담수심 처리가 논의 물수지에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Ponding Depth Treatment on Water Balance in Paddy Fields)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of ponding depth treatment on water balance in paddy fields. Three ponding depth treatments, very shallow, shallow, and deep were used. The experimental plots were three 80m $\times$ 8m rectangular plots. Daily values of rainfall amount, ponding depth, irrigation water, drainage water, evapotranspiration, and infiltration were measured in the field. The ponding depth was continuously observed by water level logger during the growing season. The ET was measured by 1-m diameter PVC lysimeters. Irrigation water volume was measured by 75 mm pipe flowmeters and the drainage water volume by 75 mm pipe flowmeters and a recording Parshall flume. The results showed that irrigation water depths were 688.9 mm, 513.6 mm, and 624.4 mm in very shallow, shallow, and deep ponding, respectively. The effective rainfall amounts (effective ratio) were 243.7 mm(48.8%), 344.6 mm(68.9%), and 272.9 mm(54.6%) in very shallow, shallow, and deep ponding, respectively. The three treatments did not show any statistical difference in growth and yields. But the shallow depth treatment showed the largest yield.

Using Ultrasonography Measurements to Determine the Depth of the GB 21 Acupoint to Prevent Pneumothorax

  • Introductions: Pneumothorax is the most frequent severe acupuncture-related adverse event occurring at the GB 21 acupoint. This study used ultrasonography (US) to measure the depth of the GB 21 acupoint in adults and assessed its applicability for ensuring safe acupuncture practices. Materials and methods: A US probe was used to measure the vertical depth from the skin to the pleural line of the apex of the lungs at the right and left GB 21 acupoints. The sex, age, body weight, height, and body mass index of each person were recorded. Student t test and generalized estimating equations were used for statistical analysis. Results: Sixty women and 41 men with a median age of 29 years were included in this study. The depth of GB 21 increased with body weight, height, and body mass index (p < 0.001). The mean depth of GB 21 in men (17.4 mm) was greater than that in women (14.6 mm; p < 0.001). The depth difference between the right and left shoulders was significant in men (p < 0.001) but not in women. Conclusions: US can be used to measure GB 21 acupoint depth. Further control studies on its use to ensure safe clinical practices, including preventing acupuncture-related pneumothorax, are warranted.

3차원 전도체의 공간적 위치 및 크기에 따른 차이 지시자의 특성 연구 (A study on the characteristics of difference arrow using three-dimensional MT(Magneto-Telluric) modeling)

  • 지자기수직탐사(GDS; Geomagnetic Depth Sounding)에서의 차이 지시자(difference arrow)의 유용성을 조사하기 위하여 3차원 MT(Magneto-Telluric)모델링을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 전도체와 해양의 공간적 위치 및 전도체의 크기에 따른 차이 지시자의 특성을 조사하였다. 전도체가 지표에 존재할 때 본 연구에서 사용된 모델의 경우 사용된 주기가 장주기(40분 이상)거나 해양과의 거리가 멀어지면(150 km 이상) 상호결합이 무시할 정도로 약해 차이 지시자가 유의미하였다. 그러나 전도체가 심부에 매몰된 경우 차이 지시자의 유용성은 그 크기에 의존적이며 전도체가 충분히 큰 경우 상호결합이 장주기까지 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 가능성을 확인하였다. 또한 수직적으로 확장된 전도체의 경우 전 주기에서 상호결합이 강화되어 장주기에서도 차이 지시자의 유용성을 확신할 수 없었다. 따라서 획득된 유도 지시자로부터 해양처럼 이미 알고 있는 전도체의 효과를 제거하기 위해서는 전도체 간의 상호 결합에 대한 정보가 요구되며 유용성이 확인된 차이 지시자는 물리적 지지를 바탕으로 지하 구조에 대한 정보를 제공할 것이다.

통일계벼의 침수피해요인에 관한 실험적 연구(II) - 침수가 벼수량에 끼치는 영향을 중심으로 - (An Experimental Study on the Factors Affecting Damages of Submerged Rice Plants in Tong-il Variety Plots (II) -Emphasis on the Effects of Submergence Treatment on the Grain yields of Rice Plants-)

  • This research is mainly to deal with the effects of submergence treatment on the grain yields of two rice plants, local variety, "Akibare" and Tongil line variety, "Milyang 23". The results obtained are summarized as follows. 1. According to the rice products of each plot the grain yield index was smallest in the plot treated at the early heading stage. The index of the next order became smaller in order of late flowering stage, late reduction division stage, milk ripe stage and dough ripe stage etc. The submerged stage at which the damages were smallest was tillering stage. Under the condition of two thirds or one third submerged depth of plant height, few differences in the grain yield index between Milyang 23 and Akibare was found, but except rooting stage, the damages of milyang 23 by whole submergence during growing period were mostly greater than those of Akibare. Especially the grain yield index of early heading stage at which the damages by whole submergence was most serious showed 45 percentage for one day submergence, 31 percentage for 3 days and 0.7 percentage for 7 days in Akibare plots, and 26.7% percentage for one day submergence, 7.9 percentage for 3 days and none for 7 days in Milyang 23 plots. 2. All the factors such as submerged stage, submerged depth and submerged period in this experimental test were highly recognized significance. The factors of the submerged depth and duration influenced on greater damages than the others. According to the difference in grain yield between plots, the larger the submerged depth and duration were, the larger the significant difference appeared. And between the treated levels at other submerged stages except both early tillering stage and most active tillering stage, the significance in the differences in grain yield was recognized, while only the submergence at early heading stage showed the most serious damages. 3. The decreased rate of grain yield for one day submergence at early heading stage indicated that in case of whole submergence of plant height it was 73 percentage in Milyang 23 plot and 55 percentage in Akibare plot, and in the event of two thirds and one third submergences of it, 20 percentage and 10 percentage in both Mulyang 23 and Akibare plots respectively. Therefore, the current criteria for planning project that restricted allowable submergence duration of more than 30cm submerged depth to 24 hours, should be amended not to exceed the submerged depth of 60cm when the duration of more than allowable submerged depth of 30cm will be limited to 24 hours, or within the limits of 12 hour submerged duration for locai variety and of less than 12 hour duration for Tong-illine variety as long as possible in case that submerged depth will be allowed to more than 60cm depth.ore than 60cm depth.

주사전자현미경과 공촛점 레이저 주사현미경을 이용한 치과용 수복레진의 부식에 관한 연구 (SEM AND CONFOCAL LASER SCANNING MICROSCOPIC STUDY ON THE CORROSION OF DENTAL RESTORATIVE RESINS)

  • 본 연구에서는 Prodigy(Kerr, USA), Vitalescence(Ultradent, USA), Z 250(3M, USA), Filtek flow(3M, USA)의 4종의 복합레진을 사용하여 각 제품의 분해저항성을 평가하고자 하였다. 무게손실, 표면하 분해층 깊이, 용출된 Si 농도를 기준으로 각 레진의 분해저항성을 평가하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 무게손실량은 Prodigy와 Vitalescence사이, Z 250과 Filtek flow사이에는 차이를 보이지 않았으며 전후 제품군 간에는 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 2. 분해층 깊이는 Z 250, Filtek flow, Prodigy, Vitalescence순으로 감소하였으며, 네가지 제품간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 3. Si 용출량은 Filtek flow, Z 250, Prodigy, Vitalescence 순으로 감소하였으며, 각 제품 간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 4. 각 제품의 무게손실과 분해층 깊이 사이(r=0.714, p<0.05), 무게손실과 Si 용출량 사이(r=0.770, p<0.05), 분해층 깊이와 Si 용출량 사이 (r=0.930, p<0.05)에는 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 5. 주사전자현미경 관찰시 NaOH 용액에 보관한 후 레진 기질과 필러 사이의 결합의 파괴를 관찰할 수 있었다. 6. 공촛점 레이저 현미경 관찰시 NaOH용액에 보관한 후 레진의 분해층 깊이를 관찰할 수 있었다.

깊이맵의 상세도와 주피사체의 깊이 변화에 따른 3D 이미지의 입체효과 (Stereoscopic Effect of 3D images according to the Quality of the Depth Map and the Change in the Depth of a Subject)

  • 본 연구에서는 피사체의 깊이와 깊이 표현의 상세레벨(detail level)을 각기 다르게 조정한 깊이맵을 이용하여 2D-to-3D 입체변환을 수행하고, 변환된 입체 이미지를 기반으로 시청자 평가 실험을 진행하여 피사체의 절대적 깊이 변화와 배경간의 깊이 차이에 따라 깊이맵의 상세레벨이 깊이감, 볼륨감, 불편감에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 주객체의 깊이는 3 레벨로 조정하였고, 또한, 주객체와 배경과의 상대적 깊이 차이도 하나의 독립변인으로 분석하기 위하여 3 레벨로 조정하였다. 깊이맵의 깊이 표현의 상세레벨을 다시 3레벨로 나누어, 이들 조건을 만족하는 18개의 깊이맵을 정의하고 이를 기반으로 실험을 위한 입체영상을 생성하였다. 18개의 입체영상을 실험참가자에게 보여 주고 설문을 통하여 각 영상별로 실험자들이 느끼는 주관적 입체감, 볼륨감, 불편감을 조사하였다. 그 결과 주 피사체의 절대적 위치와 피사체-배경간의 상대적 거리차이가 달라짐에 따라 깊이맵의 상세도가 깊이감, 볼륨감, 불편감에 미치는 영향력이 달라지는 결과를 얻었다. 단색 깊이맵의 경우는 주객체의 절대적 깊이위치에 상관없이 전반적으로 볼륨감을 크게 훼손하고, 스크린의 안쪽에 객체가 위치하는 경우, 다른 상세레벨의 깊이맵에 비해 깊이감도 크게 저하시키는 효과를 보이기 때문에 주객체의 절대적 위치와 상관없이 사용을 피하는 것이 바람직 한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 세밀한 깊이맵과 간략한 깊이맵을 적용하였을 때 실험자가 입체감을 크게 다르게 느끼지 못하는 것으로 나타남에 따라 입체변환시 모든 장면에 너무 과도하게 상세한 깊이맵을 구성할 필요가 없는 것으로 분석되었다.

깊이 정보 추출을 위한 오프셋 화소 조리개가 적용된 단색 CMOS 이미지 센서의 디스패리티 추정 (Estimation of Disparity for Depth Extraction in Monochrome CMOS Image Sensors with Offset Pixel Apertures)

  • In this paper, the estimation of the disparity for depth extraction in monochrome complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors with offset pixel apertures is presented. To obtain the depth information, the disparity information between two different channel data of the offset pixel apertures is required. The disparity is caused by the difference in the response angle between the left- and right-offset pixel aperture images. A depth map is implemented by the generated disparity. Therefore, the disparity is the most important factor for realizing 3D images from the designed CMOS image sensor with offset pixel apertures. The disparity is influenced by the pixel height and offset value of the offset pixel aperture. To confirm this correlation, the offset value is set to maximum within the pixel area, and the disparity values corresponding to the difference in the heights are calculated and compared. The disparity is derived using the camera-lens formula. Two monochrome CMOS image sensors with offset pixel apertures are used in the disparity estimation.

민감도 분석을 통한 주열식벽체가 저토피 토사터널 거동에 미치는 영향 분석 (Influence analysis of continuous pile walls on the behavior of a soil tunnel at the shallow depth through a parametric study)

  • 최근 세계 여러 나라에서는 지하공간의 활용이 증가하고 있다. 특히, 저심도 굴착의 경우 대부분 개착식 굴착공법을 적용하는데, 극심한 교통 체증 및 인접구조물의 불안정 등의 문제가 발생될 수도 있다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해서 저토피 토사구간에서 충분한 안정성을 확보하고 공사기간을 최소화하며 터널을 굴착할 수 있는 M-CAM공법(Modified Cellular Arch Method)이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 M-CAM공법 적용 시 주열식 수직연속벽체(Continuous Pile Wall, CPW)의 규격 및 지반조건이 터널 거동에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 민감도분석을 수행하였다. 우선 터널의 안정성에 영향을 주는 매개변수로는 수직연속벽체의 근입깊이, 직경, 측압계수 그리고 지반상태를 선정하였다. 한편 수치해석을 위해서, 유한차분법에 기초를 둔 FLAC 2D가 이용되었다. 본 연구결과 수직연속벽체의 규격 중 근입깊이가 터널 안정성에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것을 확인되었다.

Evaluation of penetration depth of 2% chlorhexidine digluconate into root dentinal tubules using confocal laser scanning microscope

  • Objectives: This study evaluated the penetration depth of 2% chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) into root dentinal tubules and the influence of passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI) using a confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM). Materials and Methods: Twenty freshly extracted anterior teeth were decoronated and instrumented using Mtwo rotary files up to size 40, 4% taper. The samples were randomly divided into two groups (n = 10), that is, conventional syringe irrigation (CSI) and PUI. CHX was mixed with Rhodamine B dye and was used as the final irrigant. The teeth were sectioned at coronal, middle and apical levels and viewed under CLSM to record the penetration depth of CHX. The data were statistically analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests. Results: The mean penetration depths of 2% CHX in coronal, middle and apical thirds were $138{\mu}m$, $80{\mu}m$ and $44{\mu}m$ in CSI group, respectively, whereas the mean penetration depths were $209{\mu}m$, $138{\mu}m$ and $72{\mu}m$ respectively in PUI group. Statistically significant difference was present between CSI group and PUI group at all three levels (p < 0.01 for coronal third and p < 0.001 for middle and apical thirds). On intragroup analysis, both groups showed statistically significant difference among three levels (p < 0.001). Conclusions: Penetration depth of 2% CHX into root dentinal tubules is deeper in coronal third when compared to middle and apical third. PUI aided in deeper penetration of 2% CHX into dentinal tubules when compared to conventional syringe irrigation at all three levels.

Fast Holographic Image Reconstruction Using Phase-Shifting Assisted Depth Detection Scheme for Optical Scanning Holography

  • For the implementation of a real-time holographic camera, fast and automatic holographic image reconstruction is an essential technology. In this paper, we propose a new automatic depth-detection algorithm for fast holography reconstruction, which is particularly useful for optical scanning holography. The proposed algorithm is based on the inherent phase difference information in the heterodyne signals, and operates without any additional optical or electrical components. An optical scanning holography setup was created using a heterodyne frequency of 4 MHz with a 500-mm distance and 5-mm depth resolution. The reconstruction processing time was measured to be 0.76 s, showing a 62% time reduction compared to a recent study.
