정지 속도 검출 가능한 이중 증분 엔코더 센서 알고리즘 개발 (Development of a Zero Velocity Detectable Sensor Algorithm with Dual Incremental Encoders)

  • The output of the encoder is a digital pulse, which is also easy to be connected to a digital controller. There are various angular velocity detecting methods of M, T, and M/T. Each of them has its own properties. There is a common limitation that the angular velocity detection period is strongly dependent on the destination velocity magnitude in case of ultimate low range. They have ultimately long detection period or cannot even detect angular velocity at near zero velocity. This paper proposes a zero velocity detectable sensor algorithm with the dual encoder system. The sensor algorithm is able to keep detection period moderately at near zero velocity and even detect zero velocity within nominal period. It is useful for detecting velocity in case of changing rotational direction at which there occurs zero velocity. In this paper, various experimental results are shown for the algorithm validity.

  • This study is devoted to suggesting the norm of detection abnormal users who are inferior to the other users in the recommender system compared with estimation accuracy. To select the abnormal users, we propose the pre-filtering method by using the preference ratings to the item rated by users. In this study, the experimental result shows the possibility of detecting the abnormal users before the process of preference estimation through the prediction algorithm. And It will be possible to improve the performance of the recommender system by using this detecting norm.

  • 영상취득 장치를 이용한 지능화된 감시 장치의 개발 기술 또한 발전하고 있다. 비교적 고속으로 움직이는 객체를 탐지해야 하는 분야에서 무엇보다 중요한 것은 배경영상 갱신에 대한 부하를 효과적으로 줄여서 실시간적으로 갱신할 수 있어야 하는데 현재 범용 컴퓨터 능력으로는 질감 등을 특징으로 추출하는 방법 등은 대부분 연산처리의 부하 때문에 적용상의 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 적어도 초당 30프레임의 카메라 영상에서 주행 중인 자동차와 같이 고속으로 움직이는 객체를 탐지하는 응용영역에서 실시간으로 배경 영상을 갱신하는 알고리즘을 제시하고, 실제 입력영상에서 객체 영역을 추출하는 시험을 통해 성능을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 저압 배선 진단 시스템 개발을 위한 지능형 차단 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 배선 진단 시스템은 TFDR(Time-Frequency Domain Reflectometry) 알고리즘을 통해 배선이 어떤 상태인지를 보여 주는 시스템이다. 그리고 제안된 진단 시스템으로부터 얻은 신호를 분석하여 이상 종류에 따라 분류하는 시스템을 통해 지능형 차단 시스템을 제안한다. 일반적으로, TFDR을 통해 알아 낼 수 있는 이상의 종류는 damage, open 그리고 short 이다. 각 상황에 대한 효율적인 분류를 위하여 IF-THEN 규칙에 기반 한 분류기가 사용된다. 기존 TFDR이 수행되었던 통신선 케이블의 실험 데이터에 기반 한 실험을 통해 본 제안 내용의 우수성을 보이게 된다.

저압 배선 이상 진단을 위한 지능형 차단 시스템 구축 (Development Intelligent Diagnosis System for Detecting Fault of Transmission Line)

  • 본 논문에서는 저압 배선 진단 시스템 개발에서 핵심 파트 중 하나인 지능형 차단 시스템 구축을 목표로 한다. 제안된 진단 시스템은 TFDR (Time-Frequency Domain Reflectometry) 알고리즘을 바탕으로 하여 실제 전압이 흐르는 배선에 대해 이상 거리 측정을 하게 된다. 그리고 배선으로부터 얻은 정보를 바탕으로 배선 이상의 종류를 분석하는 것이 지능형 차단 시스템의 목표이다. 효율적인 분석을 위해, 본 논문에서는 퍼지-베이시안 (Fuzzy-Bayesian) 알고리즘을 바탕으로 하여 시스템을 구성하였다. 실제 저압 배선에서 실험된 데이터를 바탕으로 한 실험을 통해 제안된 기술의 우수성을 입증하고자 한다.

  • This paper deals with an unmanned vehicle system configuration using all terrain vehicle. Many research institutes and university study and develop unmanned vehicle system and control algorithm. Now a day, they try to apply unmanned vehicle to use military device and explore space and deep sea. These unmanned vehicles can help us to work is difficult task and approach. In the previous research of unmanned vehicle in our lab, we used 1/10 scale radio control vehicle and composed the unmanned vehicle system using ultrasonic sensors, CCD camera and kinds of sensor for vehicle's motion control. We designed lane detecting algorithm using vision system and obstacle detecting and avoidance algorithm using ultrasonic sensor and infrared ray sensor. As the system is increased, it is hard to compose the system on the 1/10 scale RC car. So we have to choose a new vehicle is bigger than 1/10 scale RC car but it is smaller than real size vehicle. ATV(all terrain vehicle) and real size vehicle have similar structure and its size is smaller. In this research, we make unmanned vehicle using ATV and explain control theory of each component

  • 네트워크의 발달과 더불어 보안에 대한 중요성이 부각되면서 많은 침입탐지시스템이 개발되고 있다. 침입에 대한 다양한 침투기법을 미리 파악하여 패턴화시킴으로써 침입을 탐지하는 오용행위탐지와 알려진 침입뿐만 아니라 알려지지 않은 침입이나 비정상행위 탐지를 위한 비정상행위탐지 등이 그것이다. 현재 비정상행위탐지를 위한 통계적 방법 및 비정상적인 행위의 추출과 예측 가능한 패턴 생성을 위한 다양한 알고리즘 등이 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 데이터 마이닝의 클러스터링 및 연관규칙을 사용하여 두 모델에 따른 탐지영역을 분석하여 대규모 네트워크에서의 침입탐지 시스템을 설계하는데 도움을 주고자 한다.

상수관망의 누수감지를 위한 주성분 분석의 적용 가능성에 대한 연구 (Study on the applicability of the principal component analysis for detecting leaks in water pipe networks)

  • In this paper the potential of the principal component analysis(PCA) technique for the application of detecting leaks in water pipe networks was evaluated. For this purpose the PCA was conducted to evaluate the relevance of the calculated outliers of a PCA model utilizing the recorded pipe flows and the recorded pipe leak incidents of a case study water distribution system. The PCA technique was enhanced by applying the computational algorithms developed in this study which were designed to extract a partial set of flow data from the original 24 hour flow data so that the effective outlier detection rate was maximized. The relevance of the calculated outliers of a PCA model and the recorded pipe leak incidents was analyzed. The developed algorithm may be applied in determining further leak detection field work for water distribution blocks that have more than 70% of the effective outlier detection rate. However, the analysis suggested that further development on the algorithm is needed to enhance the applicability of the PCA in detecting leaks by considering series of leak reports happening in a relatively short period.

Development of a Period Analysis Algorithm for Detecting Variable Stars in Time-Series Observational Data

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a period analysis algorithm for detecting new variable stars in the time-series data observed by charge coupled device (CCD). We used the data from a variable star monitoring program of the CBNUO. The R filter data of some magnetic cataclysmic variables observed for more than 20 days were chosen to achieve good statistical results. World Coordinate System (WCS) Tools was used to correct the rotation of the observed images and assign the same IDs to the stars included in the analyzed areas. The developed algorithm was applied to the data of DO Dra, TT Ari, RXSJ1803, and MU Cam. In these fields, we found 13 variable stars, five of which were new variable stars not previously reported. Our period analysis algorithm were tested in the case of observation data mixed with various fields of view because the observations were carried with 2K CCD as well as 4K CCD at the CBNUO. Our results show that variable stars can be detected using our algorithm even with observational data for which the field of view has changed. Our algorithm is useful to detect new variable stars and analyze them based on existing time-series data. The developed algorithm can play an important role as a recycling technique for used data

센서 합성을 이용한 자율이동로봇의 주행 알고리즘 설계 (Design of Navigation Algorithm for Mobile Robot using Sensor fusion)

  • This paper presents the new obstacle avoidance method that is composed of vision and sonar sensors, also a navigation algorithm is proposed. Sonar sensors provide poor information because the angular resolution of each sonar sensor is not exact. So they are not suitable to detect relative direction of obstacles. In addition, it is not easy to detect the obstacle by vision sensors because of an image disturbance. In This paper, the new obstacle direction measurement method that is composed of sonar sensors for exact distance information and vision sensors for abundance information. The modified splitting/merging algorithm is proposed, and it is robuster for an image disturbance than the edge detecting algorithm, and it is efficient for grouping of the obstacle. In order to verify our proposed algorithm, we compare the proposed algorithm with the edge detecting algorithm via experiments. The direction of obstacle and the relative distance are used for the inputs of the fuzzy controller. We design the angular velocity controllers for obstacle avoidance and for navigation to center in corridor, respectively. In order to verify stability and effectiveness of our proposed method, it is apply to a vision and sonar based mobile robot navigation system.
