개별 심장재활교육이 경피적 관상동맥 중재술(PCI) 환자의 지식과 불안에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Individualized Cardiac Rehabilitation Education for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Patients)

  • Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the effectiveness of cardiac rehabilitation education individualized to PCI patients in order to improve their knowledge of these diseases and to lessen their anxiety. Method: A Quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design was used. The experimental group had the PCI operation for ischemic heart disease and individualized cardiac rehabilitation education and counseling twice for 25 minutes each time using an educational booklet developed by the authors. The effects of the education were analyzed using a knowledge assessment tool, state anxiety inventory and anxiety visual analogue scale. Results: The experimental group who received the individualized cardiac rehabilitation education showed a high level of knowledge about diseases compared to the control group and particularly showed a significant difference in knowledge about the drugs used for treatment. However, no significant difference was observed between the two groups in the level of state anxiety and anxiety visual analogue scale. Conclusion: Individualized cardiac rehabilitation education did not reduce anxiety but it was effective in enhancing the participants' knowledge about the diseases. Thus, it can be utilized effectively in addressing risk factors in ischemic heart diseases by providing education individualized according to patients' demands and knowledge levels.

Using Gamification Development of Sex Education Program (Ethical Perspective) for Youth

  • Purpose: To prevent and respond to youth sexual problems that are becoming more serious with digital development, this study sought to develop a sex education program that applies gamification as an effective method for youth who are digital natives. Research design, data and methodology: To develop a sex education program for teenagers, elements of gamification were considered based on Dick and Kerry's teaching system design model. The learning content reflected UNESCO's 'Comprehensive Sex Education Guidelines'. In addition, it was designed to enable students to learn about ethics and morals from a social and emotional aspect. Results: A four-session distance learning sex education program was developed for first-year high school students. To learn about gender sensitivity, sexual relationships, sexuality, and healthy sexual behavior, we developed a story that reflects the mission and quest for sex education. It included leaderboards, time limits, and levels, and also utilized mechanics such as points and items. Edutech tools include video content, Google Sheets, Zoom, Padlet, and Mentimeter. Conclusions: This study aims to improve learning effectiveness, satisfaction, and immersion by developing a sex education program for youth using gamification that promotes active learner participation and motivation.

  • 블렌디드 러닝방식을 통해 디자인 교육에 대한 블렌디드 러닝 방식의 연구로서, 더 발전된 학습자 주도의 맞춤형 디자인 교육이 가능한 것을 제안하고자 한다. 대면 수업에서의 이해와 비대면에서의 장점을, 원격 수업에서 적절한 방식으로 보충할 수 있다. 발전한 인공지능과 빅데이터 기술은 디자인 분야 수업에서의 정량화된 데이터를 토대로 학습자의 수준과 관심에 맞는 개별화되고 세분화 된 맞춤형 학습 자료와 효과적인 학습 방법을 제공할 수 있다. 본론에서는 알 라 카르테 모델 (A La Carte) 제안을 통한 시·공간의 제약을 넘는 방식의 적용으로 수업의 효율을 극대화를 제안하였다. 언제 어디서나 들을 수 있는 원격 수업으로 소외 지역에 사는 학생들에게 제공되는 교육의 질과 교육 격차 해소에도 가능하다. 창의융합형 미래 인재를 양성하는 목표로서, 빠른 기술 발전 속도를 가지고 달라지고 있기에. 이에 발맞춘 학습 방법의 변화에 적응력을 지닐 필요가 있다. 알 라 카르테 모델 (A La Carte) 제안을 통한 인포그래픽 가상공간 디자인과 구축과정에 대한 분석을 제시하였다. 단순히 지식을 습득하는 것이 아니라, 지식을 선별하고, 구분하고, 학습하고, 자신만의 지식으로 손쉽게 재탄생시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

A Case Study on Architectural Engineering Design Using Action Learning

  • Companies want universities to produce graduates with creativity and problem-solving skills, and for this reason universities have extended engineering design education, including in the field of architectural engineering. This paper investigates an engineering design class in the Department of Architectural Engineering, J University. The class was taught in 2010 and 2011using an Action Learning (AL) teaching-learning strategy. The students responded that the level of participation and satisfaction was high in the Action Learning classes, and role allocation or responsibility and communication of the project teams were very effective. But it was also found that as Action Learning is such a new method for students of engineering design, an orientation session that describes what to do and what to prepare should be given before the class starts.

  • The importance of engineering design increases due to the expansion of engineering education certification. But there are not much teaching methods and examples of engineering design to be referred to the college classes. This paper introduces a new teaching and learning method of Action Learning adopted to a engineering design class in the Department of Architectural Engineering, J University in Korea. The class included a team project to find problems of facilities or safety management factors in a building construction site, and to provide the alternatives to solve the problems. The Action Learning helped to improve the learning effect of students and to increase the quality of the project deliverables.

통합보육시설의 시설 및 설비 기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural facility standards of integrated child care facility)

  • This research proposes the importance of physical environment if integrated early childhood education. For a successful integration of children's education, we processed fundamental research on requirements of facility and equipments, looking at related standards and code on handicapped person's convenience facility. Also, this research alms at providing first step to establish evaluation method and quality assurance standards of integrated child care facility, regarding space planning of handicapped children. By examining home and abroad material and analyzing handicapped children's convenience facility standards, this research pursues improving the basis of planning criteria. As present criteria of relevant regulations appears not to handle detailed facility standards, and the handicapped people's facility is for childhood education, it is necessary first to differentiate indispensable equipments from optional one, then categorize them into more specific needs.

효과적인 실험 교육을 위한 수업 모형 (An Instructional Model for Effective Experimental Education)

  • 회로 이론은 전기 및 전자 공학 분야에서 가장 기본이 되는 다양한 회로의 해석과 설계를 체계화한 학문으로 회로 이론 교과목은 전기 및 전자 공학도라면 반드시 습득하도록 4년제 대학을 기준으로 학부 2학년에 한 학기 내지는 2 학기에 걸쳐 전공 교과목으로 편성되어 있다. 또한 학생들이 회로 이론에 대한 이해도를 높이고, 실제 회로를 구성한 실험을 통하여 회로 설계에 대한 기술 및 응용력을 습득할 수 있도록 하는 실험 교과목이 이론 교과목을 뒷받침하기 위해 동반 편성되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 회로 이론을 뒷받침하는 실험 교육에 대한 학습 효과를 높이기 위해 전기회로 설계 및 실험 교과목에서 시행하고 있는 수업 방법에 대한 사례 연구에 대해 기술한다. 이를 위해 이론 학습, 시뮬레이션, 실험 및 설계 프로젝트 등이 복합적으로 구성된 15주 수업 모형을 제안한다. 제시된 수업 모형에서는 이론을 보완하기 위한 시뮬레이션과 사전 실험 준비 과정이 강화되고, 공학 엔지니어로서의 실질적인 회로 설계 능력을 배양하기 위한 설계 프로젝트가 도입되어 운영된다. 5년 동안의 운영 결과는 제안된 모형이 효용성이 있음을 보여준다.

미국 대학에서 의료복지시설 디자인 교육 특성화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Specialization of University Education about Healthcare Facility Design in USA)

  • This paper is intended to suggest some reference materials for future specialization of university education about healthcare facility design in Korea, by reviewing the degree systems and curriculum of 5 universities where architecture departments have specialized program for healthcare facility design in USA. Research method includes the navigation of related homepages, the e-mail contacts with the professors in charge, and the analysis of collected materials. Some conclusions can be summarized as following : Degrees of the specialized programs under concentration or track system are awarded as the same title as master program in the department of Architecture. Specialized education programs can be largely classified by concentration/track systems( Clemson University, University of Kansas and Arizona State University) which are operated independently in general and certificate system(Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University) which adds some healthcare related courses to general master program in the department of Architecture. As distinctive curriculum from 5 Universities, Clemson University which offers almost courses related to healthcare facility design, University of Kansas which provides internships(6 credits each) for summer term & fall semester of 2nd year, and Texas Tech University where certificate program is co-operated by architecture and nursing department can be mentioned. In order to pursuit the specialization of university education about healthcare facility design in the department of Architecture, it would be desirable to proceed it after setting the direction such as concentration, track or certificate system according to the various circumstances & conditions of the department concerned.

건축설계 프로젝트 팀별 진행의 역할분담에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Role Division in Team Projects of Architectural Design)

  • 본 연구는 건축설계 프로젝트 수행시의 효율적인 팀 구성의 방법을 모색하기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위하여, (1) 학생들의 설계스튜디오 프로젝트의 특성, (2) 건축설계 교육과 관련한 교수법 이론, (3) 건축설계 스튜디오의 역할분담과 팀 구성의 방법 등을 연구하였으며, 졸업 후 진로인 건축설계회사의 (1) 팀 구성 방법의 특징, (2) 프로젝트 팀의 유형과 장점, (3) 역할분담의 효율적인 방법 등에 대한 문헌연구를 실시하였다. 학생의 설계스튜디오에서의 팀장과 팀원의 역할은 미리 정해진 기간을 기준으로 교대로 담당하는 것이 프로젝트에 대한 동기유발과 소속감을 유지하는데 역할을 하였으며, 건축설계 회사에서는 선호도보다는 생산성에 우선한 의사결정방식에 따라 (1) 경험, (2) 디자인능력, (3) 프로젝트 일정 등이 우선 고려사항으로 정리되었다. 하지만 회사에 대한 지속적인 동기유발과 소속감을 유지하기 위해서는 팀 구성의 효율적인 방법을 연구하는 것이 요구된다.

전문대학의 학제변화에 따른 실내디자인 교육과정 분석 (An Analysis on the Curriculum of Interior Design Education by the Reform of the Educational System)

  • In interior design and architecture area, educational system has changed since 2001 from two-year program to three-year. At present related courses are established in about 68 colleges. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the advantages of the three-year over the two-year design program, analyzing the changes in curriculum. In the study, curricula from the selected 16 colleges were collected and analyzed using the following research method. The courses were classified into 10 sectors - based on previous studies. The results are as follows. In the three-year program, the available number of courses generally increased. Of the ten sectors, there was marked growth in the 'design' and 'technique or technology' sectors after the program change. In addition, the 'primary', 'theory' and 'digital design' sectors were reinforced to represent the latest changes in the design process and presentation method.
