팜제벨알리교량 설계 및 시공 기준 (Design and Construction Specifications of Main and Crescent Bridges in Palm Jebel Ali)

  • Design of main and crescent bridges in Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai, is based on AASHTO LRFD. Additional standards and reports are also considered to reflect regional conditions. In addition, JAFZA's Bridge Design Guideline is reviewed for their approval. This article focuses on modified design requirements such as load and durability fit to the middle east area. Technical specifications are mentioned briefly.

Strategies and Advancement in Antibody-Drug Conjugate Optimization for Targeted Cancer Therapeutics

  • Antibody-drug conjugates utilize the antibody as a delivery vehicle for highly potent cytotoxic molecules with specificity for tumor-associated antigens for cancer therapy. Critical parameters that govern successful antibody-drug conjugate development for clinical use include the selection of the tumor target antigen, the antibody against the target, the cytotoxic molecule, the linker bridging the cytotoxic molecule and the antibody, and the conjugation chemistry used for the attachment of the cytotoxic molecule to the antibody. Advancements in these core antibody-drug conjugate technology are reflected by recent approval of Adectris$^{(R)}$(anti-CD30-drug conjugate) and Kadcyla$^{(R)}$(anti-HER2 drug conjugate). The potential approval of an anti-CD22 conjugate and promising new clinical data for anti-CD19 and anti-CD33 conjugates are additional advancements. Enrichment of antibody-drug conjugates with newly developed potent cytotoxic molecules and linkers are also in the pipeline for various tumor targets. However, the complexity of antibody-drug conjugate components, conjugation methods, and off-target toxicities still pose challenges for the strategic design of antibody-drug conjugates to achieve their fullest therapeutic potential. This review will discuss the emergence of clinical antibody-drug conjugates, current trends in optimization strategies, and recent study results for antibody-drug conjugates that have incorporated the latest optimization strategies. Future challenges and perspectives toward making antibody-drug conjugates more amendable for broader disease indications are also discussed.

노년층 여성의 생활양식에 따른 의복행동 (Clothing Behavior of Elderly Women by Lifestyle Groups)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify clothing behavior of elderly women and compare the clothing behavior by different types of lifestyle among females aged 50~69. A questionnaire was developed to measure the clothing behavior, lifestyle and demographic characteristics. The questionnaire was administered to 445 females aged 50~69 during february and May of 1994. Data were analyzed by using factor analysis, cluster analysis, ann MANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The lifestyle factors were derived: they were Economics oriented, Leisure oriented, Traditional family oriented, Consumption oriented, Self-confidence oriented, and Independence oriented. The respondents were categorized into five groups such as Conservatives, Independents, Pleasure seekers, Positivists, and Material seekers. 2. Symbolism, interest, aesthetics and management showed significant differences in different lifestyle groups. 3. Comfort, modesty, and approval showed significant differences in age and family lifestage. Dependence, management, comfort, modesty, and approval showed significant differences in marital status. Aesthetics, comfort, dependence, interest, modesty, and symbolism showed significant differences in educational level and the money they can spend on clothes in one month.

  • 본 논문은 개별적으로 사용자 인증 시스템이 구현된 16개 시 도교육청 교육정보서비스와 한국교육학술정보원의 교육정보서비스를 단일 사용자 인증을 통해 모두 이용할 수 있는 최적의 방안을 연구하여 도출한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 도출된 방안에 따라 통합 사용자 인증 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현함으로써 16개 시 도교육청과 한국교육학술정보원이 공동으로 운영 중인 전국교육정보공유체제의 교육정보 서비스 이용에 편리성을 도모하는 동시에 사용자 인증 관리의 효율과 안전을 기할 수 있는 방안을 마련하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the timing of Gentrification by the study through the analysis of licensing data for food service businesses under the correlation with regional policies and systems. In addition, by analyzing the change in location patterns of the food service business in the district unit plan zones, the cause, development patterns and regional differences were identified. Starting with the Seoul hanok declaration in 2008, the approval of the food service business began to increase, and the floating population increased with the restoration of the Suseong Valley in 2012, and the concentration of food service business increased significantly on the waterway (Jahamun-ro 7-gil). Since the designation of Ikseon-dong as an urban environment readjustment zone in 2004, the approval of new food service business has been very low until around 2014, when the cooperative establishment committee is dissolved, and as the district unit plan for the preservation of hanok and regional management is being established, the number of new permits has exploded to date and restaurants in hanok conservation zones has been active.

  • 본 논문은 선박에서 발생하는 여러 해양오염원 중에서 선박평형수에서 야기되는 해양생태계의 오염 문제를 해결하기 위하여 사용되는 방법중에서 가장 효율적인 방식인 전기분해 방식에 대한 시스템 설계에 관한 연구로서, IMO의 밸러스트수 관리시스템 승인을 받기 위한 첫 번째 단계인 Basic Approval(랩테스트)을 받기 위한 전기분해 전원장치를 설계하고 시뮬레이션으로 검증하였다.

  • The goal of this paper is to select and analyze the sound for robot which can help and serve the big retail market, as the part of research for design foundation development of Human Robot Interface. The sounds which are related with activity, such as thanks, reject, agony,absurdity, gladness, approval, were selected among targeted sounds with 2 step SD method. The result for using Quantitative analysis model-3 with psychological similar degree of selected sound was argued with 'the brightness of sound' and 'violent of sound'.

Current and future Statistical Consideration in Bioequivalence Trials

  • In 2001 US FDA proposed a draft guidance for future in vivo bioequivalence studies. The guidance suggested specific criteria for new drug sponsors to show prescribability and switchability in bioequivalence testing for approval of generic drugs. However, there is less acceptance of the need to change statistical procedures and study designs from those currently used to assess the current criterion of average bioequivalence. The measures of population and individual bioequivalence testing are introduced and statistical procedures for them are discussed.
