  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between children's aggression, their anger regulation strategy and anger regulation degree. Using an aggression scale, a total of 428 elementary school children in grades 5 and 6 were examined and partitioned into two groups; -the high aggression group (n = 107) and low aggression group (n = 109). They rated the degree to which they felt anger in anger events. They selected one strategy used to regulate anger. Then they rated the degree to which they felt anger after using the selected regulation strategy. The results of this study showed that the high aggression group responded by high degree of anger, low degree of anger regulation and used more affect diffusion strategy. Regardless of children's aggression source, support pursuit strategy was confirmed to be the most effective remedial method while children regulated anger in anger events.

  • This study is to confirm whether SMEs can manage production facilities well and receive help in establishing new product development strategies if they actively engage in external networks. And under this influence, it is to check whether sales growth and financial performance improve. After reviewing the literature and theory, an empirical analysis using the questionnaire method was conducted to verify the research model. To verify statistical significance, programs 'SPSS 20.0' and 'Smart PLS 2.0' were used. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the higher the level of technical cooperation external networking of SMEs, the higher the level of management of their production facilities and new product development strategy was confirmed. Second, it was confirmed that the higher the level of production facility management and new product development strategy of SMEs, the higher their financial performance. Third, among the external networking levels of SMEs, the factor that has the greatest influence on management level of production facilities was identified as degree of participation in human network activities to secure technology. And the factor that had the greatest influence on level of new product development strategy was identified as participation in joint research and commissioned research.

  • With the purpose of long-range planning toward local/regional sustainable development, it is desired to avoid unconditional industrialization and expansion and to build an eco-oriented development strategy considering site-specific characteristics of the environment. This paper thus aims at the elaboration of a system dynamics model of a locality/region so as to understand inherent dynamics of sustainable development and to assess the effectiveness of such an eco-oriented strategy. The model thus consists of several positive and negative feedback loops that accelerate or restrict local/regional economic growth within a system boundary incorporating the environment, economy, and society. The model is moreover applied to the assessment of the effectiveness of the development plan recently established in Damyang in JeollaNamdo, Korea. It is regarded in this case to be effective for population immigration and economic prosperity to give priority to restore the bamboo ecosystem and nourish a series of eco-friendly industries based on the bamboo items developed recently. It is also to be positive to sustainable development since it enables to maintain high quality of the environment from the outset of their development steps.

  • Islands are vulnerable to outer influences due to their small size and isolation. Tourism often becomes an important development focus because of their unique culture and nature. Jeju-do, as well as other islands, has experienced such development mostly led by central government, and the regional change was understood as the outcome of global influences without much concern with the local response or strategy. Thus, vulnerability has been the key theme in island development studies. This paper examines the current state of island development as an outcome of locals' alternating strategy in which the islanders accept the central government's plan, but express their demands to modify them. It is reflected in the electoral preference for ruling or oppositional parties, local movements against central government's development plans, and the spatial organization of tourism sites from a few growth centers to more dispersed, balanced development. These suggest that the current state of island development is not derived from unidirectional global forces, even if islands are peripheral. Rather, it is the outcome of an alternating strategy of Jeju locals accepting the central government development plans while managing them for local benefits.

  • The characteristic of Web 2.0 is openness, participation, share, cooperation and creation. The purpose of this article was to identify learner based knowledge creation strategy through UCC in Web 2.0, to develop UCC by university students and to make systematic UCC process. This article suggested knowledge creation strategy with UCC learning Community of Practice(CoP). UCC was developed by 25 students who registered e-learning in "P" university and conducted interview with students and experts to analyze the contents which related with research questions. Systematic process for developing educational UCC was consisted of sectors such as idea creation, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Main developing process steps were as follows: making subject$\rightarrow$seeking information$\rightarrow$selecting data$\rightarrow$designing contents$\rightarrow$making story board$\rightarrow$planning of filming$\rightarrow$filming$\rightarrow$digitalizing$\rightarrow$editing$\rightarrow$reviewing final product$\rightarrow$implementing$\rightarrow$evaluating. For learner based knowledge creation through UCC, educational institutions have to provide platform for learners' need, and learners create diverse ideas with UCC CoP. This article suggested knowledge creation strategy with sharing collective intelligence through process of UCC design, development, implement and evaluation.

  • The research is concerned with digitalization process and strategy of 'traditional industries'. Along with development of the Internet, new industries are emerging, while traditional industries are also rapidly shifting from old modes to new ones. Most traditional industries uy to enhance their adaptability for changing environment. The investigators argue the strategic intent of traditional industries can be categorized into the four different types. The typology consists of two axis. On the one hand, the directions of digitalization are rationalization and development of new business. On the other hand, the objects of digitalization are product and process. According to the typology, the research suggests neologism for the four strategies; product innovation strategy. new business strategy. rationalization strategy and process innovation strategy.

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate the development of elementary school student's reasoning strategies used in proportional tasks. Three hundred and ninety elementary students were sampled to investigate their reasoning strategies used in Pouring Water Tasks. Results showed that 4 percentage of students used proportional reasoning strategy. By the way, about 80 % of students used qualitative guess or additive strategies to solve proportion tasks. Further, about fifth-grade or 11-year-old students began to use proportional reasoning strategy. Also, female and malt students' development of reasoning strategies improved from 1st grade across 5th grade and from 6-year-old across 11-year-old. However, female did not show the improvement of strategy development after 5th-grade or 11-year-old. However, male students showed a continuous improvement after the grade or age. In addition, students showed developmental patterns of spurts and plateau, ra thor than a linear developmental pattern. The present study also discussed educational implications of this findings in school curriculum.
