An Study on the Sound Attenuation of Audible Fire Alarm Device in Apartment Buildings)

  • In many fire emergencies, the auditory fire alarm signals are very important to save the occupant's life. But as the sound insulation of building elements has been improved, it is more difficult for occupant to recognize the fire alarm signals when the audible fire alarm worked. This is the first study to show the sound attenuation of audible fire alarm device in apartments. We measured and analyzed the sound attenuation level in seven units. The result showed that it was not sufficient to detect the sound from the fire alarm device in bedrooms. Whether the fire alarm device worked or not, the differences of sound level in bedrooms were below 1$\sim$10dBA. To give the minimum sound level 60dBA in bedrooms, the proper sound levels from alarm device installed in livingrooms were suggested using computer simulation.

  • With the development of the internet of things, sensor and device are can be applied to various scenario. Overall improving of the dependability index of internet of things is the ultimate goal. And reliability aims to increase the success rate of internet of things service delivery. Many studies about internet of things system have been made on the system to assess a dependability for providing reliable service to user, but it has difficult to reflect the user context for evaluating the device reliability. Also, most do not consider the availability of content information. In this paper, it proposed dependable device searching system in the internet of things environment. This system evaluates device dependability based on device status and measured data. Through the proposed system, it can be provided reliable context information for user-centric service.

Design of small impact test device for concrete panels subject to high speed collision

  • Five key items were used to create an economical and physically small impact test device for concrete panels subject to high speed collision: an air-compressive system, carbon steel pipe, solenoid valve, carrier and carrier-blocking, and velocity measurement device. The impact test device developed can launch a 20 mm steel spherical projectile at over 200 m/s with measured impact and/or residual velocity. Purpose for development was to conduct preliminary materials tests, prior to large-scale collision experiments. In this paper, the design process of the small impact test device was discussed in detail.

섬유 전자온라인 상거래를 위한 Real Industry Color(RIC) Device의 적용 및 평가에 관한 연구 (Application and Evaluation of Real Industry Color(RIC) Device for On-line E-trading of Textile Products)

  • PET fabrics of various luster, fiber thickness(denier), and weaving structure were dyed at the same conditions and determined their grey scale by using naked eyes, computer color matching (CCM) system, and real industry color (RIC) device to evaluate the effectiveness of RIC device developed in this study. As for the luster of fabrics, bright PET showed more differences when compared with semi-dull and full-dull. PET in both naked eyes and RIC device since the RIC device provide the real image of fabrics to observers. As for the fiber thickness, the results of naked eyes and RIC device were very similar while the result of CCM showed lower color grade. Finally, as for the weaving structures of PET fabrics, all the test results by naked eyes, CCM, and RIC device showed almost same grey scales. In these regards, the RIC device developed in this study was comparable to naked eyes by providing the real image of fabrics, however it was difficult to compare the very bright colors such as yellow and fiber thickness(denier) and weaving structure of fabrics.
