In the diverse modern era, individuals are actively striving to develop and demonstrate their capabilities . As a means of cultivating interest in hanbok and differentiatedabilities , there exists a national qualification verification for hanbok technician. This study focuses on using Saekdong-jeogori pattern that is suitable for design and allows for accurate pattern production in a short time for beginners taking the practical test for hanbok technicians. We analyzed five experimental Saekdong-jeogori patterns, from which the final patterns for research were derived through appearance tests on the first table evaluation and the second outfit evaluation. The Saekdong-jeogori pattern-1 for research utilized the body values presented by beginners taking the hanbok technician qualification verification, while the rest were calculated or applied using equivalents. The godae point and armhole depth were calculated based on the chest circumference, and the armhole curve, sleeve shape, doryeon line, and sleeve-end were drawn, regardless of the changes in the figures, using equal parts. The Saekdong-jeogori pattern-2 provided activity by vertically lowering the side line from the end of the armhole, and the keotseop line was drawn by moving 1 cm from the width of the Kit to the armhole line. The seopko was raised 0.2 cm from the keotseop reference line and0.2cm , and was supplemented by its connection to a natural curve.

A study is carried out on investigation on pattern costs, identification of geometric parameters for the cost, and development of cost estimation models for casting patterns. Pattern costs for machine tool structures are collected and analyzed to identify the important geometric parameters that affect the costs. The parameters are used for the development of the costing models. It is found that the geometric parameters can be easily obtained from a CAD system and then the costing models estimate a pattern cost in a minimum time. The models are verified with the structures whose pattern cost was used for this study. It is expected that this costing models can evaluate the cost of casting structures of machine tools in search of a near-optimal design based on manufacturing cost and, for example, weight at the design stage.

Analyze the Android game framework that can be apply to the Application development of new areas and suggest Document-View pattern of a design pattern, design that this applies the Android framework(DVAGF) for novice Game programming learner. Case of Snake game development through DVAGF is supporting modularity of the code, reusability and expandability that seems that the learners can easily understand the game programming basic structure. In addition, the Android framework (DVAGF) seems to provide a basis that can be easily extended to 2D and 3D games.

We developed a pattern drafting computer program using a popular CAD program for the purpose of the automatic manufacturing and education based on the concept of the easy -order-system which can easily reflect body characteristics and design favors of individuals to the ready-made clothing. The programs were written in Auto LISP which can utilise most of frictions of the Auto CAD, and the result of the design for an full-pleated skirt was shown. Also, we devised an easy way to set the location of reference points by inputting of tangential angle only for the use of the cubic spline curve which can represent body shape very well. Finally, by marking down all of symbols needed in manufacturing process, we completed the automatic pattern drafting program to make it useful as an industrial pattern without any amendment or correction in cutting and sewing operation.

The purpose of this study is to design t-shirts by using doggaebi patterns as traditional cultural products. Byuksa has the meaning of keeping away wicked spirits and to receiving good fortune. Most of the pictures of magpies, tigers, dragons, hawks, and roosters contain the meaning of protection and the doggaebi pattern is a typical Byuksa pattern. By way of example of product development, this study will develop designs by using doggaebi patterns and promote beautiful Korean traditional patterns as well as Korean traditional culture. The reason for choosing the T-shirt is because T-shirts are a basic item that all people have and wear, so Koreans and foreigners get interested in them and buy them. This study presents designs for 5 kinds of t-shirts for adults and another five kinds for kids using doggaebi patterns. This study was limited to the doggaebi pattern, so it is expected more studies about patterns and many cultural products will develop.

To analyze the design of Christian Dior, 216 pieces of Dior's works were collected and studied from the COLLECTION(Seoul: Dong Ah TV) from 2003 to 2005. The result is as follows. In recent three year period, Christian Dior maintained the feminine image and implemented different additions such as sexy, ethnic, avant-garde and casual image in every season. Also, to reflect a new trend or fashion sense, images of ethnic, retro, hippie or vintage were applied. In using color, different main color(YR, R, Y, BG, RP, B) were chosen every season to pursue variations. For the pattern usage, feminine beauty was presented by numerous applications of flowered pattern. Also the practice of pattern and hue in different rations in every season pursued variations in design.

The present study examines the micro-pattern replication on a plastic film using ultrasonic imprinting. Ultrasonic imprinting uses ultrasonic waves to generate repetitive microscale deformation in the polymer film. The resulting deformation heat on the surface of the film causes the surface region to soften sufficiently so that a replication of the micro-pattern can be obtained. To successfully replicate the micro-pattern on a large area of polymer film, a high replication ratio is needed as well as good uniformity over the entire region. In this study, a horn design is investigated by finite element analysis and is optimized through a response surface analysis. In the ultrasonic imprinting experiments, the response surface method was also used to determine the optimal processing conditions for better replication characteristics.

Ukiyo-e is the representative genre-painting of Japan, dominant during the 17th century Edo-Period (1503-1867). Ukiyo-e is mainly focused on expressing the lives of geishas, sumo wrestlers, and kabuki characters, who were the center of the Japanese amusement culture, and gained popular acceptance in Europe when it was first introduced in the late 19th century in the form of Japonism, having significant influence and impact on the impressionist artists of the time and on the design of western cloths. In this papers, we will be primarily conducting a historical study on the development of the Ukiyo-e, a representative genre-painting of Japan, and conduct a in-depth analysis of pattern expressed in the Kosode of women, represented through various different works of art. In order to conduct a thorough analysis of pattern expressed in Ukiyo-e, we collected over 255 pieces of materials from existing foreign paintings as well as museums in the National Museum of Tokyo, Edo Museum, and the Harajuku Museum of Ukiyo-e. This papers seeks to analyze and classify patterns expressed in the works of Ukiyo-e and research the characteristics express in the pattern to contribute to the development of fabrics in the modern fashion design industry.

Apartment is characterized by its various households occupying a unit each in the same building, and its shared space is important in that it supports the living, exchange of information and communication between neighbors, thereby creating a sense of community. This study focused on coming up with designs to vitalize the shared space in the apartment, and to do that, Christopher Alexander's pattern language was applied to analyze the patterns found in the apartment shared space, find improvements and propose the design methods that reflect the unique characteristics of designs in Korea. The study is mainly based on literary review and field research. (1) The definition and composition of shared space and Christopher Alexander's pattern language are examined; (2) The field research is performed to analyze the patterns in the shared space of the apartments that have been planned recently in order to find the problems and elements that can be improved; and The above is reflected and proposed as a design method. The study will help rediscover the significance of space by proposing the methodology for shared space design, encouraging the use of shared space and contributing to the enhancement of community.

The So-ban of today was used in the pattern element which is form freely to appear, dual anger there is a possibility of knowing the fact that it is turning out with the So-ban which expresses a geometric pattern with the present-day sense. Today of the So-ban it will pattern it will rightly use Beak-je, the feature person who is the possibility this pattern showing It is soft with the sharp, soft beauty of curved line and rectilinear which is refined, omission and emphasizing which are bold today It applied in So-ban design.
