사용자의 지속적이며 자발적인 참여를 위한 게임화 기반의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템 설계 (Gamified Contents Management System design for continuous and voluntary participation of Users)

  • 콘텐츠에서 자발적인 사용자 참여를 유도하고 유지하는 것은 매우 어렵지만 중요한 일이다. 그 예로 많은 인터넷 콘텐츠 등에서 사용자들의 참여와 그 유지를 위해 금전적 보상을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 금전적 보상처럼 외재적 동기만을 자극하는 등의 방식으로는 한계가 있으며, 콘텐츠의 대한 지속적이고 자발적인 사용자 참여를 얻기 위해서는 정교한 설계와 관리가 필요하다. 이를 위해, Gamified Learning Management System의 예를 참고하여, 기존의 Contents Management System(CMS)을 확장한 게임화 기반의 CMS(Gamified CMS)를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 사용자의 콘텐츠에 대한 참여와 몰입을 증대시키고자 한다.

컴퓨터 평가 기반 학습 시스템 설계 및 개발 연구 (A Study on the Design and Development of Computer Based Learning and Test System)

  • The purpose of this study is to design and develop a computer based learning and test system, which supports not only testing learner's ability but also learning contents with giving feedback and hint. In order to design and develop a computer based learning and test system, Visual Basic dot Net software is used. The system works in three stages: sequential problem solving stage, randomized problem solving stage, and the challenge stage of pass/fail. The results of this study are as follows: (a) We propose the context of design for the computer based learning and test system. (b) We design and develop items display function with sequential and random algorithm in this system. (c) We design and develop pass/fail function by applying SPRT(Sequential Probability Ratio Testing) algorithm in the computer based learning and test system.

영어 어휘 학습을 위한 모바일 콘텐츠의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Mobile Contents for Learning English Vocabulary)

  • 이동 통신과 휴대용 컴퓨터의 통합은 개인과 집단에게 언제 어디서나 학습할 수 있는 기술 개발 기회를 제공하였다. 본 논문에서는 교육용 모바일 콘텐츠를 위한 학습 모델을 제시하고, 영어 어휘 학습을 위한 모바일 콘텐츠를 구현한다. 그 모바일 콘텐츠는 두 부분: 어휘 학습, 어휘 평가로 구성된다. 어휘 학습에서는 모바일 학습자에게 영어 어휘를 제시할 뿐만 아니라 원어민의 발음도 제공한다. 그리고 학습 성취도는 게임 형식의 퀴즈 프로그램에 의해 평가된다. 따라서 영어 어휘 학습을 위한 제안된 원형 시tm템은 에듀테인먼트 모바일 학습을 위한 개인 모바일 시스템의 견본으로써 설계되고 구현되었다.

  • 본 논문의 연구 목적은 공개 학습활동관리시스템 종류 중 하나 인 LAMS를 이용하여 학습자들의 알고리즘적인 사고력을 키우며 다양한 학습 활동을 통하여 학습에 대한 흥미를 느끼게 해주는 데 있다. LAMS는 다양한 학습 환경에서 교수자가 설계한 대로 학습자가 학습할 수 있도록 시각적인 학습 디자인 제작 환경을 제공하며 또한 순차적인 학습 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 논리적인 사고를 향상시키기 위해 컴퓨터의 기본이 되는 데이터 정렬 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 설계한 콘텐츠를 초등학생을 대상으로 학습을 수행 한 후 설문조사를 실시한 결과 대다수의 응답자들이 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 반면 데이터 정렬 알고리즘뿐만 아니라 컴퓨터와 관련된 다양한 종류의 콘텐츠들이 제공 되었으면 좋겠다라고 응답한 응답자도 있었다. 향후에는 초 중등 교과 과정에서 컴퓨터 교육에 대한 콘텐츠와 개념적인 원리가 추가, 수정되어야 할 필요가 있으며, 또한 대중적인 학습관리시스템을 만들기 위해 노력할 것이다.

웹 기반의 기초간호자연과학 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 개발 -심장의 구조와 기능을 중심으로- (Multimedia Contents Development of Web-based Basic Nursing Physical Science -Centered on Structure and Function of Heart-)

  • This study was conducted to develop web-based distance learning program of basic nursing physical science which was composed of a multimedia contents such as documents, voices and pictures. This was to advance curriculum of basic nursing physical science based on a proper nursing characteristics related to other major nursing subjects and induce a new and creative method to gain a knowledge. Based on a general learning design model, distance learning program was developed centered on a structure and function of heart physical science in 1999. The stages of development were like this. Firstly, at the analytic stage, specific units and contents for developing multimedia contents were decided and presentation methods for each item were designed and then the evaluation items were developed. Secondly, at the design stage, the most effective design of multimedia construction was selected and interfaces, basic frames, and presentation elements were chosen. Thirdly, at the developmental stage, internet files were designed using Namo web editor 4.0 and this files were modified with Adobe Photoshop.

Online Collaborative Language Learning for Enhancing Learner Motivation and Classroom Engagement

  • This study examines the impact of online collaborative English language learning to enhance learner motivation and classroom engagement in university English instruction. The role of learner motivation and classroom engagement has gained much attention under the premises of current constructivist framework of English as a foreign language education. To promote learner motivation and classroom interaction in English instruction, participants in this study engaged in integrative English learning activities through online group collaboration and peer-tutoring. They exchanged productive peer response and shared their learning experiences throughout the integrative English learning activities. Digital technology played an integral role in motivating the learning process of the participants. Data for this study were gathered through an online questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed based on the ARCS motivational model of instructional design to identify the motivational aspects of integrative English learning activities. This study reveals that participants of this study regarded online collaborative English learning activities as the positive and motivating learning experience. The online collaborative English reading instruction had positive effect on improving EFL university students' learning performance. Participants of this study also identified affective and metacognitive benefits of online collaborative EFL learning activities for learner motivation and classroom engagement. This study reveals that the social networking platform in online group collaboration played a crucial role for the participants in understanding the integration of online group collaboration as the positive and effective language learning strategy. This study may have implications in suggesting the effective instructional design for promoting learner motivation and classroom interaction in EFL education.

중학교 가정과 CAI 프로그램 개발 연구 -건강과 식생활 단원- (The Development of CAI Program for the Middle School Home Economics Teaching -In The Units of Health and Food Life-)

  • The purpose of this study was to review the literatures on designing and developing the CAI program and to develop the middle school students’CAI program for tutorial and instructional game. For these purposes, the learning and instructional theories and the developing phases and strategies for the program were reviewed to design the CAI program. And then the developing unit was selected and the CAI types and the developing direction were set according to the analysis of the CAI programs and related literatures on home economics teaching, The four phases-analysis, design, development, and formative evaluation-were carried out in this study. The results of this study are as following: 1. The CAI porgram was developed on health and food life units. The program contains 12 classes on health and food life in two floppy diskettes. It consisted of total 9,000 lines and 76 frame and takes two hours to study this program. This program could be used in educational computers an could be utilized for unit learing tutorial. It was composed of three parts-unit learning, finding maze, and finding food. In the unit learning part, the learning contents in health and food life units were structured and presented. In finding maze and food part, the basic and the applied problems were presented with game. The characteristics of this program were as followings: (1)This program was able to bring learners’motivation due to the strategies of tutorial and instructional game and they can interestingly learn the program for themselves. (2) The learner could practive the learning contents repeatedly and unit learning while playing the gaming, (3) The learner himself can review and supplement the learning contents without teacher’s help. (4) This program was developed to unit learning on health and food life, on the other hand so far many CAI programs for home economics teaching were developed for studying separate learning units. 2. To effectively utilize this program, the guide book for the student and the teacher was developed. It contained method of using the program, introduction of the program, review of the program, the program objectives, the learning contents, and the keys to progress the program.

Development of Digital Contents to Improve Computational Thinking

  • The purpose of this study is to design and develop of digital contents to improve computational thinking in the online education environment. First, we planned the design and development of contents with 19 experts of Software education. Digital content was designed from the point of view of improving the educational quality and the quality of contents for the improve of computing thinking. The content type is classified into the SW education area; computer science, programming, physical computing, convergent computing, computing thinking, and software education that improves the computing thinking. And we designed 45 learning programs for each SW education area. Designed learning contents were developed in 464 lessons to suit the online education environment. The content validity of the proposed content was verified by the expert group and the average CVI value was over .83. Through this, we could analyze that the developed contents will help learners to expand their computing thinking.

e-Learning 시스템을 위한 XML기반 효율적인 교육 컨텐츠의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Contents based on XML for Efficient e-Learning System)

  • 본 연구는 효율적인 e-Learning 컨텐츠를 제공하기 위하여 개념적으로 표준화된 XML 컨텐츠 구조를 정의, 설계에 관한 내용이며 이를 쉽게 생성하기 위한 XML컨텐츠 프로토타입 생성기를 구현에 관한 내용이다. 또한 생성된 XML 컨텐츠를 학습자의 요구에 맞는 학습에 제공하기 위하여 사례기반 추론과 베이지안 확률에 의한 검색 방법을 응용.구현하였다. 이를 통하여 기존의 HTML기반 e-Learning System에서는 제공할 수 없었던 컨텐츠의 커스터마이즈화와 표준화를 이룰 수 있으며 학습자 수준에 맞는 적응형 컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있다. 이의 효율성을 평가하기 위해서 실제 e-Learning 시스템의 자바 학습에 적용하였으며 검색 결과를 통해 그 효율성을 입증하였다.

SCORM 기반의 컨텐츠 재사용을 위한 상속 모델 (Inheritance Model for Reuse of Learning Contents based on SCORM)

  • SCORM은 교육용 컨텐츠를 SCO라는 객체 단위로 공유하고 재사용하기 위한 국제적 표준이다. 그러나 유사 영역에서의 학습 컨텐츠 재사용시 컨텐츠의 일부분을 변경해야 할 경우에도 컨텐츠 원본을 수정해야 하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 상속이 가능한 컨텐츠를 개발할 수 있는 I-SCO 모델을 제안한다. I-SCO 모델은 SCORM 기반 컨텐츠의 오버로딩과 오버라이딩을 통한 상속을 지원하여 컨텐츠의 재사용성을 증대시킨다. 실험에서는 제안한 I-SCO 모델을 설계 및 구현하여 ADL에서 배포하는 실행환경에서 실행시켜 봄으로써 컨텐츠의 상속 기능을 확인하고 I-SCO 모델의 타당성을 입증한다.
