퍼지로직을 적용한 네트워크 보안 시스템의 성능향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on performance improvement of network security system applying fuzzy logic)

  • 단순히 퍼지만을 사용하여 시스템을 연동하는 경우와 퍼지로직을 같이 사용하여 침입 탐지 에이전트의 시스템 성능을 향상시키는 경우에 관한 연구로서, 블랙보드 기반의 비퍼지로직을 사용하는 경우와 블랙보드 기반의 퍼지 로직을 사용하는 경우을 비교한다. 또한 BBA를 통해 정적으로 대응하던 시스템을 향상시켜 동적 대응이 가능하게 구성하여 현실적인 시스템이 되도록 구성하였다. 대상 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 퍼지 시스템을 사용함으로써 false negative를 줄일 수 있었다. 분산 침입탐지를 위해 포함된 퍼지로직은 다양한 요소를 고려하기 때문에 침입의 성능을 높일 수 있다. 퍼지시스템을 사용하는 경우와 비 퍼지 시스템의 성능을 비교함으로써 퍼지 시스템의 성능 향상을 보이며, 이러한 비교를 통해 전체 시스템의 성능 향상을 보인다.

에이전트 행동에 기반한 의도 인식 컴퓨팅 (Agent's Activities based Intention Recognition Computing)

  • 에이전트의 의도를 인식하는 것은 사물지능형 컴퓨팅에서 인간컴퓨터 상호작용의 주요 부분이다. 컴퓨팅 시스템에서 인식 대상의 의도를 정확하게 유추하면 다수의 에이전트간의 협력 상황 이해와 특정 행동이 취해질 때의 상황 파악이 쉽기 때문이다. 본 연구는 다른 이의 행동을 해석하고 행동의 근거가 되는 의도와 목적을 추론하는 인간의 기제를 바탕으로, 컴퓨팅 시스템이 행동을 인식하여 습득한 사전 경험 데이터를 이용, 대상의 의도를 빠르게 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 의도 인식을 수행하기 위해 제안 방법은 에이전트의 목적에 따른 행동 변화를 검출하고 시스템이 사전에 학습한 행동 정보를 모델링하기 위해 특정 형태의 행동 은닉마코프 형식을 이용한다. 에이전트의 의도를 추론하는 데 관점을 다양하게 취함으로써 시스템이 에이전트의 행동이 끝나기 전에 미리 의도를 추론하도록 한다. 의도 인식의 정확도, 조기 검출률과 정확 지속률에 대한 실험으로 여러 가지 행동을 취하는 에이전트의 의도 검출 결과를 정량적으로 제시함으로써 제안 연구가 효과적인 의도 인식 시스템 구현에 기여함을 보여준다.

  • Due to the growth of economy and the advancement of IT, the life expectancy has been prolonged and the interests in health have greatly increased. Recently the request for systems that enable measuring the bio-signals of patients in the non medical organizations, such as home, and transmitting them to medical staffs at remote sites for monitoring them. In this paper, we present an agent-based u-health system for patients or suspects with heart diseases. Our system consists of portable devices for measuring bio-signals and agents that perform data collection, data storage, automatic detection of abnormal status in patients, and HL7-based data exchange in a cooperative way. The main features of the system are : the agent-based architecture facilitates the addition of new service modules as well as the modification of existing ones; an intelligent agent is provided which automatically detects situations in which the bio-signals of patients are abnormal; the medical data standard is supported so that the communication with other systems is very easy. To our survey, there have been few previous systems which support all those features in a seamless way.

  • In Efforts to prevent CFIT accidents so far, have been emphasizing various education measures to minimize the occurrence of human errors, as well as enforcement measures. However, current engineering measures remain in a system (TAWS) that gives warnings before colliding with ground or obstacles, and even actual automatic avoidance maneuvers are not implemented, which has limitations that cannot prevent accidents caused by human error. Currently, various attempts are being made to apply machine learning-based artificial intelligence agent technologies to the aviation safety field. In this paper, we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based artificial intelligence agent that can recognize CFIT situations and control aircraft to avoid them in the simulation environment. It also describes the composition of the learning environment, process, and results, and finally the experimental results using the learned agent. In the future, if the results of this study are expanded to learn the horizontal and vertical terrain radar detection information and camera image information of radar in addition to the terrain database, it is expected that it will become an agent capable of performing more robust CFIT autonomous avoidance.

  • A technique for detection of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri, a causal bacterium of canker on Unshiu orange fruits, was developed using bacteriophage. Procedure for the detection was designed on the basis of the previous reports that one group(CPI) of X. axonopodis pv. citri bacteriophage and corresponding two Iysotypes distributed in Korea. First, fruit surface was washed with sterile distilled water and pellet was obtained from centrifugation. The pellet was resuspended in Wakimoto's potato semi-synthetic broth medium and divided equally into two parts. One part was heated in boiling water to kill bacterial cells. Bacteriophages(CP$_1$) were respectively added into two parts and 0.1 ml from each part was mixed with soft agar medium. After incubation for 18 hrs at 25$^{\circ}C$, the causal bacterium of canker was determined based on plaques formed on the medium. This procedure can be effectively used for detection of living bacterial pathogen on fruit surfaces of Unshiu orange.

Synthesis of Platinum-Reduced Graphene Oxide (Pt-rGO) Nanocomposite for Selective Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide as a Peroxidase-Mimic Catalyst

  • In this study, we report the one-pot synthesis of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) containing platinum nanoparticles with catalytic activity to break down hydrogen peroxide as a peroxidase-mimicking catalyst. A single reducing agent was used to reduce graphene oxide and a platinum precursor at a moderately low temperature of 70℃. The rGO was homogeneously decorated with platinum nanoparticles. The catalytic activity of Pt-rGO was investigated for the oxidation of 3,3',5,5'- tetramethylbenzidine (TMB), a peroxidase substrate, in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. The Pt-rGO coupled with glucose oxidase was also able to detect glucose at millimolar concentrations (up to 1 mM). Our results show that the Pt-rGO composite is a promising catalyst for the detection of hydrogen peroxide. This method was also applied for the detection of glucose.

  • Structural polymer composites are susceptible to damage in the form of cracks, which form deep within the structure where detection is difficult and repair is almost impossible. A recent methodology for the damage repair of polymer composites using the self-healing technique is reported. The polymerization of the healing agent is triggered by contact with an embedded catalyst, being necessary to damage repair of polymer composites. For this purpose, the self-healing concept is introduced and the manufacturing process of microcapsule with the healing agent is briefly described. The polymerization between the healing agent and the catalyst is verified by the use of ESEM and IR spectroscopy. Finally the efficiency of the self-healing technique is investigated by measuring the critical load of TDCB specimen.

  • In this paper we present the multi-agent robot system developed for participating in micro robot soccer tournament. The multi-agent robot system consists of micro robot, a vision system, a host computer and a communication module. Mcro robot are equipped with two mini DC motors with encoders and gearboxes, a R/F receiver, a CPU and infrared sensors for obstacle detection. A vision system is used to recognize the position of the ball and opponent robots, position and orientation of our robots. The vision system is composed of a color CCD camera and a vision processing unit. Host computer is a Pentium PC, and it receives information from the vision system, generates commands for each robot using a robot management algorithm and transmits commands to the robots by the R/F communication module. And in order to achieve a given mission in micro robot soccer game, cooperative behaviors by robots are essential. Cooperative work between individual agents is achieved by the command of host computer.

Blackboard 기반의 침입탐지 시스템 개발 (Development on Intrusion Detection, Based on Blackboard Architecture)

  • 본 논문에서는 네트워크 환경에서의 외부침입에 대한 효율적인 탐지 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 탐지구조에서는 각기 고유의 기능과 영역을 갖는 다수의 에이젼트들 사이에 블랙보드 구조를 갖는 협조 에이젼트(Coordination Agent)를 두고 Conflict Resolution 기능과 침입여부 확증 기능을 갖도록 함으로서 False Alarm을 감소시키도록 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 단순한 시스템 자원의 접근에도 기존 에이전트 방식은 침입이라는 판단을 내릴 수 있는 반면, 블랙보드 시스템은 에이젼트에 대한 적극적인 질의과정을 통해 최종적인 침입의 여부를 판정함으로써 침입 탐지 시스템의 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다.
