실시간 인포그래픽을 위한 웹 기반의 시뮬레이션 프레임워크 설계 (Design of Web-Based Simulation Framework for Real-Time Infographics)

  • IoT 환경은 다양한 형태의 센서들에 의하여 서비스 규모가 결정된다. 다양한 센서의 정보를 중계하기 위한 센서 게이트웨이는 대표적인 미들웨어 시스템이며, 데이터와 그래픽을 이용하여 정보를 도시하는 인포그래픽은 실시간 정보를 효율적으로 전시하기위한 클라이언트 시스템이다. 대량의 정보를 효율적으로 전시하기 위한 실시간 인포그래픽을 개발하기 위하여 IoT 환경과 유사한 테스트 베드가 필요하다. 기존의 네트워크 시스템 개발 시 사용되던 테스트 도구들은 주로 단위 기능 테스트 및 성능 위주의 테스트에 적합하도록 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 인포그래픽 개발에 필요한 의미 있는 다양한 정보를 생성 할 수 있는 웹 기반의 시뮬레이션 프레임워크를 제안하고, 기존의 네트워크 성능 테스트 도구들과의 테스트 기능 비교를 통하여 제안하는 시스템의 기능을 평가한다.

음향방출기법을 이용한 PC기반 위치표정시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Development of PC-Based Source Location System using Acoustic Emission Technique)

  • 구조물의 안전성평가와 관련하여 비파괴평가 방법 중에서 음향방출 (acoustic emission, AE)기법에 의한 비파괴적 결함 발생 검출 기법은 다른 기법에 비해 비교적 새로운 평가기술로서 구조물의 이상 유무를 조기에 진단하고 주기적으로 감시할 수 있는 온-라인 모니터링에 적합하다. 그러나 한편, 국내에서는 아직까지 이에 대한 체계적인 연구가 미비한 실정이며, 대부분 값비싼 외국 시스템을 도입하여 사용하고 있는 실정이다 뿐 만 아니라 기존의 음향방출 시스템은 장치의 특성상 시스템이 매우 복잡하고 가격이 고가인 관계로 다양한 산업분야에서 실제 현장에 적용하기가 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 음향방출 시스템이 가지고 있던 불필요한 낭비적인 요소들을 제거하고 실제 산업현장에 부합하는 위치표정 시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 한편, 기존의 AE 시스템들은 위치표정을 위한 신호분석이 난해할 뿐만 아니라 박판 구조물의 경우는 위치표정이 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 시간-주파수 해석에 널리 사용되고 있는 웨이블릿 기법을 이용하여 보다 정확한 위치표정을 진단하는 기법을 수행하였다.

  • The Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has mainly been used for making butt joints in Al alloys. Development of FSW would expand the number of applications. The FSW is a relatively solid-state joining process. This study possibility of a welding between C1020 and Al6063 by means of FSW has fundamentally clarified. The primary process parameters, such as a rotating speed, rotating direction of tool and off-set of pin periphery from materials interface were optimize, respectively.

재가노인의 낙상위험요인 지식 측정도구 개발 (Development of a Knowledge Scale of Fall Risk Factors for Community-dwelling Older Adults)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to develop a knowledge scale of risk factors for fall among community-dwelling older adults. Further, the validity and reliability of the scale was developed. Methods: A preliminary scale was developed through content validity by five experts and targeted subjects using the CVI (Content Validity Index). Following the establishment of content validity, the scale was used with 359 community-dwelling older adults to further establish both validity and reliability of the scale. Specifically, construct validity using known-group comparison technique, and reliability using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ were established. Results: After content validity testing, 44 preliminary items were selected. Construct validity was established by known group-comparison, in which scores between the fall and no fall groups were compared. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of the final scale was .83. Conclusion: Reliability and validity of the scale were confirmed. This tool may be used for measuring knowledge of fall risk factor for the community-dwelling older adults.

원격 로봇용 카메라 자동추적시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Camera Autotracking System for Telemanipulator)

  • This paper addresses the design procedure and testing result of a servo driven pan/tilt device which is capable of tracking arbitrary movement of a specified target object. In order to achieve real-time acquisition of feedback signal, a 2 degree-of freedom non-contact type displacement follower has been employed in stead of vision camera. The performance of the designed system is tested for different target velocities and control gains. The test result shows the satisfactory performance to be adopted as an effective tool for visual transfer in the context of teleoperation.

  • Pantograph, which collects current from cartenary system, is one of the important parts of high-speed train. Kinematic analysis is one of the key technologies for pantograph design and includes joint trajectories, reaction forces, and the required moment of main shaft calculations. The kinematic analysis, however, is very complex and time-consuming process. In this study PC based pantograph kinematic analysis software using graphical user interface tool was developed for the easy evaluations of kinematic characteristics necessary in pantograph design process.

유한요소해석과 다구찌 방법에 의한 디스크 캘리퍼 씰 홈의 형상 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Shape Optimization for Seal Groove of Disc Caliper using Finite Element Method and Taguchi's Method)

  • A typical disk brake system consists of caliper housing, piston, seal and two pads etc. The configuration of seal groove, dimension of piston and seal, and seal material properties are important ones for brake performance, as these affect the retraction of piston. The rubber seal is designed to perform dual functions of sealing the brake oil at brake-applied and retracting the caliper piston at brake-released. In this paper, the seal stress is analyzed using Finite Element Method and experiment is conducted by Taguchi's Method. We attempt to quantify the critical design factors in the seal groove and evaluate their impact on some of brake performance factors. The investigation obtained from this study can not only enhance the seal groove design optimization, but also reduce product prototype testing and development time.

Design and Development of an Advanced Real-Time Satellite Simulator

  • An advanced real-time satellite simulator (ARTSS) has been developed to support the ground operations activities of the ETRI satellite control system, such as testing of the system facilities, validation of flight control procedures, verification of satellite commands as well as training of the ground operators. The design of ARTSS is based on the top-down approach and makes use of a modular programming to ensure flexibility in modification and expansion of the system. Graphics-based monitoring and control facilities enhance the satellite simulation environment. The software spacecraft model in ARTSS simulates the characteristics of a geostationary communication satellite using a momentum bias three-axis stabilization control technique. The system can be also interfaced with a hardware payload subsystem such as Ku-band communication transponder to enhance the simulator capability. Therefore, ARTSS is a high fidelity satellite simulation tool that can be used on low-cost desk top computers. In this paper, we describe the design features, the simulation models and the real-time operating functions of the simulator.

  • Electronic Speckle Pattern for quantitative evaluation of a impact defect inside of composite material plate are described. The impact on composite material makes inside delamination which is difficult to detect visual inspection and ultrasonic testing due to non-homeogenous structure. This paper proposes the quantitative evaluation technique of defects under real impact. Artificial defects are designed inside of composite plate for development of inspection technique and real defects under impact are inspected and compared with results of visual inspection.

  • The aluminum die-casting technique has been widely used to manufacture a rotor in motor industry because of its highly productivity, even though it sometime causes the various type of defects in the rotor, such as shrinkage, cavity, blow holes etc. which results in the decrease of the efficiency of system. Therefore the development of reliable technique to detect the flaws in the rotor is strongly needed not only to control quality assurance but to improve its efficiency. In this study, the wide variety of ultrasonic techniques have been applied to detect the flaws in the rotor and then to discuss the detectibility of the flaw and the applicability for NDE tool in the aluminum die-casting rotor.
