The k₀-standardization neutron activation analysis method has successfully determined the mass fraction of elements of interest using around a hundred analytical radionuclides. However, several very short-lived nuclides with half-life less than 100 s have not been used at Dalat research reactor. One of the reasons is that the values of k₀-factors of these nuclides are significantly different. Therefore, this work focused on re-determination and evaluation of k₀-factors of very short-lived nuclides ¹¹⁰Ag (T_1/2 = 24 s) and ^46mSc (T_1/2 = 18.75 s). The results of determination of the short-lived nuclides revealed that k₀-factor of ¹¹⁰Ag is significantly difference between the existing data and the obtained results in this work. The evaluation of the k₀-factors was done by using the obtained results for application of k₀-NAA for NIST-1566b and NIST-2711A standard reference materials.

Measurements of strain near a crack tip with electrical resistance strain gages do not usually provide a reliable value of stress intensity factor (K sub I) because of local yielding and limited regions for strain-gage placement. This paper attempted to define a valid region and to indicate procedures for locating and orienting the strain-gage to determine stress intensity factor accurately from one stain-gage readings.

One of the most difficult and important problems associated with radiated electromagnetic emissions from digital devices are the determination of antenna factor and site acceptability of an open area test site. This paper presents the problems of the open area test site and EMC antennas far measuring electromagnetic interferences radiated from the equipements. It seems desirable that the antenna factor of EMC antennas be revised to the antenna factor with zero reflection presented in this paper for accurate measurements.

In this paper, to propose guideline of modular design for improvement of ease of disassembly, product structure must be considered. By analyzing characteristics of structure of subassembly, influencing factor of module can be defined and classified. Based on determination factor of influencing factor of module, criteria for improvement of ease of disassembly can be obtained through the interrelationship between product and process factors.

Single phase AC to DC Boost-converter which is control led with a variable hysteretic current mode for improvent of input power factor makes high power factor possible. Power Factor correction circuit can be identified with a determination of each parameters. A simaluation and experiment result to load and parameter variation is examined.

In this paper, we have studied about the determination methode of the operating frequency, and the design technique for the self-exited electronic ballast. Because we use the saturation characteristics of the ferrite core, the variation of the B/H curve characteristics for the selected core in the most important factor for the stabilization. Although it is impossible to fix the operation frequency, the self-exited electronic ballast is widely used because of its cost and the simplicity of its structure.

Risk, or exposure to uncertainty, is an inherent of risk-adjusted discount rate. It is therefore important part factor in the determination of risk-adjusted discount rate. This paper suggests the method to quantify risk and explains the process how to transfer quantified risk into incremental discount rate. The estimates of underlying risks will help determine the size of appropriate risk-adjusted discount rate with logical and scientific way when the technology valuation is made.

Wood, laminates, reinforced concrete, and some special types of metals systems with controlled grain orientation are often orthotropic and at least rectilinearly anisotropic from point to point, if regarded as homogeneous media. Orthotropic bodies where a crack is not associated with a plane of elastic symmetry may be conveniently treated as a crack problem in a generally anisotropic body. At this work, approach for the determination of the stress intensity factors (SIF) of anisotropic body using crack tip singular elements is presented. Caculated values are in good agreement with the others.

The purpose of this study is to measure the factor of determination on satisfaction level of the Jeonju International Film Festival. A study is analysed through research that is consisted of satisfaction factor#s items of 32 local festival visitor to study factors of determination of local festival visitor#s satisfaction level. This research data extracted 6 factors, which are access and souvenir, food/lodging, information/service, event/pastime, and convenient facilities. In conclusion, the festival is likely to attract more tourists and make them satisfied if better content of the festival is provided. There, most of the tourists need to becoming cleared to be satisfied due to its values of culture recognition through various contents of the festival, fun factors, food/lodging factors, and various programs.

This thesis has analyzed the determination factor for the crop insurance of rice focused on paddy rice. The analysis on each farmer has been used with integrated probit model & random effects probit model. It has shown in the analysis result of determination factor for buying the crop insurance of paddy rice farmer through integrated probit model & random effects probit model that the higher age, degree of education, cultivated area, and amount of received insurance money and the lower in a number of family member have revealed the higher possibility to buy the crop insurance in the integrated probit model. While the random effects probit model has shown a higher possibility to buy the crop insurance as the higher age, cultivated area, and amount of received insurance money.
