Effects of WCC types were higher in the experimental group, followed by 13.67% (p=0.006) in coping with wishful thinking, 9.66% (p=0.000) in the pursuit of social support, 6.35% (p=0.000) in dealing with problems, and 4% (p=0.000) in coping with emotions. ESS activities have been confirmed to improve the way alcoholics cope with stress.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the dietary habits and health risk behaviors of adolescents who experienced part-time job. For this study raw data from the 13th Youth Health Behavior Online Survey (2017) was examined. Dietary habits and health risk behaviors for 62,823 adolescents were analyzed according to the experience of part-time job. Collected data were analyzed with the SPSS 24.0 program using descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis, to which the complex sample design was applied. The odds ratio of no fruit intake in adolescents who experienced part-time job compared to adolescents who have not experienced a part-time job was 1.20 (CI: 1.10-1.31). The odds ratio of fastfood intake in adolescents who experienced part-time job compared to adolescents who have not experienced a part-time job was 1.28 (CI: 1.19-1.38). The odds ratio of present smoking in adolescents who experienced part-time job compared to adolescents who have not experienced a part-time job was 3.48 (CI: 3.17-3.84). The odds ratio of present drinking was 3.36 (CI: 3.14-3.96). The odds ratio of high caffeine intake was 1.11 (CI: 1.04-1.19). The odds ratio of high caffeine intake was 2.29 (CI: 2.06-2.55). This descriptive research investigates the knowledge of and attitude toward HIV/AIDS among individuals in their 20s to 40s. This study also analyzes the results of the 2011 and 2013 community health surveys to identify the factors influencing their knowledge and attitude. The study subjects were 20 to 49 years old, and the final analysis included 182,315 subjects. The collected data were analyzed through t-tests, ANOVA, correlational analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The survey results showed a high level of knowledge of HIV/AIDS, with 69.4% correct answers. Most individuals lacked knowledge regarding routes of infection, and those in their 20s had the lowest percentage of correct answers. As for attitude toward HIV/AIDS, 44.3% showed a negative attitude. The scores for knowledge and attitude toward HIV/AIDS were higher among males, unmarried individuals, individuals with a higher income, individuals with a higher level of education, individuals working in agriculture, forestry, or fishery, managers, professions that were not homemakers/unemployed, and professional soldiers. A positive correlation (r=0.27, p<0.001) was observed between knowledge and attitude. The factors influencing AIDS knowledge and attitude were gender, marital status, income level, occupation, and education level. This study confirmed that there is a difference by age group. As such, educational programs customized by age and other characteristics are expected to be more effective in enhancing knowledge and in developing a more positive attitude towards HIV/AIDS.
Purpose: When a patient with acute deterioration occurs in a ward, the decision to transfer to intensive care unit (ICU) is critical to improve the patient's outcomes. However, when available ICU resources limited, it is difficult to determine which of the deteriorating ward patients to transfer to the ICU. Therefore the purpose of this study was to identify risk factors in predicting deteriorating ward patients transferred to intensive care unit (ICU). Methods: We reviewed retrospectively clinical data of 2,945 deteriorating ward patients who referred medical emergency team. Data were analyzed with multivariate logistic regression. Results: The solid cancer that diagnosed at hospitalization (odds ratio[OR] 0.39; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.32-0.47), when the cause of deterioration was respiratory problem (1.51; 95% CI 1.17-1.95), high MEWS (1.22; 1.17-1.28) and SpO2/FiO2 score (2.41; 2.23-2.60) were predictive of ICU transfer. Conclusion: These findings suggest that early prediction and treatment of patients with high risk of ICU transfer may improve the prognosis of patients.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of social support on suicidal ideation among the elderly at welfare centers through the mediating effect of avoidance coping style. This is a descriptive research survey of 392 elderly people at four elderly welfare centers located in G city. Data were collected from October 21 to November 8, 2019, and analyzed using the IBM SPSS/win 26.0 program by t-test, ANOVA, and the Pearson's correlation coefficient. The mediating effect was analyzed by multiple regression analysis according to Baron and Kenny's 3-step analysis procedure. Social support of the subjects was found to be high with an average score of 5.73±1.23, avoidance coping style with 12.53±3.47 points, and suicidal ideations with 6.21±2.06 points. In the correlation between the variables, suicidal ideations were negatively correlated with social support (r=-.146, p=.004) and avoidance coping style (r=.315, p<.001), and these correlations were statistically significant. There was a positive correlation. The avoidance coping style of the elderly using the welfare centers was found to partially mediate the relationship between social support and suicidal ideation (Z=-.270, p<.001). Therefore, to prevent negative emotions such as suicidal ideations in the elderly, various policies and support programs at the local and government level should be continuously implemented.
This study attempted to identify the life and death reproduced in literary works and present well-aging and well-dying using literary studies that considered Korean literature. Literary works such as poems, novels, and plays recorded between the 13th and 20th centuries covered in 10 literary studies in this study were investigated and analyzed. The survey methods include general and outline sections, literary genre sections, period sections, and keyword review. As a result of the analysis, most of the literature studies corresponded to details including author theory. They were concentrated on the novel and poem, and mainly dealt with 20th century literary works. In addition, the relationship between death, life patterns, well-dying, and well-aging inherent in literary works was identified. It was the concept of a whole set and a subset. In conclusion, this study has a limitation in studying literary works at a specific period. Nevertheless, we examined the nature of well-aging in life as a hope to secure a prospect from Korean literature. And this study recognized the nature of well-dying in death and meaningful death as a rite of passage derived from Korean literature. In the future, it is expected to contribute to the realization of well-dying, well-aging, and application of convergence research in Korean society in the 21st century.

This study was to identify factors related to the experience of violence damage, focusing on health risk behavior of multi-cultural and general adolescents in Korea. Data from the 15th online survey of youth health behavior (2019) was used to analyze 35,574 adolescents. The data were analyzed using complex sample analysis by using SPSS/Win 22.0. The multi-cultural adolescents had significantly higher experience of smoking and habitual drug use and violence damage than those ordinary adolescents. In both multi-cultural and general adolescents, the more they did not live with their family, the more they had smoking experience and habitual drug use experience, the higher they experienced violence. The experience of violence victimization of general youth was significantly related to gender, school, economic status, and drinking experience. To prevent the violence victimization of adolescents, social support for adolescents who do not live with their families is required, and careful attention is needed to adolescents who have smoking and drug use experience. In addition, since multi-cultural youth are more vulnerable to health risk behaviors and violence damage than general youth, educational programs are needed to induce multi-cultural youth to practice correct health behaviors and prevent experiences of violence.

The purpose of this assessment was to provide the basic data for setting up education in terms of 'Hand wash' as one of the health plan & education programs for adolescents. The task analyzed the behavior of students regarding hand washing, which were ranged from middle school to high school. The SPSS 18.0 statistical program, frequency-test and cross-analysis were used for data analysis by 2011, 2012 and 2013, which were the recent 3 years, the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey data. In the data, the response of "Never washed" from students before having a meal accounted for 29.4% in 2011, 30.5% in 2012 and 18.5% in 2013, respectively. Unlike other subjects, these facts suggest that this kind of behavior should be considered significant under the assessment. By tracking the trend over three years, some facts were confirmed in that students living in the metropolitan and medium-sized cities were less likely to wash their hands than students in small- sized towns. In terms of gender, female students were less likely to wash their hands than male students. Regarding the type of school, more students in the public middle & high schools had a tendency to respond "Never hand wash" than the students in the special-purpose high schools. Furthermore, as the grade was increased in middle school and high school, students were less likely to wash their hands before meals in school. Therefore, Health promotion and health education for students should be conducted more carefully with more emphasis on this point.
