  • This research aims to explore the influence of early entrepreneurial education on cognitive and non-cognitive abilities of male sixth-grade primary school pupils using a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 45 students were randomly allocated to experimental, active-control, and control groups using a multi-stage random selection procedure. The experimental group was taught entrepreneurship using the Bizworld entrepreneurship education package. The active control group did not get entrepreneurship education but was instructed on a non-entrepreneurship-related issue (hygiene). The Control group received no instruction. The findings revealed that early entrepreneurial education skills impacted noncognitive abilities (such as risk-taking propensity, creativity, self-efficacy, persistence, and need for achievement). Early entrepreneurship education seems to be an effective technique for developing children's non-cognitive abilities in the late years of primary school. As a result, entrepreneurship education may be taught in primary schools, emphasizing the development of non-cognitive abilities, which will affect children's individual, educational, social, and vocational futures and can have long-term advantages for students, families, and society.

  • The necessity of an empirical study on how projection mapping videos are evaluated from consumers' point of view has arisen, as they can lead to visual pollution if factors including spatial characteristics around the structure and details of the contents are not taken into consideration. This study aims to evaluate projection mapping videos and elucidate the question on whether evaluation criteria positively influence the satisfaction level or not. Above all, five evaluation criteria including artistry, creativity, identity, immersion and usefulness were deducted and a hypothesis from preceding research "each evaluation criteria will positively(+) influence the satisfaction level of projection mapping video" has been established. In order to test the hypothesis, big domestic department stores which screened projection mapping videos were selected and a verification experiment has been conducted with ordinary citizens as subjects. In the result of the experiment, among the five evaluation criteria, artistry, creativity, and usefulness were chosen, while identity and immersion were dismissed. The result verifies that if useful information is provided in forms of interesting contents produced with distinctive ideas and creative methods, it will satisfy the consumers as attractive public design.

This study focused on the characteristics of co-housing in its planning process of private house & common space; 'economy', 'creativity' & 'sociality'. The object of this study is co-housing in 'Seongmi-san Village' in Seoul, which was built by a coordination company with residents' participation. The methods are investigating interview materials, floor plans of 9 households, & common space plans produced in the coordination process from the basic plan of private house & common space to the final plan. The results are as follows. 1) The size and plan of private house differed from each other. The water pipe location differed from each floor, so that there were difficulties in construction. In conclusion, these made no 'economy', but brought high 'creativity'. 2) The 'sociality' would be estimated as high because there were various types of resident participation; resident interviews on the planning, workshops for private housing plan, and workshops for common space.

  • This study is to focus on an innate creative 'spirituality' of Weimar Bauhaus' pedagogical thoughts and their backgrounds. In particular, this notes three elements of Universal mysticism, Orientalism in early Bauhaus including Expressionism, and Froebelian Education as the more practical among the romantic legacies as a source of modernism. Arguably, through these researches, just as the expressionists represent the crystallization of glass as the spirit, the important that should be noticed is explained as the fact that a panentheistic Idea of matter and spirit as a whole had been spreading to be recognized consciously or unconsciously; in other words, this awakening as dualistic monism might be one of the greatest peculiarities of modernity, and, as the fact that the universal thought and principle of 'panentheism' emphasizing a 'divine' artistic volition which is immanent in the individual is implanted first of all fundamentally by Froebelian educational influences.

  • Culture and society exist in the present, but they came from the past. So did clothing. As dressing is deeply based on culture pattern of the times, it is affected by various culture patterns and still keeps developing in modern times. This study is intended to examine the features of retro fashion on culture and dressing of the 19th century. The features of retro fashion on Neoclassical and Romantic culture and dressing are objection to the existing pattern, recursion to the past, and creativity characteristic of pattern of those days. Neoclassicism arose as it rejected Baroque and Rococo style, and imitated culture and artistic pattern of Greece and Rome. Romanticism objected to formal and universal pattern of Neoclassicism, and imitated Gothic style while recognizing historical facts and studying medieval times. Dressing in Neoclassicism did not accept exaggerated and luxurious Rococo pattern, and imitated simple, soft and straight silhouette of Greece and Rome and created its unique Empire Style. Romanticism imitated luxurious style of Renaissance, the Middle Ages, Baroque, and Rococo, different from simple and straight neoclassical style during the Bourbon restoration, and created its unique style. Thus, it is shown that retro fashion on Neoclassical and Romantic culture and dressing reflect the style of those days.

  • The purpose of this paper was to analyze and to compare the creativity of Nam-June Paik and Louis 1. Kahn to understand the characteristics of creative people. Both of them got strong supports from their family and close people. As they were not originally from the U.S., political and city environments where they settled in the U.S. for the first time strongly influenced their creative activity. The difference in the creative contexts of Paik and Kahn is that Paik had more visual cues in his childhood due to the rich environments. The various visual cues influenced his wide interests in video arts. In creative process, even though both of them more focused on the beginning stage of creative process, there were differences in creative problem solving styles. Kahn considered the imaging and perception as the most Important working process. For him, intuition(gestalt view) and ideation(generator) are more important than intellectual skill. On the other hand, Paik thought the symbolization(conceptualizer) based on his own experience and philosophy(associationism) was the most important.
