The purpose of this study is to look into development and effects of Mind and Happiness Program for personality cultivation of college students. The program referred to previous studies on personality cultivation, personality cultivation guidelines for college students (Lee Joo Hee, Park Hee Hyun, Park Eun Min, 2010), and 'guidance and reality of personality development' (Kim Yeo Ok, 1999). This program was composed of 13 contents in order to be available in liberal arts selective courses within one semester, each content consisting of 50-minute lecture and 50-minute field activity program. 88 college students at W university in Jeollabukdo was the subjects of experiment group participating in personality cultivation program, which was conducted for 100 minutes once a week over 13 weeks. Degree of participants' satisfaction in the program was measured by the frequency and percentage of surveyed items. Mean difference between pre-test and post-test of participants' self-efficacy and life satisfaction was verified by t-test for comparison and Cohen's d for level of effect, respectively. This survey results in enhancing the self-efficacy and life satisfaction of collegians joined liberal arts selective courses thru personality cultivation program. Furthermore, the subjects after the program intended to recommend this program to other students.
The article herein suggested a compound repository and a descriptive method to develop a compound knowledge process. A data target saved in a compound knowledge repository suggested in this article includes all compound knowledge meta data and digital resources, which can be divided into the three following factors according to the purpose: user roles, functional elements, and service ranges. The three factors are basic components to describe abstract models of repository. In this article, meta data of compound knowledge are defined by being classified into the two factors. A component stands for the property about a main agent, activity unit or resource that use and create knowledge, and a context presents the context in which knowledge object are included. An agent of the compound knowledge process performs classification, registration, and pattern information management of composite knowledge, and serves as data flow and processing between compound knowledge repository and user. The agent of the compound knowledge process consists of the following functions: warning to inform data search and extraction, data collection and output for data exchange in an distributed environment, storage and registration for data, request and transmission to call for physical material wanted after search of meta data. In this article, the construction of a compound knowledge repository for recommendation system to be developed can serve a role to enhance learning productivity through real-time visualization of timely knowledge by presenting well-put various contents to users in the field of industry to occur work and learning at the same time.
Objective: The present study aims to evaluate the visual reactions of users when they are playing games of different flow levels, and to explore the visual variables that can sensitively reflect the different flow levels. Background: The flow is defined as a psychological state where interface users feel their actions in a virtual setting identical to those in real environment. To measure the flow states of users, the questionnaire-based FSS(Flow State Scale) has mostly been used. However, this method is a qualitative test that has limits in terms of the accuracy of users' flow experiences. Therefore, more accurate methods to measure users' flow experiences are required. Method: Ten subjects participated in the experiment, where the independent variables were three games with different flow levels(puzzle games, dot drawing and coloring) and the time frame(the first and last 10 seconds in game playing), whereas the dependent variables included the pupil size and the frequency and duration of eye blinking. This study was a within-subject design. Each participant performed three types of games with different flow levels 3 times for each for 10 minutes, and their visual reactions to each game were measured. Results: The higher the flow cause the bigger pupil size(p<0.01) and the lower eye blinking frequency(p<0.1), indicating that different types of games lead to different flow levels. The pupil size during the last 10 seconds when the flow level was higher was bigger by 2.1% compared with that during the first 10 seconds in game playing(p<0.1), and the eye blinking frequency decreased by 12%(p<0.01). Conclusion: It was found out that the pupil size and the frequency and duration of eye blinking were psychophysiological indices for evaluating users' flow experiences, which could quantify the flow states users go through. The psychophysiological variables capable of measuring diverse aspects of the flow need diversifying to be applicable to precise measurement of the flow. Application: These studies are warranted for both quantitative analysis of flow levels and qualitative improvement of cyber leisure in line with development of healthy games.

Although traffic information has been actively analyzed using big data, it has not been used as much with the consideration of driver characteristics. Among the various types of information, road signs can directly affect the driver. Road signs must provide the optimal information that enables drivers to reach their destinations with ease as well as information suitable for navigation systems. However, present road sign rules provide standardized information, regardless of the road type or size. This study suggests a method for providing road information that will help drivers determine their behavior. First, the minimum character size that can be used on a road sign for each design speed was obtained with respect to the visibility and decipherability of a road sign. Instead of conventional diagram-based direction guidance, a scenario using split-based direction guidance was created. To verify the effectiveness of the provided information, a three-dimensional simulated road environment was constructed, and a driving simulator was used for the test. At a simple plane intersection, the driver was not greatly influenced by directional guidance, but at a complex, three-dimensional intersection, the driver preferred summary-based directional guidance, which is instinctive guidance, over diagram-based guidance. On the basis of the test results, a secondary verification test that applied split-based guidance at a three-dimensional intersection confirmed that the driver had no problems in making decisions.
The purpose of this study was conducted to investigate the perception and attitude toward physical restraints among elderly care workers. The subjects were 153 care workers who are working at elderly care facilities within the regions. Data were collected by structured questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The mean score of the perception for physical restraints was 2.83 out of 5, and the mean score of the attitude for the physical restraints was 3.56 out of 5. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between the perception and attitude about physical restraints (r=.31, p<.001). This research has confirmed that it is necessary for care workers to have education about low score items of recognition and attitude about physical restraints. Therefore, we need to develop proper and efficient educational program about use method for physical restraints, and need to develop guideline for adopting physical restraints. Also, we should make efforts and attentions to reduce or abolish physical restraints in order to protect the elderly human rights.
Traffic accidents in the country have steadily increased. Although IOT technologies have been applied so as to prevent the primary accident, practical solutions to prevent the secondary accident have not been suggested. A general guideline is simply recommended. In this paper, utilizing existing communication technology, we implement a proposed model and its simulation to prevent the secondary accident. When it is possible for a driver to secure visibility, the secondary accident can be prevented; In areas like tunnel, mountain terrain, and curve road with heavy traffic, where the driver has difficulty in securing the visibility, the secondary accident rates after the primary accident have been increasing. Therefore, we implement an accident prevention system that determines the primary accident utilizing sensor technology and prevents the secondary accident communicating through V2V or V2I. After the simulation, we found that the proposed model and the existing model made no difference with regard to the secondary accident rates when the visibility of the driver is secured; With the application of the proposed model, however, the accident rates decreased for 3-7 percent even though the visibility and communication were not secured.
A smart key has been used in a variety of embedded environments and there also have been attacks from a remote place by amplifying signals at a location of a user. Existing studies on defence techniques suggest multiple sensors and hash functions to improve authentication speed; these, however, increase the electricity usage and the probability of type 1 error. For these reasons, I suggest an embedded security controller based on client authentication and user movement information improving the authentication method between a controller and a host device. I applied encryption algorithm to the suggested model for communication using an Arduino board, GPS, and Bluetooth and performed authentication through path analysis utilizing user movement information for the authentication. I found that the change in usability was nonsignificant when performing actions using the suggested model by evaluating the time to encode and decode. The embedded security controller in the model can be applied to the system of a remote controller for a two-wheeled vehicle or a mobile and stationary host device; in the process of studying, I found that encryption and decryption could take less then 100ms. The later study may deal with protocols to speed up the data communication including encryption and decryption and the path data management.
The objectives of this study was to examine the effect of Interactive Video Game on cognitive information processing the elderly. Sixty elderly were attended in this study. Their ages ranged from 65 to 70, with a mean age of 67.60 years. The subjects were randomly assigned to one of three experimental conditions: (1) interactive video game group (n=20), (2) aerobic exercise group (n=20), (3) control group (n=20). The experimental design of this study was analyzed using two-way ANOVAs with repeated measures of groups and time. Cognitive function was assessed by neuroelectrical response, and ERP analysis. The results of the study showed that the interactive video game group and aerobic exercise group showed no significant statistical differences in the response time, response accuracy, amplitude and potential of the performance of the exercise in cognitive function and ERP analysis, but improved the interaction video game group and aerobic exercise (walking) group over the control group. It was concluded that long-term aerobic exercise like interactive video game is associated with attenuation of cognitive decline in the elderly.

To evaluate surface characteristics and improve crystalline quality of AlN single crystal grown by physical vapor transport (PVT) method, wet chemical etching process using $KOH/H_2O_2$ mixture in a low temperature condition and thermal annealing process was proceeded respectively. Conventional etching process using strong base etchant at a high temperature (above $300^{\circ}C$) had formed over etching phenomenon according to crystalline quality of materials. When it occurred to over etching phenomenon, it had a low reliability of dislocation density because it cannot show correct number of etch pits per estimated area. Therefore, it was proceeded to etching process in a low temperature (below $100^{\circ}C$) using $H_2O_2$ as an oxidizer in KOH aqueous solution and to be determined optimum etching condition and dislocation density via scanning electron microscope (SEM). For improving crystalline quality of AlN single crystal, thermal annealing process was proceeded. When compared with specimens as-prepared and as-annealed, full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the specimen as-annealed was decreased exponentially, and we analyzed the mechanism of this process via double crystal X-ray diffraction (DC-XRD).
