The purpose of this comparative study what is the way to express difference fashion design between Japanese fashion designers and Western fashion designers in the 1990s. The design data were 422 pictures of contemporary fashion designs which represented the Japanism style design from fashion collections and analyzed by literature study and classification categories. The results were as follows : 1) Early general Japanism expression was directly borrowed from traditional fashion design elements and has changed indirectly with fashion trend. 2) Japanese fashion designers have used color, fabric, and pattern than shape to express Japanese traditional images. 3) Western fashion designers have directly borrowed aesthetic elements of Kimono design, that is, layering. bending, neck-line, sleeve, and traditional Japanese men's wear to express Japanism.

지각 내 존재비율이 0.4 ppb 이하인 희소백금족 로듐, 루테늄, 이리듐, 오스뮴 원소에 대해 특성을 조사하고 일본을 중심으로 한 기술선진국의 특허 등록된 회수 및 분리기술을 정리함으로써 국내 발생 폐자원으로부터 희소백금족 회수기술과 원료소재화 활용기술 개발 필요성을 제시하고자 한다.

본 고는 현재 전기적 응용을 위한 수지 절연물의 진공/가압 수지-주형처리 분야에서 가장 앞선 기술과 연구개발력을 보유하고 있는 스위스의 Ciba-Geigy사와 최신의 진공성형 시스템을 개발, 생산하고 있는 독일의 Hedrich사 및 진공주형/자동가압 성형장비를 생산하는 스위스의 Vogel사 등을 최근에 방문하여 Epoxy, Polyurethane, Polyester 및 Silicone 수지 등의 수지절연시스템을 가지고 구조적으로 기포가 없으며 전기적, 기계적, 열적특성이 매우 우수하고 매끄러운 표면이 요구되는 수지 mold제품을 생산하는데 적용되고 있는 진공 수지-주형처리기술의 현황과 아울러 경화시간을 크게 단축시켜 생산자동화가 가능한 최신의 자동가압겔화(Automatic pressure gelation)/주입몰드공정(Injection molding process)의 특징 및 기술개발현황에 대해 파악한 내용을 소개하고자 한다.

According to the trend for electric power equipment of high capacity and reduction of its size, the needs for the new high performance electric equipments become more and more important. On of the possible solution is high temperature superconducting (HTS) power application. Following the successful development of practical HTS wires, there have been renewed activities in developing superconducting power equipment. HTS equipments have to be operated in a coolant such as liquid nitrogen ($LN_2$) or cooled by conduction-cooling method such as using Gifford-McMahon (G-M) cryocooler to maintain the temperature below critical level. In this paper, the dielectric strength of unfilled epoxy and filled epoxy in $LN_2$ was analyzed. The filled epoxy composite not only compensates for this fragile property but enhances its dielectric strength.

Regional innovation capabilities have been regarded as essential in developing regional economy. Many regional governments all over the world have been pouring great efforts to increase their regional innovation capabilities. In these days, this trend has been prevailed among Korean regional governments. In line with the active support of the central government, Korean regional governments have started their own regional innovation policies. This paper aims at discussing a regional government`s efforts in enhancing its innovation capabilities. As a representative region, we select Kyunggi Province, because it is one of the most advanced regions in Korea. We discuss Kyunggi Province`s innovation promotion efforts in terms of organization, budget, and programs. According to our analysis, the Kyunggi`s provincial government increased its innovation capabilities to a large scale. It has extended its S&T promotion organization, increased its R&D budget to a large scale, and increased its R&D promotion programmes and even initiated its own programs.

In order to control the hybrid power system efficiently, the knowledge for the required load of the system is important. The agricultural tractor performs various farm works such as plow, rotary, and baler. When it performs rotary tillage and baler operation, the generated work load is analyzed. To analyze trend of work load, moving average technique is applied to the measurement data. Optimal control inputs for the two works are obtained from simulation using the dynamic programming. The novel fundamental control strategy for parallel hybrid tractor called Max. SOC is proposed.

Cultural needs of human have grown enormously. Consumer trend and individual taste have become more individualistic and diversified. Efforts to improve the quality of life have changed the concept of lift space as well as the concept of interior life supplies. Products are no longer standardized and produced in massive scale, thus a shift of value has risen. Damages done by the economical development have made consumers take interests in products that are more natural and in harmony with human beings. It is a tendency that wooden materials are becoming a preference as a specific alternative. There is a great social change with a new paradigm like this. Considering the change, we propose a new vision and activation plan on design development of wooden products through specific and practical studies by the system of educational and industrial cooperation which is an organic association system for developing human resources of educational system and producing profits of industry. From it, we can expect great effects as a competitive design of coming future.

최근 노령화 인구의 증가와 다양한 피부미용 기술들이 증대됨에 따라 피부노화 개선에 대한 소비자의 욕구가 높아지고 있다. 또한 기능성 화장품법 시행 후 효능원료 개발에 대한 연구들이 활발히 수행되고 있어 안전하며 임상학적으로 효능이 있는 주름기능성 화장품 개발은 화장품업계의 주요 관심 과제이다. 대표적인 피부 고민들 가운데 주름살 증가와 탄력성 감소와 같은 피부노화 현상을 개선할 수 있는 항주름 연구 및 항노화 원료들에 대한 연구 동향을 소개하고자 한다.

As RAMS becomes an international trend in the railroad industry, it is also generalized in the domestic railroad industry. This research is performed to present a criterion of the RAMS plan for the next generation high speed rolling stock. The criterion is developed based on IEC62278(EN50126), the international standard for railroad RAMS and CLC/TR 50126-2, 3, the guide to the application of IEC 62278. It is necessary for the export of the rolling stock. The criterion describes the RAMS targets and the contents to be included in the RAMS plan to meet the RAMS targets. Through developing the RAMS plan, we can identify RAMS activities and documents to be done in the total life cycle which includes design, manufacture and operation. It will help to accomplish synthetically the system targets of the next generation high speed rolling stock.

This study discuses the strategies for the reestabisgment of Korean textile industry by emphasizing the area of textile design which plays an important role in developing textile materials. The textile industry in Korea has been in stagnancy for a long period of time and appears to find no answer to the problem. The big part of the problem is that the industry itself does not realize the importance of textile design and its management does not understand its critical role in contributing the growth of the industry. To develop textile design, first, we need to foster textile designers who have the creativity, an understanding of international trend and a mind f management. This can be achieved through an education system with a close tie to the textile industry. Second, we need to globalize our textile design in three aspects : design, technology and marketing. A balanced and harmonized progression of these three aspects will guarantee a successful globalization of textile design. This progression, however, demands creativity, identity, and interaction on the design side, digital and networking on the technology side, and culture marketing, brand value, and global agent networking on the marketing side.
