  • This paper describes an attempt to develop a new truss model for reinforced concrete beams failing in shear based on a rational behavioral model. The key idea incorporated with truss model is the internal force state factor which is able to express global state of internal force flow in cracked reinforced concrete beams subjected to shear and bending. A new truss model using internal force state factor may provide a comprehensive result of shear strength in reinforced concrete beams without web reinforcement.

  • This study's purpose is to promote the development of CT industry by analizing the causal relationship between technology factor and commercialization of Tech. in CT SMEs and Ventures. The result is that Only technology experience accumulation among technical factors(technology develpoment cost, technology experience accumulation, technology concentration, technical expertise) has a significant effect on commercialization success or failure and non-technical factors have not a significant effect on.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for assessing Korean mother's child rearing attitudes. The study attempted to explore dimensionality of maternal attitudes and formulated conceptual framwork. The items of maternal behaviour scale were tested on 300 mothers of 4th∼6th grade elementary school children living in urban areas. By the method of reliability analysis and factor analysis, 43 items were finally selected for the scale. The reliability of the new scale was ranged from .57 to .80. The construct validity of the scale was supported by the results of factor analysis.

  • A propulsion system apparatus is needed for a railroad vehicle to test and estimate propulsion performance. The electrical inertia simulator to facilitate the development and testing of propulsion systems, is presented in this paper. It is based on a vector-controlled Induction motor drive supplied from the AC mains through a double PWM converter that provides desirable features such as hi-directional power folw, nearly unity power factor and low harmonic factor at the Ac mains. A theoretical analysis is first presented, followed by a detailed simulation study to assess the overall system performance under dynamic conditions.

  • This paper is fundamental study to develop ceiling materials, using the properties of Zeolite, stone dust and sludge for the purpose of prevention of environmental pollution and reuse of industrial wastes. According to latin square method, We estimated to the significant level ad optimum level for a significant factor, and investigated to the significant degree to extend each factor for required capacity. Thus, we investigated for required capacity in ceiling material such as, compressive and bending strength, absorptivity and thermal conductivity.

  • This paper deals with the design of the electronic ballast for high pressure sodium lamp, which consists of the ignitor and the resonant converter for driving the lamp. Also it contains PFC(Power Factor Controller) to improve such as power factor, low distortion etc. In this paper, we design the electronic ballast for the 150 watt high pressure sodium lamp.

  • In this paper, a control algorthm suitable for multi-objective control is proposed based on the orthogonal array which is normally used in statics and industrial engineering. And a newly defined Nthcertainty factor is suggested, which can effectively exclude the less confident rule. The Nth-certainty factor is defined by the F-values of the ANOVA(analysis of variance) table. It is shown that the algorithm can be successfully adopted to the design of controller for an active magnetic bearing system.

  • An approximate Bayes criterion for multivariate Behrens-Fisher problem is proposed and examined. Development of the criterion involves derivation of approximate Bayes factor using the imaginary training sample approach introduced by Speigelhalter and Smith (1982). The criterion is designed to develop a Bayesian test, so that it provides an alternative test to other tests based upon asymptotic sampling theory (such as the tests suggested by Bennett(1951), James(1954) and Yao(1965). For the derived criterion, numerical studies demonstrate routine application and give comparisons with the classical tests.
