PSO 알고리즘을 이용한 이동통신용 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design of Mobile Communication Microstrip Patch Antenna using PSO algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 IE3D를 기반으로 하는 새로운 PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) 알고리즘을 사용해 이동통신용마이크로스트립 패치 안테나를 설계하였다. 본 논문의 목적은 이동통신용 급전 사각형 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계하고, 대역폭의 복사 매개변수에 대한 안테나 크기(길이, 폭) 및 기판 매개변수 상대 유전 상수(${\varepsilon}r$), 기판 두께의 영향을 연구하여 이동통신용에 적합한 안테나를 설계하는 것이다. 안테나 설계 프로그램인 IE3D에 PSO알고리즘을 적용하여 안테나의 낮은 입력저항, 대역폭, 안테나의 이득 등을 개선하였다.

패션 브랜드 아이덴티티 구축을 위한 패션 커뮤니케이션 방법론 연구 (A Study on Fashion Communication Methodology to Build Fashion Brand Identity)

  • The fashion industry has been placing great importance on establishing and communicating brand identity in response to the rapidly changing landscape of consumer preference and media development. This study aimed to explore effective communication methodologies for building a strong brand identity for domestic designer fashion brands. To achieve this, trends in the domestic fashion industry were categorized, and key words were derived to develop three new communication methodologies through an analysis of 10 domestic brand cases. This study confirmed that a strategy that focuses on forming emotional relationships with consumers is essential for establishing brand identity. To this end, the proposed communication methodologies include the following: First, delivering sustainable messages through emotional storytelling, which is a key approach for building emotional bonds with consumers. Second, expanding the brand experience to elicit positive responses from consumers by immersing them in special situations to experience brand identity. Third, brands can enhance consumer brand loyalty by fostering continuous relationships with consumers and cultivating brand culture through omnichannel strategies that encompass both offline and online channels. Consequently, this study presents practical strategies for various fashion brands along with theoretical contributions to domestic fashion brand startups and brand identity construction. With these strategies, it is anticipated that brands will establish clear and specific content and build a stronger brand identity by engaging in diverse communication methods that offer consumers sustainable values and brand experiences.

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish a framework of the information system design for the distribution management in the confectionery industry. First, we present the characteristics of distribution information system and the distribution information flow in the confectionery industry. Next, we present a sketch of the computer-communication system as the mechanism for improving communication within the distribution system and design the subsystems of distribution information system. And we design the data structure for manipulating distribution information. Finally, we present the case study in which we design the distribution information system in the confectionery industry.

Systematic Approach for Design of Broadband, High Efficiency, High Power RF Amplifiers

  • This paper demonstrates a systematic approach for the design of broadband, high efficiency, high power, Class-AB RF amplifiers with high gain flatness. It is usually difficult to simultaneously achieve a high gain flatness and high efficiency in a broadband RF power amplifier, especially in a high power design. As a result, the use of a computer-aided simulation is most often the best way to achieve these goals; however, an appropriate initial value and a systematic approach are necessary for the simulation results to rapidly converge. These objectives can be accomplished with a minimum of trial and error through the following techniques. First, signal gain variations are reduced over a wide bandwidth using a proper pre-matching network. Then, the source and load impedances are satisfactorily obtained from small-signal and load-pull simulations, respectively. Finally, two high-order Chebyshev low-pass filters are employed to provide optimum input and output impedance matching networks over a bandwidth of 100 MHz-500 MHz. By using an EM simulation for the substrate, the simulation results were observed to be in close agreement with the measured results.

  • 본 논문은 다변화하고 있는 GMDSS 본연의 임무인 조난 및 긴급 안전과 병행하여 요구되고 있는 해상의 데이터통신 서비스를 위한 선박통신장비인 MF/HF, VHF, Inmarsat 위성통신 등 기존 탑재 장비들의 기능적 한계와 서비스 가능성을 확인하기 위한 데이터 통신 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였으며, 통신 매체별 통신비용, 처리율, 통신 속도, 처리 가능한 서비스, 통신 가능 범위 등에 대한 성능 분석 및 평가를 실시하여 미래 해상 통신 환경에서의 GMDSS의 역할과 방향을 제시하였다.

MIM커뮤니케이션에서 이모티콘 활용이 사용자 이미지메이킹과 자기표현 만족감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emoticons on User Image making and Self-expression Satisfaction in MIM Communication)

  • In this study, we investigated the effect of users' emoticon usage on their satisfaction with image making and self-expression in MIM communication. We defined internal attraction, social appeal, and communication ability as personal image making factors due to the use of emoticons in MIM communication. And we defined the research hypotheses based on the definition of intimacy, openness, and social reality as relational image making factors. In MIM communication, we analyzed the questionnaire about emoticon users. As a result, emoticon usage was found to have a positive and significant effect on self-expression in relation image making rather than personal image making. The study implies that the use of emoticons can lead to image making in MIM communication and satisfy the satisfaction of self expression.

  • The Internet has made a huge impact on the way we, as humans, communicate. During the last decade a series of new communication mediums have emerged and communication protocols have come and gone. This puts new requirements on the development process and architecture of the communication platforms, operated by communities, in order to proactively ensure support for future communication protocols. Even further, additional requirements are added when the software itself will be maintained by a community. In this paper we explore the world of Open Source Software. We present our suggestions of usable design-principles and our process in developing a sustainable information system.

  • 본 논문은 조가선을 이용한 전기철도의 전력선 통신을 위한 네트워크 설계를 제안한다. 전기철도에서 필수적인 전차선 및 조가선을 이용하여 전력선 통신에 대한 타당성 검토를 선행연구로 수행하였다. 이를 위해 우선 무가압상태에서 조가선에 신호결합기를 취부하여 양방향 데이터 통신을 구현하였다. 데이터 전송속도가 양호하게 나타났으며 이를 토대로 전력선 통신을 위한 주요 구성품을 제시하고 네트워크 설계를 제안하였다. 향후 네트워크 설계에 대한 타당성을 확보하기 위해 지속적인 연구를 수행하고자 한다.

The Design of a Ultra-Low Power RF Wakeup Sensor for Wireless Sensor Networks

  • In wireless sensor networks (WSNs) duty cycling has been an imperative choice to reduce idle listening but it introduces sleep delay. Thus, the conventional WSN medium access control protocols are bound by the energy-latency tradeoff. To break through the tradeoff, we propose a radio wave sensor called radio frequency (RF) wakeup sensor that is dedicated to sense the presence of a RF signal. The distinctive feature of our design is that the RF wakeup sensor can provide the same sensitivity but with two orders of magnitude less energy than the underlying RF module. With RF wakeup sensor a sensor node no longer requires duty cycling. Instead, it can maintain a sleep state until its RF wakeup sensor detects a communication signal. According to our analysis, the response time of the RF wakeup sensor is much shorter than the minimum transmission time of a typical communication module. Therefore, we apply duty cycling to the RF wakeup sensor to further reduce the energy consumption without performance degradation. We evaluate the circuital characteristics of our RF wakeup sensor design by using Advanced Design System 2009 simulator. The results show that RF wakeup sensor allows a sensor node to completely turn off their communication module by performing the around-the-clock carrier sensing while it consumes only 0.07% energy of an idle communication module.

Microlens Array를 이용한 자동차 커뮤니케이션 램프 설계 방안 연구 (A Study of the Design of Automotive Communication Lamps Using Microlens Arrays)

  • 본 논문에서는 MLA (microlens array)를 이용한 자동차 커뮤니케이션 램프 설계 방안에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 자율주행기술의 발전으로 보행자와 차량 간의 소통을 위한 커뮤니케이션 램프가 자동차에 필요하게 되었다. 광학계의 크기를 줄이고, 높은 광량을 확보하기 위해 MLA를 사용하여 커뮤니케이션 램프 광학계를 설계하였다. 또한, 기울어진 지면에서 선명한 image를 확보하기 위해 중첩방안을 고려하여 설계를 진행하였다. 이후 중첩 전 MLA 광학계와 성능 비교를 통해 향상된 성능을 확인하였다.
