  • 도시화 속도의 증가와 더불어 3차원 자료 획득의 출처가 다양해지연서, 도로 및 건물경계선과 같은 선형 GIS 정보에 대한 신속한 갱신 또한 요구되고 있다. 임의의 출처 자료로부터 대상 자료를 갱신하기 위해서는 가장 먼저 두 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정하여야 하며, 특히 영상정보와 같은 출처 자료와 GIS 자료와 같은 대상 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정하기 위하여 기존에 제시되어온 대부분의 방법들은 두 개 자료간의 관계를 정의 할 수 있는 기준정과 같은 정확한 점 정합 요소(point matching entities)를 요구하고 있다. 따라서 정확한 정합 요소들을 획득할 수 없는 경우 영상과 GIS 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정할 수 없을뿐더러 위치 관계 정립의 결과는 정합 요소들의 분포 및 정확도에 매우 의존하게 된다. 또한 이러한 점 정합 요소들을 정의하기 위해서는 대부분의 경우 수동적으로 이루어질 수밖에 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 영상 및 GIS 자료의 선형 정보를 이용하여 정확한 점 정합 요소들을 모르더라도 영상과 GIS 자료간의 위치 관계를 결정할 수 있는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 사용된 알고리즘은 개선된 Hough 변환(Modified Hough Transform)을 기반으로 다수의 선형 정보 중에 정합되는 요소들을 자동으로 찾아내고 이들을 최소제곱법으로 풀이함으로써 두 데이터간의 기하학적 변환 관계를 결정하는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 접근을 통해 데이터간의 기하학적 변환 관계를 결정한 후, 영상 상에는 존재하지만 GIS 자료에는 존재하지 않는 선형 정보에 대한 갱신 여부를 확인하고 갱신함으로써 3차원 위치 자료의 자동 생성에 대한 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.로 갈수록 퇴적이 우세한 것으로 관측되었다.보체계의 구축사업의 시각이 행정정보화, 생활정보화, 산업정보화 등 다양한 분야와 결합하여 보다 큰 시너지 효과와 사용자 중심의 서비스 개선을 창출할 수 있는 기반을 제공할 것을 기대해 본다.. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped.   • Landsat TM 영상을 이용, 명암차가 높은 산악 지역에 적용해왔던 알고리즘을 개선하여 비교적 명암차가 낮고 넓게 분포하는 충적층 지역의 선구조를 추출하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 수치지형모델(OEM)에 대하여 Local Enhancement 를 이용해서 평탄한 지역을 선정하여 이로부터 충적층을 추출하였다. Zevenbergen & Thorno's Method를 3×3 moving windowing을 통해서 최대 경사방향과 경사를 구해서 충적층을 지나는 선구조 요소를 추출하고 다시 Hough 변환을 이용해서 1차 선구조를 추출하였다 이를 이용하여 충적층의 직각방향의 지형단면의 경사를 유추해서 spline 보간법을 이용해 단면의 최저점을 구하고 이 구해진 점들을 다시 Hough 변환을 이용해서 최종 선구조를 추출하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 알고리즘은 기존 알고리즘에서 사용된 소창문보다 훨씬 큰 충적층이 분포하는 지역의 지형 경사가 수렴하는 부분에 선구조가 뚜렷이 나타남을 볼 수 있다. 최대경사방향과 경사를 구해서 얻어진 1 차선구조와 최종 선구조에서 선구조 방향이 다소 차이를 보인다. 1 차 선구조의 수직방향 지형단면의 자료를 이용함에 있어, 지형 단면의 시작정과 끝지점을 임의적으로 결정하는 것이 아니라, 충적층을 가로질러 최고점까지 또는 다음 충적층이 나을 때까지의 자료를 이용해서 보간법을 사용하였고, 충적층의 넓이에 따라 보간할 자료량의 차이에 의한 오차가 발생할 수 있다. 넓은 충적층에서 선구조가 잘 추출되는 반면에 좁은 충적층이 분포하거나 계곡에 해당하는 지역에l서는 경사수렴부와 일치하지 않는 선구조가 추출되었다. 이는 향후 계속적으로 연구해서 보완되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.페클 잡영 제거 정도에 있어 다른 필터들과 큰 차이가 없지만 경계선보존지수는 다른 필터들에 비하여 가장 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다.rbon 탐식효율을 조사한 결과 B, D 및 E 분획에서 유의적인 효과를 나타내었다. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped.   • Harmful air pollutants are exhausted from the various industrial facilities including the coal-fired thermal power plants and these substances affects on the human health as well as the nature environment. In particular, nitrogen oxides ($NO_x$) and sulfur dioxide ($SO_2$) are known to be causative substances to form fine particles ($PM_{2.5}$), which are also deleterious to human health. The integrated system composed of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) have been widely applied in order to control $NO_x$ and $SO_2$ emissions, resulting in high investment and operational costs, maintenance problems, and technical limitations. Recently, new technologies for the simultaneous removal of $NO_x$ and $SO_2$ from the flue gas, such as absorption, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), non-thermal plasma (NTP), and electron beam (EB), are investigated in order to replace current integrated systems. The proposed technologies are based on the oxidation of $NO_x$ and $SO_2$ to $HNO_3$ and $H_2SO_4$ by using strong aqueous oxidants or oxidative radicals, the absorption of $HNO_3$ and $H_2SO_4$ into water at the gas-liquid interface, and the neutralization with additive reagents. In this paper, we summarize the technical improvements of each simultaneous abatement processes and the future prospect of technologies for demonstrating large-scaled applications.

User's emotion while browsing 3D web interfaces (3D 웹 인터페이스 브라우징에서의 사용자 감성어휘 도출)

  • This paper examines users' emotion from both 2D and 3D web interfaces and finds their differences. First, 77 words representing users' emotion were collected from the previous research papers. Second, a web survey system was developed using these collected words and prepared 3 web interface prototypes to collect users' emotions from different types of web interfaces. Finally, a web survey was conducted and its results were analyzed. The result of the survey showed that there were emotional words that were commonly experienced from either 2D or 3D web interfaces. However, it also showed that there were emotional differences between 2D and 3D web interface; 3D web interfaces provide users with specific emotional experiences because of their own characteristics - depth and dynamic movement. It is believed that the words collected from the survey could be the criteria to evaluate the quality of the 3D web interfaces and encourage the research on users' emotion from 3D interfaces.

  • The Main payload of the STSAT-3 (Korea Science & Technology Satellite-3), MIRIS (Multipurpose Infra-Red Imaging System) has been developed for last 3 years by KASI, and its Flight Model (FM) is now being developed as the final stage. All optical lenses and the opto-mechanical components of the FM have been completely fabricated with slight modifications that have been made to some components based on the Engineering Qualification Model (EQM) performances. The components of the telescope have been assembled and the test results show its optical performances are acceptable for required specifications in visual wavelength (@633 nm) at room temperature. The ensuing focal plane integration and focus test will be made soon using the vacuum chamber. The MIRIS mechanical structure of the EQM has been modified to develop FM according to the performance and environment test results. The filter-wheel module in the cryostat was newly designed with Finite Element Analysis (FEM) in order to compensate for the vibration stress in the launching conditions. Surface finishing of all components were also modified to implement the thermal model for the passive cooling technique. The FM electronics design has been completed for final fabrication process. Some minor modifications of the electronics boards were made based on EQM test performances. The ground calibration tests of MIRIS FM will be made with the science grade Teledyne PICNIC IR-array.

  • In order to improve the productivity and quality of boat's mold in leisure boat industry, the development of modelling and machining technology of leisure boat's plug is strongly required. The traditional lines drawing approach by hand required the designer to both create fair curves and to make sure that the curves matched up to each other in the three main drawing views: profile, plan, and section. However, one will find when studying lines drawings in books that the curves might look smooth and fair, but the lines do not agree exactly in the three views. Therefore, the 2 dimensional drawing data of leisure boat are transformed using 3 dimensional design s/w and CAM s/w. In addition, the leisure boat is designed with a 3 dimensional s/w. The NC cutting data are generated by the CAM s/w. The surface characteristics of machined surface are investigated at various cutting conditions such as spindle speed, feed speed, and cutting material.

  • Alkyl vinyl ethers such as methyl vinyl ether, propyl vinyl ether, isopropyl vinyl ether, butyl vinyl ether and isobutyl vinyl ether are usually used as industrial solvents and chemical intermediates in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Recently, they are popularly used as raw materials for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells and as cellulose dyeing assistants. However, very few investigations about process design and operation data were reported for alkyl vinyl ether compounds and there are no data for propyl vinyl ether(PVE) systems as far as we know. In this work, the isothermal VLE data are reported at 333.15 K for the ternary systems of {PVE + ethanol + benzene} by using headspace gas chromatography(HSGC) and these VLE data were correlated using Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC equations. The excess volumes($V^E$) and deviations in molar refractivity(${\Delta}R$) data are also reported for the sub binary systems {PVE + ethanol}, {ethanol + benzene} and {PVE + benzene} at 303.15 K. These data were correlated with Redlich-Kister equation. In addition, isoclines of $V^E$ and DR for ternary system {PVE + ethanol + benzene} were also calculated from Radojkovi equation.

A Study on the Design of a Fake News Management Platform Based on Citizen Science (시민과학 기반 가짜뉴스 관리 플랫폼 연구)

  • With the development of information technology, fake news is becoming a serious social problem. Individual measures to manage the problem, such as fact-checking by the media, legal regulation, or technical solutions, have not been successful. The flood of fake news has undermined not only trust in the media but also the general credibility of social institutions, and is even threatening the foundations of democracy. This is why one cannot leave fake news unchecked, though it is certainly a difficult task to accomplish. The problem of fake news is not about simply judging its veracity, as no news is completely fake or unquestionably real and there is much uncertainty. Therefore, managing fake news does not mean removing them completely. Nor can the problem be left to individuals' capacity for rational judgment. Recurring fake news can easily disrupt individual decision making, which raises the need for socio-technical measures and multidisciplinary collaboration. In this study, we introduce a new public online platform for fake news management, which incorporates a multidimensional and multidisciplinary approach based on citizen science. Our proposed platform will fundamentally redesign the existing process for collecting and analyzing fake news and engaging with user reactions. People in various fields would be able to participate in and contribute to this platform by mobilizing their own expertise and capability.

An Empirical Evaluation Scheme for Pedestrian Environment by Integrated Approach to TOD Planning Elements (TOD 계획 요소의 통합적 접근을 통한 친보행 환경의 평가 방안)

  • In order to resolve transportation system focused on vehicles which have led to all sorts of problems such as traffic congestion, air pollution and so on, Korea recently have tended to center around Transit Oriented Development(TOD) which is capable of initiating public traffic demands. It is imperative to develop objective evaluation method which is able to measure pedestrian environment and amenity in order to facilitate green transit. The purpose of this paper is to present evaluation indices and measurement framework of pedestrian environment by analyzing effect on TOD major planning factors such as diversity, density, design, and supply etc. For this, we applied evaluation index with regard to TOD planning factors, investigating connection to pedestrian and employed AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) so as to quantify the result of measurement in Jongro 3ga and Hangangjin station. As a result, we presented relationship between travel patterns of pedestrian and each TOD planning factor. More importantly, the proposed framework is expected to make the best of the visualization as well as evaluation method for the pedestrian accessibility, convenience of public transportation, and the mixed land-use patterns in subway area and transit center.

A Bloom Filter Application of Network Processor for High-Speed Filtering Buffer-Overflow Worm (버퍼 오버플로우 웜 고속 필터링을 위한 네트워크 프로세서의 Bloom Filter 활용)

  • Network solutions for protecting against worm attacks that complement partial end system patch deployment is a pressing problem. In the content-based worm filtering, the challenges focus on the detection accuracy and its performance enhancement problem. We present a worm filter architecture using the bloom filter for deployment at high-speed transit points on the Internet, including firewalls and gateways. Content-based packet filtering at multi-gigabit line rates, in general, is a challenging problem due to the signature explosion problem that curtails performance. We show that for worm malware, in particular, buffer overflow worms which comprise a large segment of recent outbreaks, scalable -- accurate, cut-through, and extensible -- filtering performance is feasible. We demonstrate the efficacy of the design by implementing it on an Intel IXP network processor platform with gigabit interfaces. We benchmark the worm filter network appliance on a suite of current/past worms, showing multi-gigabit line speed filtering prowess with minimal footprint on end-to-end network performance.
