  • Kinetic studies on the reactions of Y-S-aryl phenyl phosphonochloridothioates with X-pyridines have been carried out in MeCN at $55.0^{\circ}C$. The Hammett and Bronsted plots for substituent X variations in the nucleophiles are biphasic concave upwards with a break point at X = H. The Hammett plots for substituent Y variations in the substrates are biphasic concave upwards with a break point at Y = H, and the sign of ${\rho}_Y$ is changed from unusual negative (${\rho}_Y$ < 0) with the weaker electrophiles to positive (${\rho}_Y$ > 0) with the stronger electrophiles. The stepwise mechanism is proposed on the basis of the ${\rho}_X$, ${\beta}_X$, and ${\rho}_{XY}$ values as follows: a ratelimiting leaving group departure from the intermediate involving a frontside attack and product-like TS for the stronger nucleophiles and weaker electrophiles; a rate-limiting leaving group departure from the intermediate involving a backside attack and product-like TS for the weaker nucleophiles and electrophiles; a rate-limiting bond formation involving a frontside attack for the stronger nucleophiles and electrophiles; a rate-limiting bond formation involving a backside attack for the weaker nucleophiles and stronger electrophiles. The substituent effects of X and Y on the pyridinolysis mechanisms of $R_1R_2P$(=S)Cl-type substrates are discussed.

  • The change of traffic by the CDV is entered in a condensed form in UPC/NPC, overflowing the buffer of the net and possibly causing its congestion. For this reason this paper proposes the Cell Spacing Scheme. As the Cell Spaing Scheme. two method is proposed; RAT based on the time in which cells enter the spacer and RDT based on the time in which cells come out from the spacer. This Paper Proposes the improved spacing sheme in which the departure time of the present cell determines the departure time of the next one, by combining with Leaky Bucket and using the traffic characteristics of ATM network.

  • Socially, citizens' safety needs get higher, therefore support system of emergency vehicles is desperate as it is one of national services. For emergency vehicles, rapid departure and prompt field arrival are necessary. However, delay of departure occurs frequently due to traffic jam within a city so it makes citizens suffer from inappropriate service. Thus this study researched overseas examples in order to adduce solution of obstacles we have when passing through bridges and tunnel. In order to help emergency vehicles to move smoothly, a proposal of design and method for rapid support system was made.

  • This paper proposes a fourth generation index $C_{psk}$, constructed from $C_{psk}$, by introducing the factor|$\mu$-T| in the numerator as an extra penalty for the departure of the process mean from the preassigned target value T. The motivation behind the introduction of $C_{psk}$ is that when $T\neqM$ process shifts away from target are evaluated without respect to direction. All indices that are now in use assume normally distributed data, and any use of the indices on non-normal data results in inaccurate capability measurements. In this paper, a new process capability index $C_{psk}$ is introduced for non-normal process. The Pearson curve and the Johnson curve are selected for capability index calculation and data modeling the normal-based index $C_{psk}$ is used as the model for non-normal process. A significant result of this research find that the ranking of the six indices, $C_{p}$, $C_{pk}$, $C_{pm}$, ${C^*}_{psk}$, $C_{pmk}$, $C_{psk}$in terms of sensitivity to departure of the process median from the target value from the most sensitive one up to the least sensitive are $C_{psk}$, $C_{pmk}$, ${C^*}_{psk}$,$C_{pm}$, $C_{pk}$, $C_{p}$.

  • This paper derives medium access delay of each AC(Access Category) in a stationary station using inter-departure time of IEEE 802.11e WLAN(Wireless LAN). Inter-departure time of IEEE 802.11e WLAN is obtained using saturation throughput of IEEE 802.11e WLAN which was the topic of our prior work. By using a simple queueing model, we evaluate mean queue length and mean delay for each AC on stationary condition. We calculate performance of each AC using this simple model and validate results using simulation.

  • Second-order rate constants have been measured spectrophotometrically for the nucleophilic substitution reactions of aryl substituted benzenesulfonates $(1,\;X-C_6H_4SO_2-OC_6H_4-Y)$ with aryloxides $(Z-C_6H_4O^{-})$ and ethoxide $(EtO^-)$ in absolute ethanol at $25^{circ}C$. The nucleophilicity of aryloxides increases with increasing electron donating ability of the substituent (Z) on aryloxides, and results in a good Hammett correlation with $\sigma^{-}$ constant. The reactivity of 1 toward aryloxides and ethoxide shows also significant dependence on the electronic nature of the substituent X and Y. Large positive ${\sigma}_{acyl}$ values have been obtained for the reaction of 1 with phenoxide and ethoxide, indicating that the leaving group departure is little advanced at the transition-state of the rate-determining step. This has been further supported from the fact that ${\sigma}^-$ constant gives extremely poor Hammett correlation, while ${\sigma}^0$ does reasonably good correlation for the reaction of 1 with ethoxide. Thus, the present sulfonyl-transfer reaction is proposed to proceed via a ratedetermining attack of nucleophile to the sulfur atom of 1 followed by a fast leaving group departure.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to present evidence for quality management based on analysis of patient transportation and response intervals among emergency medical squads. Methods: The chi-square test was used to determine whether mental status and patient assessment affected direct medical control and hospital destination. One way analysis of variance was used to compare response intervals depending on mental status and patient assessment using data drawn from 1172 prehospital care reports. Results: There was a statistically significant relationship between mental status and direct medical control (p<.001); there was a statistically significant relationship between patient assessment and hospital destination (p=.011). However, there was no statistically significant relationship between mental status and hospital destination. The interval from arrival at the patient's side to departure from the scene showed a statistically significant difference (p<.001, p<.001), however, it took the longest time (16.8 minutes) in unresponsive patients. It showed a statistically significant difference (p<.001) in the interval from arrival at patient's side to departure from the scene depending on patient assessment; however, it took the longest time (9.6 minutes) in emergency patients. Conclusion: There was call for direct medical control based on patient assessment; however, patient transportation and response intervals were not appropriate.

  • In this paper, in order to prevent accidents when deviating from the lane during high-speed self-driving, we are going to design a warning system that will sound an alarm after recognizing the surrounding situation with a $360^{\circ}$ camera. Accidents often occur while driving on self-driving cars because they try to change lanes excessively or fail to recognize people, animals and objects that appear suddenly when driving at high speeds. The government wants to identify the surrounding situation with cameras when driving off a lane during high-speed autonomous driving, and to create a car that sounds a warning system through a lane departure sensor on the underside of the vehicle to reduce various accidents that occur during self-driving and to have a safer driving system.

  • Recent data development has made it possible to analyze each individual's daily commuting by using transportation card transaction. This research utilizes about 1 million observations from the subway line no.7 of Seoul metropolitan transportation data. By using such a massive dataset, the authors try to identify daily travel behavior of morning commute and its possible relationship between subway usage and socio-economic factors. There are 4 main types of users and their travel behavior, and top 15 stations with the most users for arrival and departure are selected. Accordingly, 15 stations have distinctive characteristics including population density and the number of businesses around stations. To identify this fact, the 4 most populated stations are selected and their socio-economic factors are examined. According to the analysis, the most departure stations are generally surrounded by hihgly populated residential areas, whereas the most arrival stations are stood within the job concentrated districts.

  • Currently, ship control, tug, and pilot work in import/export ports including Gwangyang Port are operated according to factors such as the order of arrival and departure regardless of the shipping company. Also, even this is done very inefficiently by hand. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a system to increase the efficiency of port and ship operation through standardization and digitalization of tasks related to Berthing and unberthing of ships. In this study, we propose a method to increase the efficiency of port and vessel operation by designing a smart port operation system based on big data such as vessel location information, pilotage and tug schedule, arrival/departure operation information, and weather information.
