  • The distributed power conversion LED driver circuit using parasitic inductance is proposed in this paper. while the conventional LED driver circuit is composed of the large size devices and heatsinks, the proposed circuit can be realized with the small sized no heatsink based. since the processing power can be effectively distributed. Also by using the wire parasitic inductance of the LED string, the proposed circuit can be implemented without external magnetic device. As a result, the proposed circuit which features the small size and volume con be realized even without LED driver module(LDM) board. since, all the device can be attached to the existing LED array Module(LAM) board. Therefore, it features that cost savings and volume reduction of circuit. To confirm the validity of the proposed circuit, theoretical analysis and experimental results from a distributed power conversion LED driver circuit prototype are presented.

  • This paper presents expansible driver manager that is easy to upgrade each surveillance device linkage in synthetic circumstantial judgement system. Unlike conventional surveillance systems that use fixed surveillance device and provide finite sensing data, a proposed system extends devices that not only existing but also newly develop, additional. This driver manager collects datas of standardized type from a driver of new device that developed based on common interface through configuration. And then, that transmits datas gathered to synthetic circumstantial judgement part according defined tags.

  • 본 논문에서는 Windows Embedded CE의 스트림 인터페이스 드라이버(Stream Interlace Driver)를 개발하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. Windows Embedded CE 디바이스가 부팅되면서 스트림 인터페이스 드라이버는 디바이스 매니저에 의해 메모리로 로프(Load)되고 디바이스가 꺼질 때 메모리로부터 언로드(Unload)된다. 디바인스 드라이버를 변경하여 다시 적용한 후 결과를 확인하고자 할 때 OS 바이너리 이미지를 새로 생성한 후 이미지를 다시 다운로드 하거나 드라이버를 플랫폼 빌더에서 등록한 후 해당 디바이스를 재 부팅하고 Kernel Interlace Layer(KITL)를 사용하여 그 결과를 확인할 수 있다. OS 바이너리를 새로 만드는 경우 이미지 생성과 다운로드 시간이 많이 소요되고, KITL를 사용하는 경우 매번 부팅 하는 과정을 반복해야 하기 때문에 시간이 더 소요된다. 본 논문에서는 데스크탑에서 Remote API를 이용하고 Stream Device Driver를 디바이스에 전달한 후 그것을 Remote API를 사용하여 로드하고 언로드하는 구조를 제안한다.

  • Haptic device is regarded as the human machine interface technology for easier, more accurate, and intuitive operation. The purpose of this study is to define driver's affection on the haptic device in terms of its design factor : the color of haptic lighting as independent factor. This paper is studied to improve the cognitive ability of existing vehicle haptic device used by only a tactile feedback. On the color feedback usability evaluation, the lmino haptic device is used by adding color feedback to the existing vehicle haptic device. The emotional factor that driver has on the haptic device is extracted by the sensibility analysis. As a result, it is possible to suggest the design direction that satisfies the driver.

  • This paper describes an embedded system to put a SoC actuator IP in motion and linux drivers. The If that a embedded linux among embedded OS is ported is implemented as linux driver. The actuator IP is controlled by application programming. To make users use this easily, a QT is ported on the system. Application program can operate the actuator IP device driver on TFT LCD.

  • Applications running under embedded systems require various device drivers designed for different types and versions of the OS to manage resources effectively. In this paper, an automated device driver generator system which can generate the device drivers to be used in newer versions the target OS is proposed. In the proposed system, the structures of device drivers of specific OS are designed in the templates and stored in a library, and the target device drivers are generated by adding codes to the stored templates. Once device drivers are generated, they are registered into the kernel. The experimental results show that data transfer time has been slightly increased when compared against manually created drivers for TFT-LCD driver, USB interface keyboard/mouse driver, and AC'97 controller drivers. The code size for the generated drivers after compilation has also been increased slightly when compared with manually designed device drivers.

  • TECA(Terminal Cabin) has train information, fault display, maintenance function and training function for driver, as sub-device of Seoul-Pusan Express train's on-board computerized device. Concerning KTX train's driving, signal driving is required for high speed driving, and it is true that we have difficulty in troubleshooting and acquisition of basic information through long train and one-man driving. Therefore, rapid and correct processing about various information and TECA device for maintenance are indispensable for its utilization. But there is not study example in hardware, maintenance about this device and device development according to new requirements. Therefore, this study will help understanding of driver assistance terminal device's maintenance performance development, describing TECA's basic functions necessary for device development and its requirements. Accordingly, I suppose that this thesis will be utilized to complete specification, necessary for new driver assistance terminal device development.

  • 본 논문에서는 정형기법을 이용한 리눅스 디바이스 드라이버 개발에 대한 내용을 다룬다. Device Driver 는 Reactive system에 속하는 대표적인 경우이다. 또한 Reactive system을 효과적으로 명세하고 검증하기 위한 정형기법 도구로 SCADE가 있다. 본 논문에서는 SCADE를 이용하여 실제 Linux device driver중 하나를 설정하여 이를 그 툴로 명세하고 검증한 후 구현한 후 발생한 여러 문제점을 통하여 실제 정형기법이 Linux device driver에 개발에 사용될 수 있는지를 논의한다.

Integrated Sliding-Mode Sensorless Driver with Pre-driver and Current Sensing Circuit for Accurate Speed Control of PMSM

  • This paper proposes a fully sensorless driver for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) integrated with a digital motor controller and an analog pre-driver, including sensing circuits and estimators. In the motor controller, a position estimator estimates the back electromotive force and rotor position using a sliding-mode observer. In the pre-driver, drivers for the power devices are designed with a level shifter and isolation technique. In addition, a current sensing circuit measures a three-phase current. All of these circuits are integrated in a single chip such that the driver achieves control of the speed with high accuracy. Using an IC fabricated using a $0.18{\mu}m$ BCDMOS process, the performance was verified experimentally. The driver showed stable operation in spite of the variation in speed and load, a similar efficiency near 1% compared to a commercial driver, a low speed error of about 0.1%, and therefore good performance for the PMSM drive.
