  • As people are highly interested in health, the number of people who participate in various sports programs is getting increased. But there is no web service which integrates all the information of the public sports facilities in Seoul and it's convenient to use the public sport facilities. So we propose an integrated information system whoever can find the public sports facilities in Seoul. The public APIs for the Seoul public sports facilities provided by Seoul city are used to integrate the information. Also, our web page provides various graphic function using pictures and videos of the facilities on the environment of HTML5. And it is the responsive webpage which can be provided on both desktop and mobile environment. By implementing the wizard page, the managers of the facilities who are not specialized can renew the information about their facilities easily. And for the easier searching, we provides three options of searching: local, subjects, themes.

  • In this paper, the $arccos(cos^{-1})$ arithmetic unit for mobile graphics accelerator is designed. The mobile vector graphics applications need tight area, execution time, power dissipation, and accuracy constraints compared to desktop PC applications. The designed processor adopts 2nd-order polynomial approximation scheme based on IEEE floating point data format to satisfy speed and accuracy conditions and reduces area via hardware sharing structure. The arccosine processor consists of 15,280 gates and its estimated operating frequency is about 125Mhz at operating condition of $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS technology. Because the processor can execute arccosine function within 7 clock cycles, it has about 17 MOPS(million arccos operations per second) execution rate and can be applicable to mobile OpenVG processor. And because of its flexible architecture, it can be applicable to the various transcendental functions such as exponential, trigonometric and logarithmic functions via replacement of ROM and minor hardware modification.

  • This study attempted to share the results of real-time online tests in online classes conducted by 33 students in the 4th grade of the department of nursing, K University, and to suggest ways to secure fairness in real-time online tests. Real-time online testing in this study utilized zoom cloud meetings. Students were invited to participate in the meeting at the same time with a desktop or laptop, including a mobile phone, and the instructor displayed a single question in real time on the screen and collected answers using private talk. Through this method, students' monitor screen, keyboard, mouse, and posture were monitored and controlled. As a result of the survey on the real-time online test, 93.8% of students answered that they were fair and satisfied overall, and 90.6% said they were willing to recommend the online test to others. In the upcoming future, remote lectures and online tests will become more active, so efforts should be made to gradually expand to other tests by developing a fairer, more systematic and easy-to-use online testing method.

  • In this paper, we present an emulation library for the essential features and their API function calls provided by Direct3D, the most actively used API for computer game-related application programs on the MS-Windows-based desktop's, with OpenGL library in the Linux environment. In typical Linux-based systems, only the X window system and OpenGL graphics library are available. There are lots of needs for this kind of emulation library to convert the Direct3D-based game applications and user interfaces on these systems. Through carefully selecting the essential API functions from the DirectX version 9.0, we obtained the prototype implementation of that emulation library, to finally get the final full-scale DirectX implementation. Our implementation currently covers 3D coordinate transformations, light and material processing, texture mapping, simple animation features and more. We showed its feasibility through successfully executing a set of Direct3D demonstration programs including a real-world game character animation on our implementation.

  • The existing USB connection type of the clip-type pulsmeter equipped with a Hall sensor and a permanent magnet does not have any error or malfunction to measure the pulse wave. The property of the wireless networking system communicating the pulse wave data through the wireless LAN communication by combination USB with Ethernet and Ethernet to Wi-Fi converting system instead of existing USB connection method was investigated. There are exited that the patient needs to stay at close site of the desktop PC without USB connector and the wireless transfer and receiver networking system has pulse wave measurement SW to receive the pulse wave data. Thus it is expected that the study becomes helpful to measure and transfer the exact pulse wave of the patient in a comfortable pose at close range.

  • Desktop computers, which were the main means of Internet use and information activity, were pushed out by smart devices that emphasized mobility and simplicity. The recent information production and consumption activities are performed through smart devices, but there is no input device for smart devices that can fully replace traditional input devices such as full-size PC compatible keyboards. Because of the small size of the virtual keyboard that uses the touch screen of the smart device, typographical error occurs at a high rate. In this paper, we propose a variable virtual keyboard that minimizes the typographical errors of the conventional virtual keyboards. The proposed method minimizes the user 's input error by adjusting the size of each key of the virtual keyboard based on accumulated dataset of position and pressure of the user' s input error even though there is no difference in the key position arrangement of the conventional virtual keyboards.

  • Currently, car black box, and CCTV products, such as image processing are prevalent on the market giving convenience to users. In particular, the black box of the driver driving a vehicle accident that occurred at the time to help identify the cause of the accident is gaining. Black box, the front or rear of the vehicle can check the image only. Because of the angle of view of the driver's vision or the black box can not determine a non-scene. In order to solve this problem by a more advanced system, the black box AVM (Around-View Monitoring) systems have been developed. AVM system to the vehicle's top-view images obtained before and after, left and right of the image, ie, $360^{\circ}$ image of the vehicle can be secured. AVM system must be installed on the vehicle, a desktop that you can acquire images Cling conditions. In this paper, we propose an Android-based tablet using the AVM system of the vehicle can achieve a $360^{\circ}$ image you want to design the system.

  • We proposed a method for improving a performance of TCP downstream between a desktop PC as a fixed host and a PDA as a mobile host in a wired and wireless network based on IEEE 802.11x wireless LAN. With data transmission between these heterogeneous terminals a receiving time during downstream is slower than that during upstream by 20% at maximum. The reason is that their congestion window size will be oscillated due to a significantly lower packet processing rate at receiver compared to a packet sending rate at sender. Thus it will cause to increase the number of control packets to negotiate their window size. To mitigate these allergies, we proposed two distinct methods. First, by increasing a buffer size of a PDA at application layer an internal processing speed of a socket receive buffer of TCP becomes faster and then the window size is more stable. However, a file access time in a PDA is kept nearly constant as the buffer size increases. With the buffer size of 32,768bytes the receiving time is faster by 32% than with that of 512bytes. Second, a delay between packets to be transmitted at sender should be given. With an inter-packet delay of 5ms at sender a resulting receiving time is faster by 7% than without such a delay.

  • NAND flash-based SSDs (Solid State Drive) have advantages of fast input/output performance and low power consumption so that they could be widely used as storages on tablet, desktop PC, smart-phone, and server. But, SSD has the disadvantage of wear-leveling due to increase of the number of writes. In order to improve the lifespan of the SSD, a variety of data deduplication techniques have been introduced. General fixed-size splitting method allocates fixed size of chunk without considering locality of data so that it may execute unnecessary chunking and hash key generation, and variable-size splitting method occurs excessive operation since it compares data byte-by-byte for deduplication. This paper proposes adaptive chunking method based on application locality and file name locality of written data in SSD-based server storage. The proposed method split data into 4KB or 64KB chunks adaptively according to application locality and file name locality of duplicated data so that it can reduce the overhead of chunking and hash key generation and prevent duplicated data writing. The experimental results show that the proposed method can enhance write performance, reduce power consumption and operation time compared to existing variable-size splitting method and fixed size splitting method using 4KB.
