LNG 배관 시스템용 1인치 글로브 밸브 개발 및 성능실험 (Development and Performance Test on the 1-Inch Glove Valve for the LNG Piping System)

  • This study describes the development of a 1-inch cryogenic glove valve for an LNG pumping system and localization development achieved through the performance test. The cryogenic valve used in the LNG pumping system plays an important role in maintaining a flow rate by LNG transportation. This trial manufactured goods, which was achieved through reverse engineering and developing the assembly process. The result of the leak test satisfied the internal pressure condition using the 78-bar normal temperature test and maintained the anti-leakage condition. Also, the result of the cryogenic leak test (BS 6364: low temperature test procedure) maintained anti-leakage at -196 and 52 bar, which satisfied the test standards.

  • The new technologies in mobile display developed in SEC are briefly reviewed. For a differentiation, SEC's LTPS line is based on SLS (Sequential Lateral Solidification) technology. In this paper, the characteristics of SEC's SLS in recent and future mobile displays were discussed. The microstructure produced by SLS crystallization is dependent on SLS process conditions such as mask design, laser energy density, and pulse duration time. The microstructure and TFT (Thin Film Transistor) performance are closely related. For an optimization of TFT performance, SLS process condition should be adjusted. Other fabrication processes except crystallization such as blocking layer, gate insulator deposition and cleaning also affect TFT performance. Optimized process condition and tailoring mask design can make it possible to produce high quality AMOLED devices. The TFT non-uniformity caused by laser energy density fluctuation could be successfully diminished by mixing technology.

Binder-free Tungsten Carbide Fabricated by Pulsed Electric Current Sintering

  • In this paper, we show some experimental results of binder-free WC sintered by Pulsed Electric Current Sintering (PECS) also known as Field Assisted Sintering Technology (FAST). These binder-free WC have extremely hardness and stiffness. However, these mechanical properties are dependent on the sintering condition, e.g., maximum temperature, applied pressure, etc. We show some relationship between mechanical properties and sintering condition to improve to sinter the binder-free WC.

  • This article is composed of three parts in this article. The first part reviews, in the general, condition on Chinese forest resource history and analyzes the change in different historical times. The present condition and existing problems are discussed in the second part, where analyzes the existing problems in different distribution areas. In the third part, the solutions are raised to solve the problems mentioned in the second part. Finally the objective and strategy for sustainable development of Chinese forest resources are put forward.

에스터계 열가소성 탄성 섬유의 커버링 공정 및 열처리 조건에 따른 물성 변화 (Physical Properties According to the Covering Process and Heat Treatment Condition of the Thermoplastic Polyetherester Elastomeric Fibers)

  • The condition of covering process using thermoplastic polyetherester elastomeric fibers(TPEE) was established. Two types of core yarn(TPEE, Spandex) and one type of effect yarn(PET) were used as materials to confirm the change in physical properties of covering yarn under various covering conditions. In addition, the effects of the treatment temperature on the elongation at break of covering yarn after heat treatment was analyzed. Through this analysis, it was confirmed that the elastic recovery of TPEE which is used as the core yarn was increased with the draw ratio, but decreases when it exceeds 1:2.5. And the elongation at break of the covering yarn could be increased by increasing the twist per meter of it. Additionally, it was confirmed that the elastic recovery of TPEE which is used as a core yarn, could be increased by applying heat treatment.

Long-term Complications of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome on Permanent Teeth : A Case Report

  • Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a severe adverse cutaneous drug reaction seen rarely in clinical practice. Although relatively rare, the condition can be fatal. Mainly, it is caused by side effects of certain medications. Previous reports have associated Stevens-Johnson syndrome with abnormal root development, but the other long-term dental complications have rarely been reported. In this case, the patient developed SJS at the age of 5, and abnormal root development of the maxillary and mandibular first molars and mandibular incisors was observed, as well as impaction of the mandibular canine and enamel hypomineralization of multiple teeth. Accordingly, appropriate restorative treatment and orthodontic treatment were performed, and the clinical characteristics of this symptoms and its treatment were discussed in more detail. We aim to highlight the need for dentists to be aware of the potential dental complications of SJS and to enable early diagnosis and management of the condition to avoid undesirable sequelae.

북한강 엷은재첩, Corbicula papyracea (Heude) 의 번식생태 (Reproductive Ecology of the Freshwater Marsh Clam, Corbicula papyracea (Heude) in Bukhan River)

  • 북한강에 서식하고 있는 엷은재첩의 산란생태를 파악하기 위하여, 생식소 발달단계에 따른 생식주기, 군성숙도, 난경의 월별변화를 조사하였다. 각장에 대한 각고, 각폭, 전중, 육중간 의 상대성장식에서 상관계수 ($R^2$) 는 0.921-0.984로 높은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 엷은재첩은 기수재첩 보다는 소형종이었으며, 동시자웅동체로서 체내에서 수정되어 아가미 보육낭에서 부화되어 체외로 방출하는 난태생종이었다. 월별 비만도는 0.14-0.21 범위로 동계인 12월-2월에 낮은 값을 보이다가 2월부터 서서히 높아지기 시작하여 5월에 0.21로 정점을 보였다. 월별 육중량비는 25.9-38.7%로 비만도의 월별 변화와 같은 경향을 나타내었다. 비만도와 육중량비의 정점이 생식세포의 최성숙기와 1-2개월 차이가 있었다. 생식소의 조직상, 비만도 및 생식세포의 월별 변화를 종합하면 북한강산 엷은재첩 생식년주기는 분열증식기(12-2월), 성장기(2-5월), 성숙기(6-8월), 완숙 및 발생기(8-11월), 회복기(11-12월) 로 구분되어 하계산란종이었다. 군성숙 각장은 12.6 mm 였으며, 16 mm 이상의 개체는 모두 성숙하여 아가미에 보육낭을 형성하였다.

고추 식물의 건조 스트레스 완화를 위한 미생물 선발 (Screening of Bacterial Strains for Alleviating Drought Stress in Chili Pepper Plants)

  • 식물 근권과 내생에서 분리한 447 균주 중 식물 생장 촉진특성과 건조 내성이 있는 28 균주를 일차적으로 스크리닝 하였으며, PEG에 의한 인위적 건조 스트레스 조건에서 잎의 상대수분함량과 MDA를 기반으로 GLC02와 KJ40을 선발하였다. 이 두 균주의 효과를 검증하기 위해 밭흙을 사용한 자연 건조에서 식물 포트 검정을 하였으며, 기공전도도와 지상부(줄기와 잎) 무게가 유의하게 증가한 반면 MDA가 감소하였다. 병 억제 효과에서는 GLC02를 처리할 경우 역병의 병진전도가 감소하였으며, KJ40을 처리할 경우 세균성 점무늬병에 대한 억제효과가 있었다. 이를 토대로, GLC02와 KJ40을 처리할 경우 건조 스트레스를 경감시켜주며 식물생장의 증진, 병 억제효과를 유도하여 생물비료의 소재로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

문제중심학습에 참여한 중학생의 과학적 자기효능감 형성 과정 분석 (An Analysis of Middle Schoolers' Science Self-Efficacy Development in Problem Based Learning)

  • 본 연구에서는 중학생들의 과학적 자기효능감 발달에 영향을 미치는 문제중심학습의 학습 특성을 추출하고 이들 특성 간의 관계를 분석하여 자기효능감이 형성되는 과정을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 20개의 모듈로 이루어진 문제중심학습 과학 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 17명의 중학교 3학년 학생들에게 이 프로그램을 처치하였다. 프로그램을 마친 후 2차에 걸친 반구조화된 심층면담을 하였고 면담자료는 Corbin과 Strauss(2007)의 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학습자의 과학적 자기효능감 발달에 영향을 미치는 문제중심학습의 학습 특성은 실제적이고 비구조화된 문제의 제공, 소그룹 협동학습, 결과의 공유이었다. 실제적이고 비구조화적인 문제의 특성은 학습자의 과학적 자기효능감 형성에 선행조건으로 작용하였으며, 소그룹 협동학습은 자기효능감의 형성을 실질적으로 신장시키는 촉진조건으로 작용하였다. 또한 결과의 공유는 형성된 자기효능감을 미래 과학 활동 참여 의지나 과학적 진로의 선택 등으로 발전시키는 전이조건이 됨을 알 수 있었다.

습식 열처리 조건이 PBS 공중합체 모노필라멘트 그물감의 부풀음 및 물성변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of steam heat treatment conditions on the swelling and physical properties of PBS (polybutylene succinate) copolymer monofilament gill net)

  • Swelling of the heat-treated netting for gillnet was estimated through the netting height in square acrylic tank. Experimental Nylon netting and PBSAT netting were heat-treated by using the high-degree vacuum method in hot water after net making. Heat-treatment temperatures were conducted with Nylon netting $105^{\circ}C$ and PBSAT netting $62^{\circ}C$, $65^{\circ}C$, $66^{\circ}C$, $67^{\circ}C$. The swelling measurement method of a netting using the square tank was capable of the reduction measurement errors comparing with measurement methods of a mesh inner angle and the shortening rate of a mesh size. In addition, this method was available to comparison evaluation for each netting more easily. Wet type heat-treatment apparatus with high-degree vacuum was shown higher $7{\sim}8^{\circ}C$ inner side temperature than a setting temperature. The tensile strength and elongation of Nylon netting and PBSAT netting were shown higher wet condition than dry condition. The tensile strengths of PBSAT monofilaments in dry and wet condition were sharply decreased at heat-treatment temp. $75^{\circ}C$ than heat-treatment temp. $74^{\circ}C$.
