  • This study is intended to figure out marketing strategies of women clothing brands which are remarkably preferred and recognized among Chinese women in their twenties by analyzing and comparing the features of products between Chinese fashion brands and Korean brands. This study result is follow as: 1. As the result of women fashion brands in China, it became certain that the differentiation policy of each brand and the strategy of development design reflected the needs of Chinese consumers in 20s were preferred in Chinese fashion market. 2. As the result of comparing and analysing the strategy of Korean brands' clothing product entered China market, some of them reflected well Chinese women' inclination who are in their twenties. Therefore with the proper positioning and the strategy of actual place, those Korean brands are prominently preferred. However others can not be the leading brands because of supplying inharmonious basic-style product with the preference of Chinese women in 20s.

  • With the rapid development of clean energy, photovoltaic (PV) generation has been utilized in the harmonic compensation of power systems. This paper presents a novel multi-function PV micro-inverter with three stages (pseudo-two-stage). It can inject active power and compensate harmonic currents in the power grid at the same time. In order to keep the micro-inverter working under the maximum allowable output power, an optimized capacity limitation strategy is presented. Moreover, the harmonic compensation can be adjusted according to the customized requirements of power quality. Additionally, a phase shedding strategy in the DC/DC stage is introduced to improve the efficiency of parallel Boost converters in a wide range. Compared with existing capacity limitation methods, the proposed strategy shows better performance and energy efficiency. Simulations and experiments verify the feasibility of the micro-inverter and the effectiveness of the strategy.

  • Purpose - The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of the European Union's (EU) focus on innovation and consumption, after the EU Eastern enlargement, on trade, investment, and technology cooperation patterns of Korea to formulate a pan-European marketing strategy, with a special emphasis on the mobile phone industry. Research design, data, and methodology - This study compares the intersection of the pivotal areas in the markets in the "post-new normal" era to identify outlets to commercialize development and innovation in this region. The EU would like to realize potential trade and investment opportunities with the Central European Economic Community (CEEC) from this enlargement. Results - The study analysis suggests a positive impact for innovation and consumption from the EU Eastern enlargement on trade, investment, and technology cooperation patterns of Korea to formulate a pan-European marketing strategy with a special emphasis on the mobile phone industry or motorcar e-strategy. Conclusions - Due to the evolving close interdependencies some hubs have emerged between regional, small markets and the central, larger ones such as Germany and France.

  • In this paper, a new competition strategy for learning vector quantization is proposed. The simple competitive strategy used for learning vector quantization moves the winning prototype which is the closest to the newly given data pattern. We propose a new learning strategy based on k-nearest neighbor prototypes as the winning prototypes. The selection of several prototypes as the winning prototypes guarantees that the updating process occurs more frequently. The design is illustrated with the aid of numeric examples that provide a detailed insight into the performance of the proposed learning strategy.

  • The purpose of this study is finding the right direction to make the best career development systems for the employees in hotel industry in Korea. The condition of the best career development system is satisfaction from companies and employees each other. However, making that condition is not easy for every industry as well as for hotel industry over the world. In this respect, we can find the three directions of career development for applying the systems to the employees like strategy direction oriented, development direction oriented and employee satisfaction oriented. Among those directions, we have to find the best direction for individual satisfaction and organizational company satisfaction. This study will help to make and execute the plan for career development in real hotel industry fields, especially for the policy of human resources management. In this study, we can see the importance of employees' satisfaction for managing a hotel. The increasing productivity of the hotel eventually will be made from career development through employee satisfaction.

  • This study aims to establish a development strategy for higher education in Indonesia's marine and fisheries sector and to present a direction for international development cooperation through evaluating policies and current problems related to higher education in marine and fisheries sector. To achieve the goals of human resources development in marine and fisheries sector, Indonesian government needs to secure non-salary expenditures to strengthen support for areas directly related to the effects of education, such as improving educational facilities, expanding scholarships, and so on. Education institution needs to develop effective teaching methods and systematic practice-based curriculum that reflects the needs of the local fishermen community and fisheries industry. In addition, it is necessary to support the supply of manpower throughout the fisheries industry. Fisheries industry needs to stop relying on the government or education institutions to secure excellent human resources and actively participate and cooperate in the education field so that excellent human resources can flow into the industry. Based on this strategy, international development cooperation for human resources development in Indonesia's marine and fisheries sector should focus on qualitative rather than quantitative expansion of higher education institutions.

  • Objectives: To identify changes in the subjects and methods of Herbal Medicine Consumption Survey, and analyze trend of the key results Methods: The population, methods, and items of the basic reports of all Surveys on Consumption of Herbal Medicine(HM) were organized in a time-series manner. The analysis items were trend in the purchase of standardized HM; consumption value share, and price of prepared HM; type of herbal dispensary; and awareness of HM policy in Koran Medicine(KM) institutions. Results: The price of HM preparations showed an upward trend in 2011, 2014, and 2017 surveys, and decreased in the 2020 survey. However, despite this recent decrease, the 2021 survey also saw the highest proportion of HM users reporting that price of herbal decoction is expensive. Furthermore, the demand for expanded coverage of herbal decoction was the greatest for the expansion of health insurance benefits. Efforts such as adjusting the number of covered diseases and the cost of health insurance coverage would be necessary. Regarding decoction dispensaries the proportion of HM hospitals using only extramural herbal dispensaries increased. Finally, the consumption of HM and the size of the HM industry has continued to expand due to the large-scale branding of KM institutions and the expansion of health insurance coverage. Conclusion: Future surveys must standardize and unify the items for the time-series continuity and compare the results with government statistics reports on HM to increase reliability. Moreover, specialized survey items may be developed for KM, to establish a better and efficient distribution system for domestic HMs.

  • By highlighting the efficiencies gained from regional specialization, the cluster concept has distracted economic development officials from their traditional role of diversifying regional and local economies. Clustering was a viable strategy for much of the 18 years following its original appearance in the literature. Now, two events cast doubt on the continued viability of cluster-based specialization. First, the digital convergence has blurred the boundaries that once separated one industry from another. An industry cluster strategy becomes difficult when the industry cannot be defined. Second, many cluster initiatives fail. Combining literature search with the system-theoretic notions of efficiency and redundancy, we find many factors moderate cluster success. This implies regions facing uncertain success in their cluster-building efforts should thoroughly understand their unique circumstances and build upon them. Regions with successful clusters are advised to aim for multiple related clusters or superclusters.
