Adfreeze bond strength is a primary design parameter, which determines bearing capacity of pile foundation in frozen ground. It is reported that adfreeze bond strength is influenced by various affecting factors like freezing temperature, confining pressure, characteristics of pile surface, soil type, etc. However, several limited researches have been performed to obtain adfreeze bond strength, for past studies considered only few affecting factors such as freezing temperature and type of pile structures. Therefore, there exists a limitation of estimating the design parameter of pile foundation with various factors in frozen ground. In this study, artificial neural network algorithm was involved to predict adfreeze bond strength with various affecting factors. From past five studies, 137 data for various experimental conditions were collected. It was divided by 100 training data and 37 testing data in random manner. Based on the analysis result, it was found that it is necessary to consider various affecting factors for the prediction of adfreeze bond strength and the prediction with artificial neural network algorithm provides enough reliability. In addition, the result of parametric study showed that temperature and pile type are primary affecting factors for adfreeze bond strength. And it was also shown that vertical stress influences only certain temperature zone, and various soil types and loading speeds might cause the change of evolution trend for adfreeze bond strength.

Tobacco use is the most readily preventable cause of premature death； it is a worldwide problem, with a significant impact on heath and well-being. In order to design an effective tobacco education program, it is important to understand smoking patterns and the underlying factors associated with smoking in different generations such as adults or young people. Despite a general decline in the prevalence of regular smoking among adults, recent surveys commissioned by the Ministry Heath ＆ Welfare for the Republic of Korea have shown no evidence of any decline in smoking rates among young women and adolescents. The Republic of Korea has the highest adult male smoking percentage (65.1%) in the world and smoking in adolescents is still an increasing trend. Smoking in adolescents and young women is especially more dangerous, thus health education of anti-smoking directed at these groups is an important area that will benefit from using internet content that they can easily access. The purpose of this study is the evaluation of visual perception and effectiveness analysis in smoking cessation websites in promoting smoking cessation in adolescents and young women through Internet content. As a result of this project, at first we evaluated the Internet content of cyber smoking cessation programs by the evaluation criteria of web design interface. The Internet site of http：//nosmokeguide.or.kr received the most superior evaluation in the domestic Internet content for smoking cessation and the Internet site of the National Center for Tobacco-Free Kids received the most superior evaluation in the foreign Internet content for smoking cessation. This evaluation was surveyed by an expert in Internet content and user. Secondly, we developed the Internet content for cyber smoking cessation program, namely, "Dr. Smoking" that contained several menus and a database regarding anti-smoking designed in accordance with the results of this evaluation. The domain address of Dr. Smoking is http：//www.dmosmoking.com and our webpage has assorted kinds of news, information, self-diagnosis, prescription, consulting, a no-smoking mall etc. In conclusion, this project is designed to develop Internet content for the most effective smoking cessation program and to contribute to eliminating smoking from our society. We also will try to develop and upgrade this web-site in order to help a smoker who want to quit smoking and diminish the physical and socioeconomic harm from smoking.m smoking.

The network security encryption type is divided into two, one is point-to-point, second method is link type. The level of security quality attributes are a system security quality requirements in a networked environment. Quality attributes can be observed and should be able to be measured. If the quality requirements can be presented as exact figures, quality requirements are defined specifically setting quality objectives. Functional requirements in the quality attribute is a requirement for a service function which can be obtained through the encryption. Non-functional requirements are requirements of the service quality that can be obtained through the encryption. Encryption quality evaluation system proposed in this study is to derive functional requirements and non-functional requirements 2 groups. Of the calculating measure of the evaluation index in the same category, the associated indication of the quality measure of each surface should be created. The quality matrix uses 2-factor analysis of the evaluation for the associated surface quality measurements. The quality requirements are calculated based on two different functional requirements and non-functional requirements. The results are calculated by analyzing the trend of the average value assessment. When used this way, it is possible to configure the network security encryption based on quality management.

The study analyzed the effects of the floor plan characteristics on the apartment price under the national housing size in 3 Gangnam districts for decades, the primary apartment markets in Korea. The analysis showed that the storage spaces such as kitchen, warehouses and dressage rooms have a positive effect on the price. Especially, the highly opened space with three-side open plan and the one with the unified type of livingroom, diningroom and kitchen have shown the strong effect on the price. For the kitchen spaces, the I-shaped kitchen tends to be more expensive while a centered living room has a positive effect on the price. These findings have an academic significance as the direct effects of plan characteristics on price has been examined unlike prior research focused on the analysis of trend, basic statistics, and satisfaction level. It is noteworthy that these research finding has identified the productive implication for the future floor plan design and pricing and also be implemented in the purchasing decision making by buyers in the housing market.

In this study, it can be shortened tunnel construction work period by introducing a single-shell tunnel does not placing the secondary concrete lining, a global research trend, reduction of the cost of the lining placement and number of benefits that can ensure the safety of long-term tunnel with a single shell it was to study the tunnel method. First, we analyze the design and construction practices relating to delete lining of the domestic design and construction practices and a comprehensive analysis of the stability study found a rock in good condition interval (1~3 grades), we propose that the lining uninstalled. In the case of domestic changes on the ground floor is very heavy underfoot conditions many so tunneling method by single shell as ground conditions are good and one preferred the water points that apply in less soil, the soil health and poor sections (4~5 grades) reflecting with respect to the concrete lining that is expected reasonable.

When we consider to develop a new harbor, the most important factor, we think, is the lowest water depth of waterway and approaching channel for safe navigation of vesse. The existing harbors have been being dredged to meet the international trend of jumbo sized vessels by adopting the new design criteria. As the dredged materials over the expected at the design level were common and there are still lack of land based reclamation area, we have no choice to discharge the dredged materials in open sea area. In this study, we analysed the behavior of discharged materials at the dumping area of offshore open sea, which were collected from the dredging work at the waterway in Busan New Port. We measured the tidal currents and analyzed the waters of dumping site after the dumping work. these were used to evaluate the numerical models. Suspended Solids(SS) were introduced to the diffusion model. Because of the characteristics of the dumping site, the speed of initial diffusion and settle down of the discharged materials was so fast. Therefore, we believe that the dumped materials do not cause a significant impact to the marine environment.

Animation-related films and game industries have been expanding their markets rapidly responding to sharply increasing public demand. The production processes of major studios are getting more and more specialized and detailed. Therefore, they feel burden to manage and maintain as the HR and physical sizes are getting greater. So, independent studios which perform partial processes of the works are increasing over North America and Europe. Specialized studios build previous functions and related business models. They are expanding their areas. Therefore, this study targeted studios specialized in digital concept art in free production step. The characteristics of such studios were analyzed. To this end, first definitions of digital concept art concepts and functional & artistic features of entire production, and their application to business were deliberated through documents and online. Based on the results, the features of 'concept art service', 'self-brand business/ communication', and 'education service' were drawn. Second, based on it, targeting three con cept art studios such as Atomhawk (UK), FengZhu Design (Singapore), and Studio Gage (Korea), case research was done. Comparative analysis for the cases was conducted. It turned out that concept art studio s lead new market demand through active business strategies such as related contents development, marketing, etc. based on specialization. This research is significant to understand global trend of newly establishing specialized studios market and suggest reference data to improve prospective domestic specialized studios competitiveness.

The purpose of this study is to analyse and interpret the way of differentiated expression and changing creative trend following 5-day workweek which has been recently adopted. For this aim 11 pieces of distinctive advertising text were analysed. The criteria for selection of analysing text were relativeness with 5-day workweek and cognitive inconsistency. These texts were negative phrases, exaggerated expression, and excessively humorous appeals. The study revealed the followings: First, 5-day workweek concerned advertising texts were considered as high attention getting and successful in stimulating advertising audiences' curiosity by using the elements opposing the value and belief system formed in the existing audience. Second, consumption-driving lifestyle was found in most expressions for credit cards advertising. Third, hedonic need-oriented lifestyle was typical in young consumer products category. Fourth, family centered lifestyle emphasized meaning of rest and solidarity of family.

Large sized buildings have proliferated in the modern world in order to solve problems caused by the growth of cities, and this trend has lead to diversity in style and utilization of interiors. In particular, wayfinding within the shopping mall for a customer is a common problem, so if customers do not have to face these navigational problems and could find the way more easily, then shopping mall or the store can expect much better profits. Therefore, directional sign system that can provide accurate and speedy information for customers with diversified ages, gender and knowledge is necessary. Firstly, the definition and element of all directional sign are analyzed through the existing literature survey. The elements are based on the practical elements and six categories such as type, pictogram, color, layout, form, and location were considered. Secondly, directional signs in large underground shopping mall was considered, and the speciality of the underground shopping mall was investigated, and finally top three underground shopping malls was analyzed. Thirdly, through the questionnaire, an objective appraisal of directional signs and problems was developed, and following possible improvement was suggested. This study has its own limitations since it is only applicable to the specific locations, however, directional designs will be useful in other types of buildings as well. Through the continuous studies of the users' psychology, these kinds of studies will be related to the environmental characteristics of various places.

With the advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the wearable-device industry is growing at a rapid pace in line with the hyper-connected society of people-to-things and things-to-things network connections. International Data Corporation (IDC), a market research institute, estimates that the wearable-device industry will grow rapidly by 2020, despite not yet attracting a popular response. This study investigates the trend of the wearable-device industry and draws implications for product and service development through user experience analysis. The subject of analysis was smart bands and the data generated from product review were collected and analyzed. As a result, user experience could extract utility, usability, aesthetics, value, and reliability, and polarity was analysed and visualized in the extracted data. The study results reveal that current wearable-devices are expensive, that users cannot receive useful information from the long-term viewpoint since the analysis of accumulated data remains focused on functional development, and that they are recognized as a fashion item or an accessory. These factors hinder the continuous usage, motivation and market spread of the product. In a future follow-up study, we will conduct a comparative study on bands and watches by analyzing the second smart watch.
