  • In this paper seeks the parameter which relates with the efficiency from premium efficiency level single-phase induction motor. Also it compares with the parameters and it analyzes and an optimum parameter it seeks by FEM. Consquently, a optimal design is accomplished from the this paper. Also parameters compare efficiency. And it analyzes and studies about optimum parameter by FEM. The sample single-phase induction motor selection selected existing premium level motor. We analyze each parameter using 2-D finite element analysis (FEM). According to Study of losses and Design flow, losses and efficiency can be explain by many parameter. So this paper present optimal parameters. Finally, this paper presents the method which raises the efficiency of premium efficiency level single-phase induction motor.

시멘트계 고화재에 의해 혼합처리된 지반의 설계정수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design-parameter of Mixed Ground by Using Cement-type Stabilizer)

  • The application of stabilization method has increased because of short construction periods, no environmental problems with dumped and replaced soil, assurance of required strength and economical effect with mid to small size construction. The unconfined and triaxial(UU-condition) compression tests were executed with each mixing sample for the study of the improvement effects and the effect of design-parameters by the stabilization methods. Three typical stabilizers, which are representative in Korea, were applied in this study, and three common soils(very soft clay, general weathered soil, common clay), which are common in Korea, were used in this study. In this study, the effect of engineering factors(soils, stabilizers and water contents, etc.) which are important parameters for the improvement effects of mixed ground by stabilizers, was analyzed. As results, the tendencies of design-parameters(unconfined compression strength, deformation modulus and strength parameter) are presented and the criteria of the application of stabilization methods are suggested.

  • When designing the parameter on the multiple quality characteristics, there has been a study for optimization of problems, but there has been few former study on the possible conflicting phenomena in consideration of the correlations among the characteristics. To solve the issue on the optimal design for multiple quality characteristics, this study modelled the expected loss function with cross-product terms among the characteristics and derived range of the coefficients of the terms. The model will be used to determine the global optimal design parameters where there exists the conflict among the characteristics, which shows difference in optimal design parameters for the individual characteristics.

  • This paper describes the program of optimally choosing parameter in designing inductor, which applied by fuzzy theory, and verifies the reliability of program to use in design of power supply of electronic machine and information communication. It is available to find optimal value of complex and various parameter, such as core, winding, winding number, and air-gap, etc., needed on designing inductor. We expects to minimize time and cost of inductor design.

  • 본 연구는 한국형 유압드릴에 적합한 고출력 드리프터 개발을 위해 해석모델 개발 및 설계변수 민감도 분석을 목표로 한다. 이러한 연구는 설계변수 민감도 분석을 통하여 각각의 설계인자들이 타격성능에 미치는 영향을 파악함으로써 타격성능 및 안정성 향상을 위한 최적화 작업에 기틀을 마련하는 연구이다. 본 연구를 진행하는 순서는 다음과 같다. 먼저 드리프터의 동역학 해석모델을 개발하고 해석결과와 실험결과를 비교하여 해석모델의 신뢰성을 확보한다. 그 후 한국형 유압드릴에 적합하도록 드리프터를 재설계하며, 마지막으로 재설계된 드리프터의 설계변수 민감도 분석을 실시하여 타격성능에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 상위민감도를 가진 변수들을 추출한다. 드리프터의 해석모델은 다물리 해석 소프트웨어인 SimulationX를 사용하여 모델링 하였으며, 설계변수 민감도 분석은 EasyDesign을 사용하여 진행하였다.

  • Hull form generation and variation methods to be mainly discussed in this study are based on the fairness optimized B-Spline form parameter curves (FOBFC). These curves can be used both as indirect modification function for variation and as geometric entities for hull form generation. The flexibility and functionality of geometric control technique play the most important role for the success of hull form optimization. This study shows the hydrodynamic optimization process and the characteristics of optimum design hull forms of a 14,000TEU containership and 60K LPG carrier. SHIPFLOW has been used as a CFD solver and FS-Framework as a geometric modeler and optimizer.

  • SSPA experiences a growing interest in twin skeg ships as one attractive green ship solution. The twin skeg concept is well proven with obvious advantages for the design of ships with full hull forms, restricted draft or highly loaded propellers. SSPA has conducted extensive hull optimizations studies of LNG ships of different size based on an extensive hull data base with over 7,000 models tested, including over 400 twin skeg hull forms. Main hull dimensions and different hull concepts such as twin skeg and single screw were of main interest in the studies. In the present paper, one twin skeg and one single screw 170 K LNG ship were designed for optimally selected main dimension parameters. The twin skeg hull was further optimized and evaluated using SHIPFLOW FRIENDSHIP design package by performing parameter variation in order to modify the shape and positions of the skegs. The finally optimized models were then built and tested in order to confirm the lower power demand of twin skeg designed compaed with the signle screw design. This paper is a full description of one of the design developments of a LNG twin skeg hull, from early dimensional parameter study, through design optimization phase towards the confirmation by model tests.

수소압축기 내장 충전탱크용 벨로우즈의 형상 파라미터 변화에 따른 구조 성능 고찰 (Study on Structural Performance by Shape Parameter Variation of Bellows for the Hydrogen Compressor-embedded Refueling Tank)

  • In this study, design parameter exploration based on finite element analysis was performed to find the optimal shape of bellows, the key component of compressor-embedded refueling tank for a newly developed hydrogen refueling station capable of high-pressure charging above 900 bar. In the design parametric study, the design variables took into account the bellows shapes such as contour radius and span spacing, and the response factors were set to the maximum stress and the gap in the contact direction. In the shape design of the compressor bellows for hydrogen refueling station considered in this study, it was found that adjusting the contour span is an appropriate design method to improve the compression performance and structural safety. From the selection of optimal design, the maximum stress was reduced to 49% compared to the initial design without exceeding the material yield stress.

  • 일반적으로 설계파라미터 변경에 의한 구조물의 동특성변화를 예측하는 연구에 비해 동특성 변화로부터 변경된 설계파라미터를 예측하는 연구는 잘 알려져 있지 않다. 여기에서는 감도계수와 반복법을 사용하여 비례감쇠계의 변경된 설계파라미터를 예측하였다. 감도계수는 변경에 의한 고유벡터의 변화로부터 구하였다. 이 방법을 3 층 전단 구조물에 적용하여 변경된 설계 파라미터를 예측하였으며 재 해석한 결과와 잘 일치함을 알았다.

  • Taguchi´s parameter design is to determine the optimal settings of design parameters of a product or a process such that the characteristics of a product exhibit small variabilities around their targer values. His analysis of the problem has focused only on a single characteristic or response. However the quality of most products is seldom defined by a characteristic, and is rather the composite of a great number of characteristics which are often interrelated and nearly always measured in a variety of units. The critical problem in dealing with multiple characteristics is how to compromise the conflict among the selected levels of the design parameters for each individual characteristic. In this paper, Methodology using SN ratio optimized by unvariate technique is proposed and a parameter design procedure to achieve the optimal compromise among several different response variables is developed. One existing case study is solved by the proposed method and the results are compared with ones by the sum of SN ratios, the expected weighted loss, the desirability functions, and EXTOPSIS model.
