단조 금형 SCM435 고장력 볼트의 파손 해석 (Failure Analysis on SCM435 High Strength Bolt of Forging Die)

  • Fracture behaviors of SCM435 high strength bolt have been studied including macroscopic and microscopic fracture observation, Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy, Vickers hardness test and applied stress evaluation. cracks (ratchet marks) were generated by the repetitive loads acting on the bolts, initial stress of bolt and the stress concentration. The applied stress was found to be slightly higher than the fatigue limit of the material. The initial stress of bolt must be removed, and the mold temperature during the process must be maintained by room temperature. Bolts are recommended to be peened to improve fatigue limit.

선형 프레넬 반사판 태양열 발전시스템의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Manufacture of Linear Fresnel Reflector Solar Thermal System)

  • In this study, design and manufacture of LFR (Linerar Fresnel Reflector) system was performed for solar thermal absorption cooling. The LFR system was designed considering the expansion and convenience to be installed according to the cooling capacity of the applicable building. Twelve LFR modules with a total reflection area of $204m^2$ were installed. The automatic tracking system was applied to track the sun during the daytime.

  • Currently, various technological models and services are emerging because of the development of information and communication technology and the convergence of industries. The ICT car field is expanding because of technological convergence in the automobile industry. However, ICT convergence services are still being developed based solely on technology; characterization of users and their needs is lacking. Therefore, two types of ICT car services that apply human-centered design processes are developed in this study. These processes create services and models while considering the quality and functions of products based on users (instead of technology) when developing products or services. Usability evaluation was performed on the developed services; a human-centered design process was applied to the results to confirm that the derived services resulted in high satisfaction. In the future, these research results will provide useful applications when developing ICT car services and strategies.

초·중등학생을 위한 디자인적 사고기반의 STEAM교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effect of Design Thinking-based STEAM Program for Primary and Secondary Students)

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of design thinking-based STEAM program for primary and secondary students. The design thinking-based STEAM program dealt with advanced scientific technology issues and it consisted of 8 topics. A questionnaire was developed to explore the change of Science concept awareness, Interest, Self-efficacy, Career consciousness of students through the program. The questionnaire consisted of following 4 areas, such as 'Science concept awareness', 'Interest', 'Career consciousness' and 'Self efficacy'. Pre-post test was conducted to 75 primary and secondary students. As a result of analyzing post-test compared to pre-test, 'Science concept awareness', 'Career consciousness' and 'Self efficacy' of students were improved. And the 'Interest' wasn't changed significantly. Through this research, it can be suggested that the design thinking-based STEAM program can be useful at school education to improve the Science concept awareness, Career consciousness and Self-efficacy of primary and secondary students. It is also proposed that further research of the various areas of interest and other affective variables will be needed.

  • As the direction of education in the fourth industry in the 21st century, convergence talent education that emphasizes the connection and convergence between core competency-based education and academia is emerging to foster creative talent. The purpose of this paper is to present the criteria for evaluating the competency of learning outcomes in order to develop a strategic model for innovation in engineering teaching-learning. In this paper, as a study to establish the direction of implementation of convergence talent education, a creative innovation teaching method support system was established to improve the quality of convergence talent education. Firstly, a plan to develop a teaching-learning model based on computing thinking. Secondly, it presented the development of a teaching-learning model based on linkage and convergence learning. Thirdly, we would like to present educational appropriateness and ease based on convergence learning in connection with curriculum improvement strategies based on computing thinking skills. Finally, we would like to present a strategic model development plan for innovation in engineering teaching-learning that applies the convergence talent education program.

수중로봇 소프트웨어 시스템의 요구사항을 반영한 ROS 기반의 계층화된 소프트웨어 아키텍처의 설계 (Design of Layered Software Architecture Based on ROS That Reflects the Requirements of Underwater Robot Software System)

  • Underwater robots operating in constrained underwater environment have requirements for software systems. Firstly, it is necessary to provide reusable common software components for hardware interface of sensors and actuators that are frequently used in underwater robots. Secondly, it is required to support distributed execution environment on multiple embedded controllers. Thirdly, it is need to implement a monitoring system capable of high-speed and large-data transmission for underwater robots operating in an environment where it is difficult to check the robot status. For these requirements, we have designed the layered architecture pattern and applied several design patterns to enhance the reusability and the maintainability of software components, In addition, we overlaid the broker architecture pattern to support distributed execution environments. Finally, we implemented the underwater robot software system using ROS framework based on the software architecture design. In order to evaluate the performance of the implemented software system, we performed an experiment to measure the response time between components and the transmission rate of the monitoring data, and obtained the results satisfying the required performance.

배관의 신축이음에서의 유동해석을 통한 융합기술연구 (Study on Convergence Technique through Flow Analysis at the Flexible Joint of the Pipe Laying)

  • 본 논문은 신축이음으로 배관과 배관사이에 연결되어 압력과 온도를 조절하는 이음의 안전설계에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 외기와 수송유체의 압력으로 인한 팽창과 수축에 의한 파이프 손상의 문제를 해결하고자 하여 파이프에 작용하는 과중한 압력을 감소시키고 사고발생을 예방하고자 하고자 한다. 3가지 유형의 신축이음을 적용하여 각각의 모델의 유동특성을 시뮬레이션 해석을 통하여 관찰한다. 각각의 모델의 형상에 따라 슬리브형, 벨로우즈형, 루프형의 신축이음 특성을 분류한다. 또한 수송 유체가 신축이음을 통과할 때, 배관에서의 열과 압력, 속도의 유동특성을 분석한다. 본 연구의 결과를 이용하면 신축이음 형상에 따른 안전설계에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 디자인 면에서 융합 기술로의 접목도 가능하여 미적인 감각을 나타낼 수 있다.

게임에서 캐릭터의 융복합 커스터마이징 사례 분석 (Research of Convergence Character Customizing Process in Game)

  • 게임에서 커스터마이징 시스템은 유저의 충성도와 몰입도 뿐만 아니라 구매에도 영향을 끼치는 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 게임 초기 단계인 캐릭터 커스터마이징 시스템의 개념을 고찰하고 이를 바탕으로 대부분의 게임들이 고수하고 있는 시스템의 일정한 형식을 분석하고 도식화 하여 정리한 기본 사례를 비교하였다. 또한 게임 커스터마이징의 기본사례와 차별화된 시스템을 융복합 사례로 구분하고 이를 바탕으로 사실적 타입, 제작 타입, 개성타입, 확장 타입, 4가지로 나누어 분류하였으며, 게임 외에도 새롭게 등장한 커스터마이징 시스템 사례를 분석하였다. 게임의 충성도 상승을 위해서는 확장사례처럼 차별화되고 유저로 하여금 참여도를 지속적으로 유인할 수 있는 시스템은 필수 불가결 요소로 작용된다. 현재까지 나타난 다양한 커스터마이징 융복합 사례 연구를 통해 게임 제작 과정의 가이드로 활용되기를 기대하며, 연구의 한계점인 연구범위를 확장하여 향후 보다 넓은 범위의 사례연구를 통해 지속적인 연구로 상세하게 제시해야 될 것으로 판단된다.

전문대학 예비유아교사 융합형 캡스톤디자인 수업을 통한 지식재산권 연계 사례 연구 (Case Study of Intellectual Property Rights of Pre-service Teachers through Convergence Capstone Design Class)

  • 본 연구는 전문대학 인문사회 전공인 유아교육과에서 융합형 캡스톤디자인 정규교과목을 운영하고, 그 결과물이 특허출원 및 등록이라는 유의미한 지식재산권 확보까지 이어질 수 있는 사례를 제시하였다. 예비유아교사인 학생들은 실습 등의 주요경험을 바탕으로 영유아 관련 현장 전반에 걸친 문제해결을 위한 아이디어를 도출하면서, 기존의 지식재산권 아이디어와 중복되는 부분을 검증하였다. 수행과정의 멘토링을 위한 산업체연계 및 융합형 과제수행을 위한 공학전문가의 참여가 진행되었으며, 이후 정교화과정을 거친 후 교내대회 수상작품들 중 5개팀이 특허출원 및 등록이라는 성과를 만들어낸 과정을 담았다. 이를 통해 창의적이고 실무역량이 중심이 되는 교육과정을 넘어 지식재산권 확보 성과까지 연계되는 융합형 캡스톤디자인교육을 활성화하였다.

The Activation of Transferable Skill of Advanced S & T (Science & Technology) Manpower with the Global HRD Convergence Research

  • Purposes - This study propose the following 4 methods to establish Global HRD system focusing on transferable skill which is attracting attention as future science and technology Manpower. The activation of convergence research creates new industries in the era of 4th industrial revolution. Research design and methodology -This study was conducted by using research methods and expert interviews focused on document analysis. This study also reflects trends through books and materials that cover the latest issues such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Results - 4 Things are reflecting the policies of S&T Manpower and securing execution capability, developing competence-based transferable skill model, enhancing science and technology convergence R&D and performance capability, and developing customized HRD program. Conclusions - Transferable skills will contribute to strengthen the national competitiveness of science and technology in the long term by establishing the foundation of technological innovation that can create new industries and secure future growth power in the 4th industrial revolution era. Practically, it was suggested that science and technology professionals should be able to refer to the HRD program design and HRD program design by suggesting the view of transferable skill and the activation plan reflecting the insight.
