옥외휴양공간에서의 사회적 수용능력연구: 국립공원에서의 혼잡지각의 경로모형 분석 (A Study on Social Carrying Capacity in Outdoor Recreation Setting: An Exploratory Analysis on the Perceived Crowding Path Model in National Park)

  • The primary concerns of recreation plan are to provide visitors with quality of recreational experience and to protect of recreation resources. The quality of recreational experience is often defined in terms of social carrying capacity. The carrying capacity is revealed as perceived crowding. In this respects, measuring perceived crowding is useful tool of social carrying capacity determination. This study is to test the structural equation model that includes variables affecting perceived crowding. Through an on-site questionnaire survey, 467 visitors on Naejangsan national park were collected. The results of the study are follows. The encounter level on facility area is higher evaluated as crowding factor than other area in the park. It can be concluded that visitor perceived crowding when facility area situates high density use level rather than other areas expose high density use level. In the path analysis, the input variables(attitude, experience, encounter level) on the structural equation model affect significantly on perceived crowding. Especially, the attitude on the park management polocy is the most affecting factor on perceived crowding.

  • The multi-projective model considers attributes and the relationships among attributes called projections. The critical features of the multi-projective model are the way of relating attributes in the description of the system, the way of reasoning incomplete projections, and the determination of connected patterns between projection. In order to get a full picture of the system, we build a set of projections. The multi-projective model can be thought of as projections of a multi-dimensional reality onto simplified “model space”. The multi-projective database modeling approach used in this paper unified the ideas and terminology of various database models. Most importantly, the multi-projective modeling is presented as a tool of database design in the relational and other database models.

  • This paper, presents SECRET(SEC REliability Tool), which predicts reliability problems related to the hot-carrier and electromigration effects on the submicron MOSFETs and interconnections. To simulate DC and AC lifetime for hot-carrier damaged devices, we have developed an accurate substrate current model with the geometric sensitivity, which has been verified over the wide ranges of transistor geometries. A guideline can be provided to design hot-carrier resistant circuits by the analysis of HOREL(HOT-carrier RFsistant Logic) effect, and circuit degradation with respect to physical parameter degradation such as the threshold voltage and the mobility can also be expected. In SECRET, DC and AC MTTF values of metal lines are calculated based on lossy transmission line analysis, and parasitic resistances, inductances and capacitances of metal lines are accurately considered when they operate in the condition of high speed. Also, circuit-level reliability simulation can be applied to the determination of metal line width and-that of optimal capacitor size in substrate bias generation circuit. Experimental results obtained from the several real circuits show that SECERT is very useful to estimate and analyze reliability problems.

사람 치조골세포의 배양에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON A CULTURE OF HUMAN ALVEOLAR BONE CELLS)

  • Human alveolar bone cells were isolated from alveolar bone fragments obtained from normal individual undergoing third molar extractions. Alveolar bone fragments were cultured as explant. Cells began to migrate in the first $5{\sim}7$ day and were confluent in $5{\sim}7$ week. Matrix mineralization was observed by 4 week. Our studies utilize established protocols for the characterization of these cells as osteoblasts by means of alkaline phosphatase activity determination, identification of osteocalcin antigens, establishing the presence of cells expressing type I collagen and determining the ability of cells to produce calcification. Transmission electron microscopic observations confirmed the presence of a collagen matrix undergoing a mineralization process. This new model, using human alveolar bone cells, may provide a tool to investigate alveolar bone development and physiology and to set up new therapeutic approaches.

분무 액적 특성 계측을 위한 디지털 입자 홀로그래피 시스템의 개발 (Development of Digital Particle Holographic System for Measurements of the Characteristics of Spray Droplets)

  • This study presents development of digital particle holographic system and its application to spray field to measure three-dimensional velocities and sizes of spray droplets. A double exposure hologram recording system with synchronization system for time control was established and digital holograms can be recorded in a short time interval. To process recorded holograms, the correlation coefficient method was used for focal plane determination of particles. To remove noises and improve the quality of holograms and reconstructed images, the Wiener filter was adopted. The two-threshold and image segmentation methods were used in binary image transformation. For particle pairing, the match probability method was adopted. The developed system was applied to spray field and three-dimensional velocities and sizes of spray droplets were measured. The measurement results of digital holographic system were compared with those made by laser instruments, PDPA(Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer), which proved the feasibility of in-line digital particle holographic system as a good measurement tool for spray droplets.

선삭 가공 사이클 단축 시뮬레이션 (Cycle Reduction Simulation for Turning Process)

  • Productivity of machining using machine tools is affected by cutting conditions such as cutting speed, feedrate and depth. However, undesirable conditions that lengthen the machining cycle and shorten the tool life occur frequently because determination of cutting condition is known to depend on human experience. This paper presents a method of cycle reduction by removing undesirable conditions. For cycle reduction, maximum cutting load is determined using commercial FEM simulation code. The feedrate in the NC program is altered based on a predetermined cutting load value. To make a decision on the proposed effectiveness, a simulation is performed for the brake hub parts of an automobile. From the evaluation, it was found that the cycle reduction was under 15%.

  • The KOMPSAT-1(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-1) is the first multi-purpose satellite funded by Korean government for the purpose of remote sensing and scientific data gathering in KOREA. It has successfully achieved its own mission since Dec. 21, 1999. This paper provides an overview of the KOMPSAT-1 missions and addresses the nominal mission planning and operation flow. This paper also describes the routine operational orbit determination and orbit prediction process using GPS navigation solution data. Meanwhile, some problems due to inexperience of the multiple mission operations during LEOP(Launch & Early Orbit Phase) and early normal mission were investigated.   • After many years of proliferation, the nuclear industry is indebted for a formidable consequence, the safe management of spent fuel. Naturally, the high radioactivity involved with such process motivates the development of effective telerobotic systems. Nevertheless, the existing master-slave type of tele manipulators are limited in effectiveness by the human operator's limited sensory and manipulation capabilities. This paper presents the result of a research effort to resolve such problems by assigning the slave manipulator a certain degree of intelligence; sensing and actuation. In the presented system, a perception-action loop is achieved using ultrasonic range sensor and laser distance sensor interfaced with the PUMA 760 industrial robot system, and applied to automating impact wrenching task for unbolting the lid of nuclear spent fuel cask. The perception-action loop performs determination of the cask location, collision avoidance and centering of the impact wrench onto the bolt head. To aid the insertion task and to provide versatility a mounting module consisting of an RCC device and an automatic tool changer is designed and implemented. The performance of the developed system is tested on the model cask and the result is given.

  • In the determination of control laws of semi-active suspension system, optimal control theory is applied, which used in the design of fully active suspension system and in the performance index sense. Optimal semi-active control laws are designed, and the computer program is developed fur estimation of performance In the time and frequency domain. It is certified that in the semi-active control system, it is desirable to minimize the spring constant and damping coefficient as possible in the given constraints. The effect of performance improvement which is almost equal to fully active type is obtained.

  • In this paper, it is presented a new technique to the design and real-time implementation of fuzzy control system based-on digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness for system of industrial robot. Fuzzy control has emerged as one of the most active and fruitful areas for research in the applications of fuzzy set theory, especially in the real of industrial processes. In this thesis, a self-organizing fuzzy controller for the industrial robot manipulator with a actuator located at the base is studied. A fuzzy logic composed of linguistic conditional statements is employed by defining the relations of input-output variable of the controller, In the synthesis of a FLC, one of the most difficult problems is the determination of linguistic control rules from the human operators. To overcome this difficult, SOFC is proposed for a hierarchical control structure consisting of basic level and high level that modify control rules.
