Development and evaluation of program for coping with spouse abuse (가정폭력 예방 및 대처 프로그램 모형개발 - 배우자 학대를 중심으로 -)

  • This study was to develop the counseling and education program for coping with physical, emotional, and verbal abuse between spouses. Results of empirical study of spouse abuse provided for the basis of designing this program. Consisting of 12 sessions (4 sessions of counseling and 8 sessions of education), the program was delivered to 10 marital couples in an area of Kyunggi-do province. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated through one-group pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test design. Semi-structured interview technique was also employed to evaluate the effectiveness. Resets of paired t-test showed that there were significant differences in several variables between pre-test and post-test period, and this effectiveness remained until follow-up. period. In particular, the degrees of verbal abuse of husbands, and of physical abuse of both husbands and wives were significantly decreased after participating in the program. Also, for both husbands and wives, the Levels of self-esteem and of quality of communication were increased, while the degree of depression was significantly decreased.

  • This paper proposes a method for system development for high speed (300MHz) test of system IC semiconductors. The high-speed test system proposes a high-speed test circuit interface and a PCB design method for noise reduction. This paper proposes evaluation items and procedures for verifying the performance of the developed system. System IC The development of high speed test systems will help optimize the development of domestic system IC test equipment.

  • This paper describes the results of structural analysis and loading test of a bogie frame. The purpose of the analysis and test is to evaluate the safety and functionality of the bogie frame under maximum load. The bogie system consist of the bogie frame, suspensions, wheel-sets, a brake system and a transmission system. Of these components, the bogie frame is the major components subjected to the vehicle and passenger loads. The evaluation method used the JIS E 4207 specifications throughout the FEM analysis and static load test. The test results have shown the bogie frame to be safe and stable under design load conditions.

  • This paper describes the result of load test of a bogie frame. The purpose of test is to evaluate the safety which bogie frame shall be considered fully sufficient rigidity so as to satisfy proper system function under maximum load. Bogie system consist of the bogie frame, suspensions, wheel-sets, a brake system and a transmission system. Among these component, the bogie frame is most significant component subjected to the vehicle and passenger loads. The evaluation method is used the JIS E 4207 specifications throughout the static load test. The test results have shown the bogie frame to be safe and stable under design load conditions.

  • This paper describes the result of structure analysis and load test of body structure. The purpose of the analysis and test is to evaluate an safety which body structure shall be considered fully sufficient rigidity so as to satisfy proper system function under maximum load and operating condition. Material of body structure applied an aluminum alloy. Body structure consist of side frame, under frame, roof frame, end frame. Both FEM analysis and load test are based on 'Performance Test Standard for Electrical Multiple Unit, noticed by Ministry of Construction & Transportation, in 2000' and reference code is JIS E 7105. The test results have been very safety and stable fer design load conditions.

  • Domestic hydroelectric power plants has been manufactured as the design condition by the demand. Hydraulic turbine power plants operating at appointed load shall be operate stable in terms of pressure, discharge, rotational speed and torque. A performance guarantees for hydro turbines shall be contain, as a minimum, guarantees covering power, discharge and specific hydraulic energy, efficiency, maximum momentary overspeed and maximum momentary pressure and maximum steady-state runaway speed, as well as guarantees related to cavitation. But, present in Korea, the absence of testing laboratories and technical criteria for the performance test of small hydropower degrades the efficiency of the domestic hydropower machines, and makes it difficult to objectively evaluate the performance of hydro turbine. Therefore We planned making a basis of performance test of small hydropower turbine by using our flowmeter calibration system the largest one in Korea. We planned the maximum measurable power of hydro turbine will be 200 kW in our system.

  • Recently, High-Strength steel reinforcement has been studied throughout the internal and external. One of the advantages using High-Strength steel reinforcement in construction is the economic effect due to the decreasing of its quantity. Also, another good effect is the increases of workability by reason of reducing the congestion. But, realistically it is not used in nuclear power plant construction site because of the restriction of design standard. The purpose of this report secures the reliability and changes the code through the performance evaluation test of the wall using the high-strength steel reinforcement in nuclear power plant.

  • From the analysis results of some as-built drawings in national roadway bridges in Korea, many bridge piers are expected to show complex shear-flexural behaviour under earthquakes. But the previous research works about the seismic evaluation of bridges considered flexural behaviour RC piers only. In addition, the past bridge design specifications in Korea didn't include limitation on the amount of longitudinal lap splices in the plastic hinge zone of piers. Thus a large majority of non-seismically designed bridge piers in Korea may have lap splices in plastic hinge zone. In this study, prototype pier was selected among existent bridge piers whose failure mode is expected to be complex shear-flexural mode. And then, full scale and 1/2 reduced scale model RC piers with various longitudinal lap splice details were constructed. From the quasi static test results on these model RC piers, the effect of longitudinal lap splices on the seismic performance of bridges piers was analyzed. And the seismic capacity of the non-seismically designed shear-flexural RC piers was evaluated.

  • This study is a quality evaluation using rapid water content test of concrete pavement. The estimated water content of concrete investigated less than $6.6kg/m^3$, in the laboratory, but measured more than $28kg/m^3$ on batch plant comparing to design water content. The average flexural strength shows 6.03MPa.
