  • In this paper, a flat-type $L_{-}$-$B_{8}$ mode Ultrasonic Motor[USM] having the size of 80 x 20 x ${1.5}mm^3$($l{\times}\omega{\times}t$) was designed and fabricated to examine the characteristics of an ultrasonic vibration. We used ANSYS simulation program based on FEM to get the optimum design of this USM. As results of experiment, the fastest speed of revolution(v), the maximum torque(T) and the efficiency(n) were 37.5cm/s, 5.0 mN.m and 1.17% when 27.9KHz, 150N, 50V were applied respectively. And this flat-type $L_{-}$-$B_{8}$ mode USM could be controlled the speed of rotor revolution by applied voltage, frequency and pre-load of rotor as well as showed the characteristics of typical drooping torque-speed, large torque and high speed. So, we think that this flat-type $L_{-}$-$B_{8}$ mode USM has characteristics of enough torque and velocity to be usable for applications in forwarding device of an electric card or a paper, etc.

  • As technologies have been developing, our lives are getting easier. Today we are surrounded by the new technologies such as AI and IoT. Moreover, the word, "smart" is a very broad one because we are trying to change our daily environment into smart one by using those technologies. For example, the traditional workplaces have changed into smart offices. Since the 3rd industrial revolution, we have used the touch interface to operate the machines. In the 4th industrial revolution, however, we are trying adding the speech recognition module to the machines to operate them by giving voice commands. Today many of the things are communicated with human by voice commands. Many of them are called AI things and they do tasks which users request and do tasks more than what users request. In the 4th industrial revolution, we use smartphones all the time every day from the morning to the night. For this reason, the privacy using phone is not guaranteed sometimes. For example, the caller's voice can be heard through the phone speaker when accepting a call. So, it is needed to protect privacy on smartphone and it should work automatically according to the user context. In this aspect, this paper proposes a method to adjust the voice volume for call to protect privacy on smartphone according to the user context.

  • The wave of Avant-garde swept away all in the unique social background so called 'October Revolution' and the early 1900 Russian society which was able to absorb and accept anything. The Russian avant-garde has been affected by the Cubism and the Futurism those had peculiarly appeared in the early twentieth century, spreaded out to three spheres: the Suprematism, the Rayonism and the Constructivism. The Russian Constructivism has appeared in this background, concretely and ideally ex-pressed the ideology of the revolution into the artistic form and made an huge influence to the whole Russian society. The Constructivist like Tatlin, naum Gabo, Pevaner, Rodchenko, Stepanova, Popova and Exter gave great effect on the Soviet Constructive fashion design in 1920's after the Revolution. The Soviet costume in 1920s hold in common the characteristicss of the Constructive graphic as it is, geometrical and abstractive form, energetic and motility. In fashion design, these graphic qualities have been showed as the application of geometrical form and architectural image, physical distortion and transformation. And in textile design, the simple, dynamical presentation has been appeared. We can classify the Soviet costume at this time into three occasions. The first term is from late 1910 th mid 1920, and it is altered from folk costume design to modern one. With Lamanova as the first on the list, using the folk mitif, the Constructive expression of simple form has been gradually revealed in design. Designers like Makarova, Pribylskaia and Mukhina produced the plane, simple chemise style with the decoration of the Russian traditional motif. From early to late 1920 is the second term, and it is at the pick of the most active processing of the Constructive design. Not only at the costume in daily life but also at the theatrical costume and textile, the con-structive design has been represented all avail-able fields. Many Constructivists including Stepanova, Popova, Exter and Rodchenko took part in the textile design and costume design so as to evlvo their aesthetic concept. The third term is from late 1920 to early 1930. The socialistic realism has dominated over the whole culture and art, the revolutionary dynamic motif has been presented also in textile design. The formative features of Soviet Constructive fashion design are; silhouette, from, motif, color and fabric. The first, the silhouette : a straight rectangular silhouetted has been expressed through the whole period and a volumed one with distorted human body shape has introduced in the theatrical costume design. The second, the form: many lengthened rectangular forms have been made at beginnings, but to the middle period, geometrical, architectural forms have been more showed and there are energy and movement in design. At the last period, only a partial feature-division has been seen. The third, the motif; no pattern or ethnic motif has been partly used at beginnings, a figure like circle, tri-angle has gradually appeared in textile design. At latter period, a real-existent motif like an airplane has been represented with graphing and simplicity. The fourth, the color ; because of insufficient dyeing, neutral color like black or grey color has been mainly covered, but after middle term, a primary color or pastel tone has been seen, contrast of the fabric; without much development of textile industry after the Revolution, thick and durable fabrics have been the main stream, but as time had going to the last period, fabrics such as linen, cotton, velvet and silk have been varously choesn. At the theatrical costume, new materials like plastics and metals that were able to accentuate the form. The pursuit of popularity, simplicity and functionalism that the basic concept of Constructive fashion is one of the "beauty" which has been searching in modern fashion. And now we can appreciate how innovative and epochal this Soviet Constructive fashion movement was.ement was.

  • Ideology which symbolizes the belief system about the order of human society represents itself in a concrete form through dress which reflects material and conceptual world. In the early 1960s Korea, where a civil revolution and a military coup took place, good examples of dress representing ideology could be found. This study investigates the dress representing ideology of the period, and examines its manifestation and aspect of transition. Literature survey and case study were conducted. The following results were obtained: First, dress representing ideology was symbolically verifying its differences and was changing with the course of time. There were the flow going down from the government, and the flow going up from the movement of the civilian. Through this process, design elements of ideological dress were combined in a dialectic way to form a new representational dress such as Jaegunbok. Second, costly and luxurious clothes meant a tool to rule over people, and the opposition was uniform meaning equality. In 1960 Korea, black waves of school uniforms appeared to lead the social change. A year later, the military government seized power in a 5.16 coup and it enforced uniform upon every people to achieve equal austerity and modernized spirit. Lastly, cotton, which was originated from Gandhi's movement in India, was symbolizing nationalism till the early 1960s in Korea meaning the funding own development with own resources.

  • In this study, we will analyze the classroom space of elementary schools that have implemented the Seoul Metropolitan Government's 'Dream Classroom' project and identify satisfaction and needs in terms of users. Primary school was selected and the composition and color of space was investigated by the present ministerial inspection. The survey was conducted on homeroom teachers and analyzed as SPSS/WIN Statistical Programme 22.0. The satisfaction level of space elements was verified by the technical statistical analysis, the general classroom and the 'classroom with dreams' difference in response t-test, the need for planning elements (criticality), and the difference in satisfaction with one way ANOVA. The space had the most separate, primary-colored classrooms. They preferred emotional factors and bright and light atmosphere for the lower grades, and the soft and soft atmosphere for the middle and high school students. The school preferred communication space with the community, proper play and relaxation space for the complex type of classroom. This will help set the direction for elementary school classroom space planning during the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
