  • The stage space in theatre for the performance of a play requires two aspects of the physical space for a play and the image as the background or the theme of a play. This research focuses on the scene design that creates the background or the theme of a play and communicates it to the audience. The scene design is composed of various design elements of space and objects as the properties of a play. Design elements and the objects are the design languages in various form; plane, three-dimensional, multi-dimensional form. These design language have the significant meaning as a sign like human language. The scene design is completed with rhetorical expression for communication in theatre. This research defines the category of meaning that design elements of scene design can create and the rhetorical expression of the scene design language. King Lear directed by Robert G. Anderson was analyzed with the category of design elements as a sign and the pattern of the rhetorical expression. The scene design for a play is completed effectively by the rhetorical expression of design elements as the design language for communication with the audience in theatre.

소비자의 온라인 패션몰 아바타에 대한 커뮤니케이션 신뢰가 아바타에 대한 성과기대 및 재사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Consumers' Trust in Communication with Online Fashion Mall Avatars on Performance Expectancy and Re-use Intentions)

  • This study investigates the effect of consumers' trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars on performance expectancy and re-use intention. For the empirical study, 207 adults were surveyed using a 5-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The analysis reveals the following results. First, the factor analysis of trust in communication with the avatar, performance expectancy, and re-use intention revealed cognitive and affective trust as subfactors of the trust in communication with the avatar, while purchase choice expectations and performance expectancy were identified as subfactors of performance expectancy for the avatar. A total of five factors, including re-use intention, were recognized. Second, the trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected performance expectancy for the avatar. Among the subfactors, cognitive trust was determined to have a greater influence on purchase choice expectations than affective trust. Third, the performance expectancy for the online fashion mall avatar significantly positively affected re-use intention. Notably, the subfactor performance expectancy had a greater influence than purchase choice expectations. Finally, trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected re-use intention. Accordingly, the sub-factor cognitive trust had a greater influence on re-use intention than affective trust. The results of this study are academically significant in that they empirically test the influence relationship between trust in communication, performance expectancy, and re-use intention, considering the personal characteristics of online fashion mall avatars on consumers using the Meta-UTAUT model in the fashion field.

브랜드 커뮤니케이션 전략유형과 VMD표현요소를 적용한 패션 플래그쉽 스토어 사례 분석 연구 (A Study on Types of Strategies of Brand Communication and Analysis of a Case of Fashion Flagship Store applied with VMD Expressional Elements)

  • This study aims to suggest a direction for interior space design for fashion flagship stores in the future where the brand identity can become correctly recognized by the consumers, and consumers can have various and differentiated experiences. As research method, theoretical concept review and case study on brand communication and VMD were used. Specifically, for review on brand communication, concept, strategies, and space types were explored, and, for review on VMD, concept, purpose, and expressive elements were researched. Also, the study looked at the relevance between and importance of strategy types of brand communication and VMD. Through these reviews, strategy types of brand communication and analysis criteria for VMD application were written based on the research and analysis of 8 cases in Korean and elsewhere. The results of this study is as follows: Based on marketing-oriented thinking with understanding of VMD, the plan must accurately understand the image and identity pursued by the brand, take into account the store layout, atmosphere, product concept, trend, and display, so that the store can communicate with the customers with cognitive consistency, diversity of senses, and differentiation from other companies. Currently, fashion flagship stores in Korea are concentrated on sales in expressing VMD, and, therefore, are difficult to deliver brand identity to consumers and they require diversity in expressive elements in doing so. Therefore, in the interior space design of fashion flagship stores in Korea, brand communication must enhance cognitive, behavioral, relationship, and culture marketing, and, requires confirming VMD expression in details by linking with brand communication and specific expressions based on it.

박람회 전시공간의 커뮤니케이션 계획에 관한 연구 - 무역박람회 전시를 중심으로 - (A Study of the Communication Plan in the Display Space of the Trade Fair - Focusing on the Trade Fair Display -)

  • 전시공간은 인간 그리고 전시물에 대해 그 외형과 더불어 내재된 가치의 상호작용까지 고려해야 하므로 건축 및 실내건축의 설계, 전시 프로그램의 기획 조정, 전시공간에의 구체화, 운영 및 관리 등의 여러 가지 작업들이 조화를 이루어 형성되는 결과물이다. 그러므로 박람회의 전시공간은 축적된 가치의 산물들을 보유하는 장소로서의 기능 뿐 아니라 관람자와의 커뮤니케이션을 이룰 수 있는 기능적 역할을 수행하여야 한다. 그러므로 무역박람회 전시의 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 전시물의 특성, 전시내용, 전시 프로그램뿐만 아니라 전시장의 위치와 형태에 따른 효과적인 커뮤니케이tus 계획을 수립해야 한다. 무역박람회 전시매장의 전시공간은 그 위치에 따라 벽형, 모퉁이형, 머리형, 섬형, 양 입구형 5가지로 분류될 수 있으며, 이러한 위치에 따른 커뮤니케이션 계획은 수동적 커뮤니케이션 구역, 능동적 커뮤니케이션 구역, 집약적 커뮤니케이션 구역, 기능수행 구역으로 그 기능을 구분하여 계획해야 한다. 이와 같은 무역박람회 전시공간의 전시형태와 위치에 관련한 커뮤니케이션 계획을 통하여 성공적인 전시를 위한 내용과 방법을 모색할 수 있으며 무역박람회 전시의 목적을 달성할 수 있을 것이다.

  • MiTS 통신 프로토콜은 선박에서 발생하는 다양한 정보의 통합 처리 및 교환을 위하여 제안된 표준이다. 일반적인 통신 프로토콜과 유사하게 MiTS 통신 프로토콜도 상태 천이로 명세되어 있다. 이러한 통신 프로토콜의 구현에는 많은 노력과 시간이 필요하므로, 이를 경감할 수 있는 체계적인 설계 및 구현 방법이 요구된다. 이러한 요구에 적합한 방법론으로 디자인 패턴을 들 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 디자인 패턴을 적용하여 MiTS 통신 프로토콜을 객체지향적으로 설계하고 C++로 구현한 결과에 대하여 기술한다.

십자패턴을 이용한 LGP의 설계 및 제작 (Design and fabrication of LGP using cross type pattern)

  • LGP for the small size exit was designed and fabricated. Pattern design method, which is the most important thing in the design of the LGP, was converted from the line type into the cross type. By using this new method, the brightness unevenness, which was very difficult problem to be solved in V-cutting method, was improved. Currently products had 78% of the brightness uniformity but newly developed product in this research had 87% of the brightness uniformity. Also the optimized design rule provided the improvement of the brightness of the LGP developed in this study, that has brightness of $871cd/m^2$ whichwas 98% higher than the common products.

  • 인터넷의 대중화와 함께 데이터 통신서비스에 대한 수요로 데이터 통신망은 그 양과 종류가 급격하게 증가하고 있어서 통신망 운용에 따른 망구성 및 고장처리 체계의 정립이 필요하게 되었다. 기존의 다양한 유형의 데이터 통신망서비스 고장처리방법의 통합하면서 새로운 차세대 통신망서비스 고장처리방안까지 수용할 수 있도록 하는 통합 고장처리시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 모든 데이터 통신망서비스에 대한 고장시험, 고객정보관리, 시선정보관리에 관련된 시스템들과의 체계적인 연동을 통한 통합 고장처리 방안을 제시하고 UML(Unified Modeling Language)과 EJB(Enterprise Java Bean) 기술을 이용한 객체지향방법에 기반한 설계를 수행한다.

  • 현재 사회는 커뮤니케이션(communication)의 과잉의 시대로 보여진다. 다양화된 상품과 정보통신의 발달로 언어적 특성의 사회는 시각적 환경으로 변화되었다. 이런 변화의 시대 속에 패키지가 소비자와 올바른 커뮤니케이션을 하기 위해서는 마케팅계획과 마케팅전략의 분석을 통해 소비자가 원하는 요구(needs)를 파악하고 형상화시켜 전달해야 된다고 보여진다. 이러한 올바른 커뮤니케이션 방법을 제시하기 위하여 본고에서는 마케팅 개념과 환경의 변화를 살펴보았으며, 마케팅 활동과 패키지 활동의 유기적 관계에 대해서 연구하여 패키지 프로세스로의 도입을 시도하였다. 본고의 목적은 현재 소비자 기호 변화에 따른 마케팅 환경 변화에 대응하는 커뮤니케이션 도구로서의 패키지 디자인을 개발함에 있어 마케팅 전략을 도입하여 이론적 프로세스를 개발하고, 또 시각화시키는데 있다.

'사회적 소통'을 위한 아파트단지 공용공간의 계획목표 및 전략 도출 (Deduction of the Design Objectives and Strategies of Communal Spaces in Apartment Complexes for 'Social Interaction and Communication')

  • 'Sustainable Development' has become one of the most important concepts of the 21st century, and efforts are being made to actively apply this conception in various fields of social studies. Sustainability can be discussed in terms of economy, environment and society. In the case of social sustainability, a key motivation is the weakened bond within communities that is an unfortunate characteristic of modern society. The core of social sustainability is therefore in promoting 'social interaction and communication' through constructing communities and physical environments that support them. This study is based on the understanding that areal enlargement of physical environment doesn't guarantee the vitality of created community spaces. The purpose of this study is to deduce the design objectives and strategies of communal spaces in apartment complexes for social interaction and communication. Social interaction and communication can be divided into two aspects: between a complex and the local society, and within the complex itself. Nine design objectives are deduced from sixteen research reports published by public research institutions after 2000 and several design strategies are found through architectural analyses of influential examples based on 5 fundamental values of communal space planning.

  • Through the surge of intelligence-based technology, in which information and communication are the main production means, and the ground-breaking innovation of technology, computing, communication, broadcasting have integrated. And this have led to automated, information-based and communication networked society, and the information age. To cope with this movement toward information-based society, offices of interior design are increasingly taking advantage of the Internet and searching for e-commerce business. Many interior design onces have opened up homepages and interior design-related companies are currently in preparation for new advertisement and marketing through the Internet. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of Internet usage by interior design-related websites and information for maintenance of such websites. This study analyzes these websites by their contents and solutions.
