사출제품 및 금형의 통합적 설계지원을 위한 지식형 CAD 시스템 (A Knowledge-based CAD System for product and Mold Design in Injection Molding)

  • The design of injection molded polymeric parts has been done empirically, since it requires profound knowledge about the moldability and causal effects on the properties of the part, which are not available to designers through current CAD systems. An interactive computer-based design system is developed in order to realize the concept of rational design for the productivity and quality of mold making. The knowledge-based CAD system is constructed by adding the knowledge -base module for mold feature synthesis and appropriate CAE programs for mold design analysis in order to provide designers, at the initial design stage, with comprehensive process knowledge for feature synthesis, performance analysis and feature-based geometric modeling. A knowledge-based CAD system is a new tool which enables the concurrent design with integrated and balanced design decisions at the initial design stage of injection molding.

  • 세계는 지식정보사회(knowledge information society)에 돌입하였다. 정보기술은 지식경영을 등장시킨 요인중의 하나이며 지식경영발전을 가속화시키는 원동력이라고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 최근 정보기술과 인터넷은 눈부신 발전을 해오고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 급변하는 디지털 환경하의 방대한 인터넷 데이터에서 웹 데이터 마이닝을 통해 고객에 대한 숨겨진 지식을 창출하고, 그 지식을 지식경영프레임웍에 적용한 지식-기반디자인 패러다임을 구축하여 디지털 환경에서 실시간에 고객에 대한 유용한 지식을 창출하여 고객의 욕구를 충족시키는 디자인을 개발 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 먼저 이론적 고찰에서 지식경영프로세스와 웹 데이터 마이닝에 관련된 다양한 사전 연구들을 살펴보고 지식경영프로세스와 웹 데이터 마이닝을 결합하여 새로운 지식-기반 디자인 패러다임(본 연구에서는 웹 데이터 마이닝과 지식경영프로세스가 통합하여 구현된 진정한 의미의 eCRM을 지식-기반 디자인패러다임이라 칭한다)을 제안한다.

  • The increasing complexity of modem products requires the effective management of design knowledge, which partly resides in the product itself on the one hand. On the other hand, a lot of knowledge is gathered and/or generated during the design process, but disappears as the design project concludes. This paper describes a knowledge representation method to accommodate the implicit design knowledge. The method is based on the FBS(Function-Behavior-Structure) model and extends the object ontology with constraint entity. An example to represent the injection mold design knowledge is given to show its applicability.

  • The requirement to reuse a design knowledge have been enlarged with the automation of a design system. A design knowledge gives logical and technical meanings to design data of a problem area. The representation of the knowledge is distributed and developed independently. For this reason, we need a general methodology with a semantic interoperability of design knowledge. In this paper, we accept previous requirements by using semantic query system with ontology repository.

  • This paper is a longitudinal study, comparing survey results between two time periods. A previous survey was conducted in 1999. After 10 years of the first survey, the second survey was conducted while utilizing the same questionnaire. A list of membership of Korea Institute of Heallthcare Architecture was used as a sampling frame. At the first survey in 1999, questionnaires of 27.3 percentage were returned, and 15.5 percentage in the 2008 survey. Healthcare design is one of the highly specialized design types in architecture. In addition, it is demanded highly specialized knowledge to solve healthcare design problems. As a professional service firm(PSF), architectural firm utilizes knowledge assets to provide design service to clients. Specialized knowledge in question is one of the core assets of PSF. The knowledge generates competitive advantages and plays an effective role as a marketing tool for PSF. However, empirical studies dealing with the knowledge characteristics of specialized design(healthcare) firms were hardly found. Thus, this study aims to trace the professional architects' perception of knowledge demands for task performance and architectural knowledge assets. The results can be used as a reference when a specialized firm in healthcare design initiates to build knowledge assets in it.

설계지식 데이터베이스의 자료구조 규명과 자연어처리를 이용한 인터페이스 프로그램 개발 (The Definition of Data Structure for Design Knowledge Database and Development of the Interface Program for using Natural Language Processing)

  • In this study, by using the natural language processing of the field of artificial intelligence, automated index was performed. And then, the Natural Language Processing Interface for knowledge representation(NALPI) has been developed. Furthermore, the DEsign KnOwledge DataBase(DEKODB) has been also developed, which is designed to interlock the knowledge base. The DEKODB processes both the documented design-data, like a concrete standard specification, and the design knowledge from an expert. The DEKODB is also simulates the design space of structures accordance with the production rule, and thus it is determined that DEKODB can be used as a engine to retrieve new knowledge and to implement knowledge base that is necessary to the development of automatic design system. The application field of the system, which has been developed in this study, can be expanded by supplement of the design knowledge at DEKODB and developing dictionaries for foreign languages. Furthermore, the perfect automation at the data accumulation and development of the automatic rule generator should benefit the unified design automation.

  • 세계는 지금 정보화사회를 넘어 지식사회(Knowledge Society)에 돌입하였다. 즉, 지식이 가장 강력한 경쟁력의 원천이 되고 있다. 이러한 환경변화는 디자인에 있어서도 새로운 경영 패러다임을 요구하고 있으며, 지식경영에 대한 체계적인 연구와 실무적 접근이 필요한 시점이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 디자인 분야에 지식경영을 도입하여 디자인적 맥락에서 지식경영에 대한 이론적 체계를 재구축하고, 디자인을 통한 지식창출 패러다임을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 디자인에 지식경영을 도입하기 위한 기초 연구로서 디자인에 적합한 지식경영의 이론적 프레임웍을 개발하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이론적 고찰로서 지식경영과 지식경영시스템에 관련된 선행 연구들을 살펴보고, 디자인에 적합한 지식경영 도입 방안과 이론적 프레임웍을 제시하였다 또한 지식경영시스템을 크게 디자인 인프라, 지식정보시스템, 의사결정지원시스템, 지식역량으로 구성하였으며, 지식경영시스템의 기술적 특성을 정보기술측면에서 분석하였다.
