Graphene is a 2-D sheet of $sp^2$-bonded carbon arranged in a honeycomb lattice. This material has attracted major interest, and there are many ongoing efforts in developing graphene devices because of its high charge mobility and crystal quality. Therefore clear understanding of the substrate effect and mechanism of synthesis of graphene is important for potential applications and device fabrication of graphene. In a published paper in J. Phys. Chem. C (2008), the effect of substrate on the atomic/electronic structures of graphene is negligible for graphene made by mechanical cleavage. However, nobody shows the interaction between Ni substrate and graphene. Therefore, we have studied this interaction. In order to studying these effect between graphene and Ni substrate, We have observed graphene synthesized on Ni substrate and graphene transferred on $SiO_2$/Si substrate through Raman spectroscopy. Because Raman spectroscopy has historically been used to probe structural and electronic characteristics of graphite materials, providing useful information on the defects (D-band), in-plane vibration of sp2 carbon atoms (G-band), as well as the stacking orders (2D-band), we selected this as analysis tool. In our study, we could not observe the doping effect between graphene and Ni substrate or between graphene and $SiO_2$/Si substrate because the shift of G band in Raman spectrum was not occurred by charge transfer. We could noticed that the bonding force between graphene and Ni substrate is more strong than Van de Waals force which is the interaction between graphene and $SiO_2$/Si. Furthermore, the synthesized graphene on Ni substrate was in compressive strain. This phenomenon was observed by 2D band blue-shift in Raman spectrum. And, we consider that the graphene is incommensurate growth with Ni polycrystalline substrate.
In this paper, we attempted to provide the bases of effective educational programs for fostering ICT competencies of gifted students in science. For this purpose, we tried to answer the questions like 'What are the ICT core-competence for gifted students in science?' and 'How can we educate those competencies effectively?' We started by reviewing existing studies on ICT competencies for talented people in future society and then adopted one[6] as the basis for further validation. We tried to work with as many G/T experts as possible, and decided to use the online survey methodology because the experts are scattered all over the country. The survey was sent to the corresponding person who is in charge of G/T education in each area, and then e-mailed to G/T experts in that area. Through these procedures, three hundred four(304) G/T experts from all around the country participated in this survey. The results showed the followings: (1) G/T experts agreed with the importance and necessity of ICT competencies for gifted students in science; (2) G/T experts agreed with the validity of three core ICT competencies, which are 'knowledge and skills competence, creativity competence, and characteristic competence,' for gifted students in science; (3) G/T experts agreed with the validity of educational goals, which are suggested for fostering each ICT core-competence of gifted students in science; and (4) G/T experts regarded 'product-oriented education' and 'ICT device-oriented education' as important and effective types of education programs for fostering ICT competencies of gifted students in science.
Current indoor intrusion detection and location tracking methods have the weakness in seamless operations in tracking the objective because the object must possess a communicating device and the limitation of the single cell size (approximate $100cm{\times}100cm$) exits. Also, the utilization of CCTV technologies show the shortcomings in tracking when the object disappear the area where the CCTV is not installed or illumination is not enough for capturing the scene (e.g. where the context-awarded system is not installed or low illumination presents). Therefore, in this paper we present an improved in-door tracking system based on sensor networks. Such system is built on a simulated scenario and enables us to detect and extend the area of surveillance as well as actively responding the emergency situation. Through simulated studies, we have demonstrated that the proposed system is capable of supplementing the shortcomings of signal cutting, and of estimating the location of the moving object. We expect the study will improve the better analysis of the intruder behavior, the more effective prevention and flexible response to various emergency situations.
As PDA, IMT-2000, and e-Book are developed and popular in these days, the number of users who use these products has been increasing. However, available memory size of these machines is still smaller than that of desktop PCs. In these products, TrueType fonts have been increased in demand because the number of users who want to use good quality fonts has increased, and TrueType fonts are of great use in Windows CE products. However, TrueType fonts take a large portion of available device memory, considering the small memory sizes of mobile devices. Therefore, it is required to reduce the size of TrueType fonts. In this paper, two-phase compression techniques are presented for the purpose of reducing the sire of hangul bitmap data embedded in TrueType fonts. In the first step, each character in bitmap is divided into initial consonant, medial vowel, and final consonant, respectively, then the character is recomposed into the composite bitmap. In the second phase, if any two consonants or vowels are determined to be the same, one of them is removed. The TrueType embedded bitmaps in Hangeul Wanseong (pre-composed) and Hangul Johab (pre-combined) are used in compression. By using our compression techniques, the compression rates of embedded bitmap data for TrueType fonts can be reduced around 35% in Wanseong font, and 7% in Johab font. Consequently, the compression rate of total TrueType Wanseong font is about 9.26%.
It is important to realize automation services by communicating in IoT with humans, objects & objects, and forming a common network. People used web like the most powerful network way to sharing things and communication. Therefore the efficiency method communication between each device and the web in IoT could be different from ones. The best method for high quality software product in web applications is software reuse ; Modules, classes, patterns, frameworks, and business components are reusable elements of various perspectives. Components is plugged with others through well-defined interfaces, which can overcome the operation and complexity of application development. A web-based distributed environment for IoT applications is a standard architecture use information collected from various devices for developing and using applications. For that reason, the network management which manages the constituent resources for the best service control in IoT application is required as a sub-layer support service in most applications as well as individual applications. In this paper, we measure to develop a network management system based not only by components but on heterogeneous internetworks. For procedure this, we clarify a component architecture for classifying and classify also the component needed in the IOT and network domain or order the type of real network management system.
In realizing ubiquitous computing, techniques of efficiently using the limited resource at client such as mobile devices are required. With a mobile device with limited amount of memory, the techniques of XML stream query processing should be employed to process queries over a large volume of XML data. Recently, several techniques were proposed which fragment XML documents into XML fragments and stream them for query processing at client. During query processing, there could be great difference in resource usage (query processing time and memory usage) depending on how the source XML documents are fragmented. As such, an efficient fragmentation technique is needed. In this paper, we propose an XML fragmentation technique whereby resource efficiency in query processing at client could be enhanced. For this, we first present a cost model of query processing over XML fragment stream. Then, we propose an algorithm for resource-efficient XML fragmentation. Through implementation and experiments, we showed that our fragmentation technique outperformed previous techniques both in processing time and memory usage. The contribution of this paper is to have made the techniques of query processing over XML fragment stream more feasible for practical use.

Recently, because the portable devices became popular, it is easily to see that each person carries more than just one portable device and the use of the smartphone stretches as time goes by. After the smartphone has propagated rapidly, the total usage of the smartphone applications has also increased. But still, each application store has a different platform to develop and to apply an application. The application store is divided into two big markets, the Android and the Apple. So the developers have to develop their application by using these two different platforms. Developing into two different platforms almost makes a double development cost. And for the other platforms, the weakness is, which still have a small market breadth like Bada is not about the cost, but about drawing the proper developers for the given platform application development. The web application is rising up as the solution to solve these problems, reducing the cost and time in developing applications for every platform. For web applications don't need to make a vassal relationship with application markets platform. Which makes it possible for an application to operate properly in every portable devices and reduces the time and cost in developing. Therefore, all of the application markets could be united into one big market through a protocol which will connect each web applications market. But, still there is no standard for the web application store and no current web application store is possible to interlock with other web application stores. In this paper, we are trying to suggest a protocol by developing a prototype and prove that this protocol can supplement the current weakness.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to suggest the direction of the Healthy Village project for rural residents in accordance with the prolonged COVID-19 by investigating the digital environment for major health problems, the role of a health leader, necessary projects, and non-face-to-face projects for Healthy Village members in the COVID-19 epidemic. Methods: Telephone interview surveys were conducted with 585 residents from November 30, 2020 to December 21, 2020. Results: Health problems perceived by residents were in the order of concerns about infection (48.5%), depression (32.5%), difficulties in using medical services (9.4%), and lack of exercise (7.7%). The role of the health committee in the COVID-19 situation was "encouraging people to follow quarantine rules" with 91.3%. As a necessary health village project, there was a high demand for the provision of health products and mental health projects. 17.9% said that there is a computer or smart device connected to the Internet in their home, and 42.2% said that there is someone in the village who can easily get help if there is a problem in accessing and using Internet information. 36.9% were able to watch videos, and 22.2% were able to use the Internet through public facilities. Conclusion: In a public health crisis, where the provision of public health and medical services to rural residents is not smooth, it is necessary to manage health and quarantine through health leaders in the village, and it is required to establish a digital environment infrastructure that can conduct community participatory health village projects in a non-face-to-face environment.
When video composes mise-en-scene during the performance, it reflects the aspect of contemporary image culture, where the individual as creator joins in the image culture through the device of cell phone and computer remediating the former video technology. It also closely related with the contemporary theatre culture in which 1960's and 1970's video art was weaved into the contemporary performance theatre. With these cultural background, theatre practitioners regarded media-friendly mise-en-scene as an alternative facing the cultural landscape the linear representational narrative did not correspond to the present culture. Nonetheless, it can not be ignored that video in the performance theatre is remediating its historical function: to criticize the social reality. to enrich the aesthetic or emotional reality. I focused video in the performance theatre could feature the object with the image by realizing the realtime relay, emphasizing the situation within the frame, and strengthening the reality by alluding the object as a gesutre. So I explored its two historical manuel. First, video recorded the spot, communicated the information, and arose the audience's recognition of the object to its critical function. Second, video in performance theatre could redistribute perceptual way according to the editing method like as close up, slow motion, multiple perspective, montage and collage, and transformation of the image to the aesthetic function. Reminding the historical function of video in contemporary performance theatre, I analyzed two shows, Schaubuhne's Hamlet and Lenea de Sombra's Amarillo which were introduced to Korean audiences during the 2010 Seoul Theatre Olympics. It is known to us that Ostermeir found real social reality as a text and made the play the context. In this, he used video as a vehicle to penetrate the social reality through the hero's perspective. It is also noteworthy that Ostermeir understood Hamlet's dilemma as these days' young generation's propensity. They delayed action while being involved in image culture. Besides his use of video in the piece revitalized the aesthetic function of video by hypermedial perceptual method. Amarillo combined documentary theatre method with installation, physical theatre, and video relay on the spot, and activated aesthetic function with the intermediality, its interacting co-relationship between the media. In this performance theatre, video has recorded and pursued the absent presence of the real people who died or lost in the desert. At the same time it fantasized the emotional aspect of the people at the moment of their death, which would be opaque or non prominent otherwise. As a conclusion, I found the video in contemporary performance theatre visualized the rupture between the media and perform their intermediality. It attempted to disturb the transparent immediacy to invoke the spectator's perception to the theatrical situation, to open its emotional and spiritual aspect, and to remind the realities as with Schaubuhne's Hamlet and Lenea de Sombra's Amarillo.
Church archives are the evidential instruments to remember church activity and important information aggregate which has administrative, legal, financial, historical, faithful value as the collective memory of church community. So it must be managed necessarily and the management orders are based on the Bible. The western churches which have a correct understanding about the importance of church records and management order have taken multilateral endeavor to create, manage church archives systematically. On the other hand, korean churches don't have the records management systems. Therefore, Records created in individual church are mostly managed unsystematically and exist as 'backlogs', finally, they are destructed without reasonable formalities. In those problems, the purpose of this study is to offer the way of records classification and disposition instrument with recognition that records management should be done from the time of creation or previous to it. As a concrete device for them, I tried to embody the function-based classification method and disposal schedule. I prefer the function-based classification and disposal schedule to the organization and function-based classification to present stable classification and disposal schedule, as we can say the best feature of the modern organization is multilateral and also churches have same aspect. For this study, I applied DIRKS(Designing and Implementing Recordkeeping Systems) manual which National Archives of Australia provide and guidelines in ICA/IRMT series to construct the theory of the function-based classification in individual churches. Through them, it was possible to present a model for preliminary investigation, analysis of business activity, records survey, disposal schedule. And I took an example of 'Myong Sung Presbyterian Church' which belong to 'The Presbyterian church in Korea'. I explained in detail codifying process and results of preliminary investigation in 'Myong Sung Presbyterian Church', analysis of business activity based on it, process of presenting the function-based classification and disposal schedule got from all those steps. For establishing disposal schedule, I planned 'General Disposal Schedule' and 'Agency Disposal Schedule' which categorized 'general function' and 'agency function' of an agency, according to DIRKS in Australia and ICA/IRMT. And for estimation of disposal date I had a thorough grasp of important records category presented in 'Constitution of General Assembly', interview to know the importance of tasks, and added examples of disposal schedule in western church archives. This study has significance that it was intended to embody 'the function-based classification' and 'disposal schedule' suitable for individual church, applying DIRKS in Australia and ICA/IRMT on absence of the theory or example which tried to present the function-based classification and disposal schedule for individual church. Also it is meaningful to present a model that can classify and disposal real records according to the function in individual church which has no recognition or way about records management.
