하상사력재를 이용한 CFRD의 연구 (A Study of CFRD using a Gravel Fill)

  • In the construction of dam, the key factor which decides the type of dam is security of materials resource. Because of the large scale earth work, the ability to supply the materials is essential part about economical efficiency. The research is the case study about controlling the plan to secure the material resources in the design of Buhang multipurpose dam. In case of Buhang multipurpose dam, at that time of basic design, it was planned to use a rock fill material. From the detail investigation about the river bed accumulative layer widely spread on the submerged district on the basic design, the research is accomplished to replace rock material with gravel material. After the investigation of whole reserves of gravel material, estimation of conformity as dam construction material from analysis of grain size distribution, the case study of oversea construction, and the material property comparison between rock fill material and gravel fill material, it is verified th possibility of using the gravel fill. Thereafter, the analysis of dam stability using a gravel fill material is accomplished. Finally, A gravel fill material can be used as the main construction material of CFRD, therefore the efficiency of resource recycling in the submerged area is maximized, and the established plan is more advantageous to stability, constructibility, environmentibility than the case of using a rock fill.

구매심리과정(AIDMA)모델을 적용한 식음공간의 실내디자인요소 분석 (Analysis of Interior Design Elements in Food and Beverage Applying the Psychological Process of Purchasing(AIDMA) Model)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data that can improve added value of commercial space strategically using the identification of relationship between the process of consumers' purchasing psychology (AIDMA : Attention, Interest, Desire, Memory, Action) and elements of interior design. For this purpose, case study and survey were carried out on food and beverage spaces, where they were doing business for more than two years, were selected from the ones appeared in the interior journal "A." Based on the study, basic details including a ground plan, design summary and representative image were identified through preliminary research, and a researcher visited the target spaces and carried out a research and analysis on interior design elements. Three spaces among targets of the case study were selected to identify the relation between design elements and AIDMA items which consumers feel, and the survey was conducted on the customers of the selected food and beverage spaces. Results of the case study on the 18 food and beverage spaces showed that features of the each of AIDMA items in material and color elements were most well expressed. As a result of survey conducted on visitors of each food and beverage space, features of each item were expressed in overall design elements. In particular, space elements and color elements in "Space 1," space elements and lighting elements in "Space 2" and space elements, furniture & objet elements in "Space 3" were most well expressed in each space. There were slight differences depending on individual characteristics such as design concept, location and business operation of target food and beverage spaces but attributes of AIDMA items were remarkably recognized in common in the space elements.

Interference and Efficiency analysis of 2K-H I Type Differential Gear Unit

  • In the design of epicyclic gearing, the analysis of interference and mechanical efficiency is an important index. As an applied way, epicyclic gearing can be used for planetary gear drive and differential gear unit. In case that one of its components is fixed with intend, it is called planetary gear drive. On the contrary, in case that no component is fixed, it is called differential gear unit. In this paper, various design constraints and interferences are defined for 2K-H I type epicyclic gearing which is a basic arrangement of diverse epicyclic gearings. And various interferences are analyzed, and mechanical efficiency is calculated in case that 2K-H I epicyclic gearing is used for a differential gear unit as the change of gear ratio, cutter pressure angle, addendum modification coefficient. As that results, trend of mechanical efficiency is investigated in the ranges of addendum modification coefficients which would not lead to interferences, and the optimal range of addendum modification coefficient which can generate the maximum mechanical efficiency are presented. In order to prove results of theoretical efficiency analysis, experimental studies are performed.

  • In this study, we examine a variety of influences in the field of design and analysis about the value of visual tactile design. In hair design, through study on visual tactility, creative design inspiration in the field of hair design enables development of quality research. Research methods use Internet publications such as local and foreign data, analysis, and related research and book forms, such as network searches. library goes for consideration by a literature search. Contents of this study used review of the case and by visual tactility design, for this study, expressive characteristics by color, texture and form of hair design, from 2014-2017 trend shown in the last three years the expressions of visual tactility being used through the analysis of design by date of the case. Result of this study is, visual tactile design appearing in the areas of hair design, that are not of the rules that are active, abstract form, texture, described as a visual feel the promotion of effective, and light and high brightness is sweet tactile impression, high saturation was cold, dark color was hard and heavy, red system is warm and the blue system is cold sense. In general, design trend in hair for three years from 2014-2017, visual tactility in 2014 is a high saturation and unstructured also soft and bright colors. 2015 is on the overall shape, color, texture, hybrid design configuration is more. As of 2016, 2017 is curved and straight texture, appearance of the hybrid mix to maximize the visual tactility.

  • There is a need to analyze various factors in evacuation safety assessment of building in fire. In the current performance based design, evacuation safety assessment in case of fire is being conducted through the simulation as FDS and Pathfinder. However, the location and size of the door, the location of evacuation in the event of a fire are not considered when design. Accordingly, it is difficult to determine the worst case scenario considering the actual fire. Therefore in this study, in this study, we will propose an appropriate evaluation plan through simulation considering the worst-case scenario that may occur in case of fire.

  • The investigation deals with the manufacturing process design and deformation analysis for seamless pressure vessels Axisymmetric multistage deep drawing is a complex and important sheet metal forming process in the industry. In this study the process design for large size cylindrical shells with various thickness is performed and a general guideline for forming process design of pressure vessels will be suggested. Thus in this paper for the verification of the forming process design the forming analysis of pressure vessels will be carried out by PAM-STAMP which is on the basis of finite element analysis. In this case the formability of pressure vessels is evaluated using the results of computer simulation.

  • A New environment SENSATION for circuit optimization and statistical analysis has been developed. It provides real time simulation and includes automatic algorithms to assist for reaching optimal solution. Furthermore, statistical analysis environment is presented which aids in Monte Carlo analysis. worst case corner analysis, and sensitivity analysis. These capabilities faciliate the characterization of the effects of several operating conditions and manufacture process paramenters on the design performances. We verify that the proposed methods can obtain the optimal solution of the objective function through several experimental results.

자동차 조향 장치의 정적 및 동적 응력해석 (Static and Dynamic Analysis of Automotive Steering System)

  • This study is analyzed by the simulation of automotive steering system. The maximum equivalent stress of $2.2418{\times}109Pa$ and the maximum total displacement of 0.014929m are shown at the universal joint and its lower part respectively. As the minimum cycle of 34.047 is shown at the universal joint in case of fatigue analysis, it is possible to have greatest damage at this part. In case of natural frequency analysis at vibration, its frequency of 47 to 59Hz is occurred generally. The maximum total displacement of 0.5m is shown at handle on the natural frequency of 57 to 58Hz. And the displacement over 2m is shown at the lower part of universal joint on the natural frequency of 58 to 59Hz. As the basis of the simulation analysis of steering system, passenger's comfort of car body can be improved in the design of practical part and the design effect necessary to safe driving can be promoted.

  • Port development is remarkable increased due to the progress of industrialization in ASEAN area. Especially, Vietnam has increased the international physical distribution in this area rapidly. The main issues facing decision makers at container terminals in Vietnam are how to expand the existing container terminals and construct new container terminals. In this paper, we performed the basic design based on simulation analysis in order to support the expansion of Quy Nhon port in Vietnam as a case study. The preliminary capacity analysis was conducted on the one berth at the port to analyze the scale of C/C and yard area. Alternative scenarios were created based on the preliminary capacity analysis and the detailed simulation analysis was conducted fur the scenarios. And in order to establish the marketing strategy, we classified the marketing elements by industrial environment and performed SWAT analysis of the port.

Detecting artefacts in analyses of extreme wind speeds

  • The impact of artefacts in archived wind observations on the design wind speed obtained by extreme value analysis is demonstrated using case studies. A signpost protocol for detecting candidate artefacts is described and its performance assessed by comparing results against previously validated data. The protocol targets artefacts by exploiting the serial correlation between observations. Additional "sieve" algorithms are proposed to identify types of correctable artefact from their "signature" in the data. In extreme value analysis, artefacts displace valid observations only when they are larger, hence always increase the design wind speed. Care must be taken not identify large valid values as artefacts, since their removal will tend to underestimate the design wind speed.
