The purposes of this study are to analysis correlations of teachers' developments, organizational conflicts, and school organizational efficiency, and to test the influences of teachers' developments and organizational conflicts on school organizational efficiency. The data were collected from 240 elementary school teachers in Busan. Pearson's correlation analysis among sub-factors and stepwised multiple regression analysis were applied. The research findings are as follows: First, most of the sub-factors of teachers' developments, organizational conflict, and organizational efficiency had statistically significant correlations, showing positive correlation between sub-factors of teachers' developments and organizational efficiency and negative correlation between sub-factors of organizational conflicts and organizational efficiency. Second, through stepwised multiple regression analysis at the significance level of 5%, 'conflicts against administrator' was the most significant predictor with 31.4% explanation of the variance of organizational efficiency. These results suggest the necessity of training to promote teachers' developments and administrators' leadership.

This study aims to suggest the applied zoning system for preventing reckless developments due to individual industrial facility construction. According to the types of reckless developments which has been found in Hwasung, the applied zoning system including 4 kinds of districts can be proposed. Collective Inducement District can be designated to where many industrial facilities have already existed with poor infrastructure, and the other districts such as Residential Area Protection District, Reservoir-Around and Agricultural Area Protection District, or Landscape Protection District may be designated to the sites where reckless developments due to individual industrial facility construction may happen. This zoning system seems to be used as a guideline of new zoning of revised NLUPL(National Land Use and Plan Law) after the execution.

This study examined the efficacy of development control in the monitoring of building developments in Kenya, a case study of Kisii Town. It focused on the extent to which the 1968 Building Code was enforced by the County Government of Kisii in an attempt to promote quality assurance. The target population comprised 7,430 residential developments from where a sample size of 364 was proportionately and randomly drawn. Research findings indicated that 39% of developers were unaware that their developments should have been inspected during construction. Similarly, awareness of building inspection significantly predicted if developers issued Notices of Inspection to the planning authority to facilitate inspections. Consequently, developers who were unaware that their building constructions required inspection were 99.9% less likely to issue such notices. Moreover, developers who did not obtain development permission were correspondingly 99.9% less likely to issue Inspection Notices. As a result, those who did not issue Notices of Inspection were 99.8% less likely to have their buildings inspected during construction due to lack of records indicating when such constructions had commenced. The study concludes that although the County Government of Kisii is lawfully mandated to monitor building developments in Kisii Town, the function is not well executed. This gap affords developers with an opportunity of not conforming to the approved building plans.

It is reported about the recent developments of powder metallurgy technologies in Japan. In this several years, we cannot make no progress in the amount of powder metallurgy parts production. In order to expand the markets, it is necessary to understand the market needs, and promote technical developments to satisfy the needs which include Cost Reduction, Weight Reduction, High Performance and Environmental Friendliness. The key words of developments to meet these needs are as follows, High Productivity Net-shape High Strength High Machinability High Wear-resistance Low Friction High Magnetic Properties High Heat Properties Light Weight. It is reported some examples corresponding with every key words.

Offshore of Sakhalin Island is one of potential oil and gas development fields in Russia. American and Japanese companies are actively participating in the developments. They plan to export the produced oil and gas to East Asia including Korea, Japan and China. So far, offshore oil and gas field developments are mainly concentrated in the Russian Arctic area such as Barents Sea, Kara Sea and Tinman-Pechora Sea. In this article, the projects under development on the Sakhalin Shelf are reviewed and the environmental conditions in this area are summarized. At the end, the future prospects of the Sakhalin developments are reviewed.

In recent years, active developments have taken place in Southeast Asia in various aspects of deep foundations. Some of these developments are reviewed in this Paper. These include techniques of behaviourial analysis such as Chin's Plot and Balasubramaniam's Pull-out Test. Also included are recent advances in small size piles, large bored piles and caisson foundations. The performance of and the experience gained in some of these foundations are highlighted.
